Personally, I don't get the whole "trend" thing, at-all. I can see if you have a bad day, and you want to sugar coat it by telling yourself you are still going in the right direction, over time, but, again, what's the purpose? A bad day won't crush me. I might whine about it, but it will only make me try harder, not defeat me. I'd rather post, succinctly, what the scale says, instead of analyzing everything, to-death. Like-wise, I don't see the purpose of posts that are the size of "War and Peace". The time spent to draft them could be better used on EXERCISING. Typing doesn't burn many calories… #sorrynotsorry #menarefrommars

    👍👍This is NOT A DIET. It’s a LIFESTYLE👍👍

      ****

    SW Rnd 301 134.0

6/30  133.5  Headache, going to water fitness anyway

7/1  135.0??? Did water fitness, Walmart, nail appointment. Lots of movement - UGH! Going to lunch with neighbor today. I need to fast for a week!

7/2  133.0 lunch was canceled so I fasted until 3:30. Then had 2 small hotdogs with 1 oz cheddar, no bread. Weather is iffy today and tomorrow with high wind warnings and dust storm warnings. I’m drinking my version of BP coffee minus heavy cream. I have been adding waaaay too much of that to coffee - every cup instead of just the first cup. Today- zero cream, only 1T Mary Newport oil blend. The Weather Channel said thunderstorms at 7:30 and I just heard thunder at 7:20!

7/3  134.0 OMAD yesterday was “Chicago Style Dog” and fries. Not a great choice but nothing really appealed to me. I don’t care for the “snap” that our Chicago friends love.

    7/4   133.5  🇺🇸Happy Birthday, USA!🇺🇸 “Picnic” this afternoon.

EDIT: Water fitness and water walking - 2 hours - 300 cal

    7/5   134.5  7 weeks until DGS’s wedding  No TMI x 2

7/6   132.0  A few more days like this would make me super happy. I wasn’t hungry so I didn’t eat.

7/7   132.0 Yesterday was a good day, today I’m making bread after water fitness.

7/8  131.5  Going to Asian buffet with the ladies today. This is a fairly rare treat. I do wish they still had tempura veggies. This will go up tomorrow.

OMG! Last year, I went to an Indian buffet. I was shocked that I liked their vegetarian dishes more than their meat dishes. I gained 5 lb that day. Pace yourself!

@MTW70 I have a tendancy to repeat, but am much older than you, so have repeated many more times. :P One of my newer goals is to "return" at a lower start weight than my previous "return". That has started to narrow down those high and low swings. Hoping to eventually manage to maintain better, but it is my most challenging component of my weight journey. Welcome back!

👍️👍️ I appreciated the comment and thought. Thank you! 🤗

For me, time is of the essence. It's tough enough squeezing time in for exercise w/o spending a lot of time on posting, too. MFP does the graph for us in the "Report" section, so it's handy for posting on the JGMTD feed. I'm also participating in the JGMOM (Just Give Me One Month) feed, and for that feed, I use a monthly calendar (posted below). The calendar shows progress w/o having to overanalyze weigh-ins . As @quiltingjaine said, "Different strokes for different folks, as they say."

I should reach my goal for Round 301, tomorrow. A good start for my return to MFP.

07/07-189.4 ✅ - (Trend Weight: 190.5) I’m relieved to see I’m back in the 180’s , even if it’s by the skin of my teeth. My trend weight is slightly up so I know the holiday got me there for a minute but I’m doing okay now, I guess. I finally got some sleep last night which probably helped. I’ve also been keeping up with some intentional exercise. Now, to move forward with progress, especially on the dietary front! I can definitely do better than I have throughout the holiday!

💥💥💥 07/08-190.0 - ❌ (Trend Weight: 190.5) Not such a good night last night, even though the day went well. Oh, those pesky snack monsters hiding under the bed sometimes at night! I need to drop a bit by tomorrow morning to still show a goal winning loss. Lefty loosey, Righty tighty. Just trying to screw my head on straight over here!

Every healthy habit brings me closer to scratching each of these off to NEVER see them again!

    🎷 67 yrs young F, 5ft 4 Round 301 (my 231st). So grateful as always @quiltingjaine .

    Goals for every round;

    • First and foremost, no feeding frenzies – I am not a shark or even a piranha!
    • to weigh less at the end of the round than the start
    • be happy because I feel that I have made the round count at the end

I need to remain consistent - it does work! Good luck for success everyone.

    image-02344d41f8f518-c156.png

Achieved goal weigh of 125lb in summer 2016 by losing 66lb and then gradually gained between 7 and 11 since then & didn't want to gain any more, it’s taken me 75 rounds to achieve target of 130 = back to maintenance!! But then I crept up again, so need to get back to around 134. A healthy lifestyle must be a permanent way of life.

Updated 20.08.24 – I met up with youngest DB, first time after his DP passed away at the way too early age of 46. DB lives a long way from us, we see him very infrequently & is very introvert, so not a sharer of info 😞. However, he finally opened up to me, it seems that his DPs bad health leading to heart failure followed by kidney, liver failure & then a massive stroke, was originally caused by heavy drinking. By the time he realised he was abusing his body and went teetotal, the damage was too late to reverse. He was on the list for a heart transplant, but his other organs gave up before one became available. This has made me think about how I am abusing my body when I have binges with way too much sugar, fat & salt. I know I am a food addict. I'm going to try to think about this when I am tempted to overindulge, I need to start respecting my body more and think about whether I want to be in the best health I can be. My body has served me so well for 67 years, it deserves to be given the best chance to keep serving me well & I've been really lucky that life has not dealt me a raw health deal, so I must not jeopardize that luck.

6/30 DNW - 8.67 miles walked. DH did finish his 25k run, but really suffered over the last stretch, Sheffield is surrounded by 7 hills & the trail run was up and down these hills around the city, he could barely walk when he finished; the course is brutal! And it was hot! My miles were clocked up walking from the start across the city to meet him halfway with jelly babies & water and then back to see him finish, oh & did mention our DD did it too? So proud of them both. DH is suffering this morning.7/1 DNW - a very gentle 8.85 miles walked yesterday all on the flat as a recovery for DH, he's more or less fully recovered today. Moving up to Harrogate today for the second part of our holiday.

7/2 DNW - 6.15 miles walked yesterday, more purposefully now DH is recovered. And what a change to the weather! Monday 30 degrees C, this morning 18, only 91 miles further north, that's British weather for you!!! 😁

7/3 DNW - 6.04 miles walked. Day started rainy, so we went to do the food shopping for the rest of the week & then drove an hour to Keighley to a NT property & bonus, it was lovely and sunny there👏.

    7/4 DNW - 10.06 miles - happy 4th July everyone 🎉.

7/5 DNW - 10.23 miles walked to Harrogate from the camp site, around the city & back, beautiful old buildings.

7/6 DNW - 10.03 miles walked, a wonderful last day in Knaresborough before we travel home today.

7/7 142.4 – 142.4 – whoops ! That’ll be the 3 Yorkshire cream teas we had over the 10 days holiday plus the extra alcohol – a glass of wine each evening instead of just weekends. Back to it today. No structured walking, due to travelling back home, restocking food supplies from the supermarket & tidying up our garden neglected for 10 days whilst we were away: it looks lovely this morning after it's attention and the long-awaited rain that we had overnight, the first for several weeks.

7/8 143.6 – don’t ask!! Got to catch this before it goes crazy! 6.85 miles walked.

7/9 144 – that is a shock, ate within CICO yesterday, but I know one day is not enough, hoping it starts to come down tomorrow. 9.52 miles walked. Up and out early this morning, I catch up on posts later.

    👍👍This is NOT A DIET. It’s a LIFESTYLE & I AM WHAT I EAT!!!!! 👍👍.

Been travelling the last two weeks, back home now!

    6/30: DNW

    7/1: DNW

    7/2: DNW

    7/3: DNW

7/4: 81.9 - oh boy really! I mean I did only fly in yesterday and I did have very puffy feet on the flight (I think I need to invest in compression socks) so I'm expecting some of that to be fluid retention and go in the next couple of days. Even so, not quite the result I wanted, but I shouldn't be surprised, I ate too much sugar, and too little vegetables while away. However, back home now and back eating normally and hopefully we'll get that number back down

7/5: 81.1 - better. Ended up eating a 2nd dinner as I was starving which meant I worked out about even for the day. I blame the jet lag making me think it was dinner time

7/6: 81.0 - eeeeehhh, I went to my parents for a BBQ and didn't overeat, but then dessert came and my mum made scones and I love scones and so jam and butter and yuuuuum. I don't think I massively over ate, but I don't think I was in deficit for the day.

7/7: 82.1 - Haha, well I should expect that, I'm back to work today so back into the normal routine and back wearing clothes to weigh in. This is only 1.5-2kg up from pre holiday (and less than 1kg on trend), so honestly I don't think that's too bad considering that I really wasn't watching what I was eating while I was away. I'm hoping that I'll be able to get back to where I was at round 299 by the end of next round but we'll see. I won't be beating myself out if it doesn't work out. I'm just going to keep logging and keep going.

7/8: 82.4 - I'm being forced to trust the process right now. Not been feeling 100% (although feeling better today) with Crohn-y feelings, and still not able to sleep at a sensible time so I am definitely running on empty at the moment. Eating yesterday was okay, I made sure I didn't snack and properly logged everything, and I think I ended up about level.

7/9: 80.9 - Wow, glad I trusted the process eh? We'll see if it sticks around this number or if I'm just having a "light" day. Eating yesterday was good, kept under my allowance and even had enough calories left over for a small sweet snack before bed. And because I was WFH yesterday I made sure to go out for an intentional walk at lunch time too which was very positive. And I finally managed to get to sleep at a sensible time so I'm actually not exhausted when my alarm went off this morning (hazzah!) Work is providing lunch today so I've eaten a sensible breakfast and I am going to really concentrate on not over eating (work provided lunches are my biggest downfall)

    Round roundup (TW):

    SW: 80.8kg EW: 81.3kg (+0.5kg)

Weight loss is more than just CICO. If it were simply about CICO, losing weight would be a lot easier. CICO DOES play a huge/major part of the equation, but, again, keep in-mind that there are other factors, and be patient on those days that you think you SHOULD lose weight (solely based on your calorie intake/expediture), but don't. Thanks for taking over the hosting of this group, and best wishes on the next Round! 🤗

I rejoined MFP on the day that this Round started, so it was a great jumpstart on my weight-loss journey.

My only goal for Round 301 was to lose 2.6 lb. There were a couple of small bumps in-the-road, but I still lost 3.0 lb, overall (0.4 lb MORE than my goal)...Down 3.0 lb in 9 days = Mission: Accomplished!!! 🥇

Thanks to many of you for your support, and best wishes on the next Round (or wherever your weight-loss journey takes you). Onward and downward! 👊💥 🤗

    OSW: 237.8 (Nov. 2016.) I was actually at 250 in 2011 or so…
OGW: 199 (just to say I did)
    Maintenance Range Goal: 200-205

Simple Daily Goal for this round, celebrate what I accomplish and learn from what I don’t accomplish. Find out what works for me:
    -Log Food. ✏️
    -Meet CI/CO target, net 1500. 🎯
-Exercise minimum 20 minutes. More if possible.💓

    Round 301 Posts
    This is my posting format….
Month/Day: Scale Reading first thing today before getting dressed. / Goals met ✏️🎯💓/ Comment

Happy to be starting a new ten days. These will be my last ten days before my birthday, when I will be firmly ensconced in the upper 60’s. (yes I know, I am already in my upper 60’s)

This round will have Independence Day along with traditional get-togethers. DD and her boyfriend will join us for a couple days so our whole family will be together for some parade, cookout and fireworks. My grands LOVE their aunt and “uncle” from out of town.

Without the goals above yesterday, my calories would be in a galaxy far far away, and I would have just stayed inside without getting a nice long walk done.

    7/1: 223.0
    ✏️🎯💓
I could get into this downward trend.

Another hot day yesterday. Spent most of it with DGS. Some of that was reading at the public pool along with DW while he frolicked around making new friends and using the water slides.

Another walk before dark saved the day. I LOVE the long days of summer. I capped the day with a game of Gin Rummy with DW where she came from WAY behind to beat me. We just score wins and not all the other fluff that true Gin players do. I am ahead for 2025, 12 games to 11.

    7/2: 223.4
    ✏️🎯💓
Started up a small group bible study yesterday. It will go for 6 weeks with a couple week break in the middle. Good friends. Of course I brought Dunkin Munchkins and ate about 8 of them myself. I didn’t know they were 55-60 calories a pop, and I forgot to log them until this morning. I wondered how my CI could be so low yet I add almost half a pound. Mis-logging, that’s how. Thankfully I was still on target.

One of my problems is mis-logging. Either I totally forget something, or I tell myself a little white-lie about the probable calorie count or quantity, or I just don’t know the actual quantity. (I don’t want a food scale on the counter) It might be helpful to log as I go without saving the reckoning until the end of the day.

    7/3: 223.0
    ✏️💓
Missed the target by a bunch. Total weakness yet the scale did not tattle on me. Probably a penalty tomorrow. I should control myself today since Friday will be a food fest.

I will have something removed by my dermatologist today. Not enough to show up on the scale tomorrow. HA!

    7/4: 222.6
    ✏️🎯💓
Lots of self-control yesterday. Excellent exercise (18 mile bike ride plus lawn mowing) and good food choices.

Feeling like I am on a roll, but today is a big food fest day. Happy Birthday USA! 250 Years. I am so old I remember the Bicentennial Celebration. (I don’t remember the signing of the Declaration of Independence.) I will be cooking part of the meal today. Brats and chicken on the grill and baked beans on the smoker.

DD got here last night after midnight. (I slept through it) Looking forward to hugging her when she wakes up.

    7/5: DNW
Yesterday was a washout, the magnitude of which I will never know. Why? I didn’t log therefore target not visible. And I did not exercise. AND, when I stepped on the scale this morning … nothing. Dead battery I suppose. NSV: I had the courage to step on the scale after a day with three big meals.

    Leftovers loom in the fridge.

I had a wonderful time with family which was not a washout. DW made my traditional Birthday Blueberry Pie. She has been doing this for decades.

    7/5 Part B
    ✏️
OK I went back and at least logged what I ate yesterday.

    7/6: 226.4
    ✏️💓
I don’t have a replacement battery for the scale in the house. In the meantime, I did one of my favorite tricks. Take the old battery out, clean it and put it back in. Good for a few uses more. It kind of makes that sound when you drink the last bit of milkshake with a straw.

I ghastly jump up, but not unexpected with the holiday food we had. Smoked Baked beans, potato salad and pie galore. And, you should have seen the way “they” forced me to eat it. I was a true victim.

Some should drop off with a little sensible eating today and waiting.

    7/7: 225.8
    ✏️💓
At least the reading was lower. Third day in a row with Target not hit. Still grinding through leftovers and they are very high carb and low protein.

Reading was down but the trend is up.

    7/8: 224.2
    ✏️🎯💓
All goals finally met after a poor streak. Weight still trending up due to my past transgressions. There are/is still too much potato salad and baked beans in the fridge. We are staring each other down.

I must get some quality exercise accomplished today.

    7/9: 224.4
    ✏️🎯💓
OK here is why paying attention to average weight matters to me. This morning’s scale reading matched my starting weight for the round. Failure? No. My average weight for the round was almost a full pound less than the previous round. My average weight for a round gives me a better picture of the whole story. It’s not always good news, but it is news.

My trend is up from the start of the round. This is also news. I ended the round poorly and in fact could have had a better average and a lower ending weight with some more discipline.

Congratulations to all who finished the round and I will see you in the next one.

6/30 Had to weigh even tho up @ 3 :30. No TMI x3 days…  terrific day yesterday! But, I am tired this morning. Dragging. I truly wish I could sleep at least one more hour /90 more minutes… simply must figure out this sleep thing. Pleased I participated in the #3️⃣0️⃣0️⃣mini challenge and completed it… I learned more about my thought patterns. A Successful “Celebrate with action” ten whole days. Looking forward to this round - with better sleep . (Manifest!) ONWARD!

7/1 peculiar day. I knew I was overly tired. Went back to bed at 11AM and slept for 2 1/2 hours! Foggy the rest of the day, but I feel great today! 🎾+🚶‍♀️💓⏱️🏋️‍♀️

7/2 130.0?! I actually stood on the scale five times and it said 129.8 and finally the sixth time it said 130.0 which I sincerely don’t believe any of that… The unexpected ⬇️ is just as unwelcomed as the unexpected ⬆️?  Did a good night sleep for two days FINALLY allow my body rest and relax to let go and do its thing?!? Is this a real whoosh or just a tease? I’ll keep it up though. I had to push myself to register 10k steps and 300 jumps yesterday because after two hours of 🎾 I just did not want to… Felt accomplished after… Did not 🏋️‍♀️yesterday. Will do today. ONWARD!

My dream: to simply not ever care on any one given day what the scale reads … To not let it impact my day one iota. To know in my soul “I’m good”. 😊

7/3 130.4. We ate late last night. Only 90 g 🥩. No 🏆The 130.x seems real- a “win” by keeping consistent. And…. Water intake has been 💯& I’m sleeping better so hypothesizing that my body is releasing cortisol - not holding on to stress and finally headed toward enjoying a balance of mind/body/soul. Sleeping well supports good decision making.  Pushing towards 70 min of Z2💓 and 300 jumps each day has many psychological benefits for me… Simply pushing myself a little more builds self- discipline & confidence. Only did 10min of 🏋️‍♀️yesterday will do more today. Why do I push back on that? I am AVOIDING the most important activity!! However, I had an awesome “mobility“ training set that I truly enjoyed. Slow walk this morning in prep for the 🇺🇸4 on the 4th tomorrow. (The humidity is so, so bad right now🥵) … Our goal will be around 60 minutes… I’m not sure if Tucker can make it so we’ll walk jog walk jog…. My hubby is leaving for one week today. (One of his brothers recently lost his wife and so the brothers are getting together in Colorado to camp/hike & bike…(ages 72, 70, 67 & 62) I’m VERY fortunate to be married to a man who prioritizes his health. I will miss him big time! But also an extended opportunity to focus on me!! 💪🏻

7/4 & 7/5 A CRAZY thing happened on the way to the scale⚖️@ 5 :30AM 7/4 before our race yesterday … I literally, not figuratively, freaked out because I read 137 lbs… 🫣😬😳Then, I weighed again - the scale went DARK… Then I changed the batteries and nothing happened so I ordered a new scale to be delivered late today (hopefully) or Sunday. SO there I was running around the house, finding batteries, replacing batteries, totally focused on the darn scale when it really shouldn’t have mattered a hill of beans while getting ready for the race… It’s scary to confess the range of emotions that flooded over me yesterday- straight-talk telling me that I am overly obsessed and re-confirms why I have these major self-image issues. I mean, get a grip Carolyn! Why can’t I simply trust my efforts and not rely on the scale? I’m also sincerely concerned that the scale has not been accurate for some time (LOW?)… I actually believed I was trusting the process? What does the number REALLY mean? I mean, it is what it is… right? Why was I overly dependent on the scale in that moment? I managed to settle down after a few long minutes, but the panic was real. A really, REALLY sad unintended discovery. Couldn’t sleep last night but am determined to have a peace-filled day & go with the flow. Sheesh.

7/6 I was in my head all day yesterday - agonizing. Many unsuccessful efforts to reset my attitude. Finally, around 5:30PM, I said JUST GO DO IT … 70 minute 💓Z2 completed 🚶‍♀️10k steps & 300 jumps… and a solid nutrition day over on Pg which isn’t a bad thing… At 1350 cals,🏋️‍♀️25min (early in day). I felt like a petulant child… kicking & screaming inside my head most of the day.  As agonizing as the day was, I finished it off strong. Scale to arrive this evening?

Much, much better attitude this morning after a good night sleep… Sleep is King!

NSV: strong daily habit of tracking key measures and food… it’s now engrained. I think that’s why the scale fiasco had me rattled - if I’m up 5 lbs (without a clue - “clothing fit” is same) I will reevaluate. I realize it’s not the “5 lbs” per se… It’s everything (goals) which might be off? But it is what it is - I’ll tweak & adjust. ONWARD!

7/7 ✅ another day of lacklusterly / grudgingly going through the check off box… “they” say self-discipline is more important than motivation so that’s where I’m at… I got it all done yesterday… ✅

⚖️ came at 8PM last night - will set it up today. Walk early & plan a “clean” week. I jumped on the “cottage cheese” train and Im puffy & bloated. Its helped with protein goals but my body doesn’t like it! Retaining fluids/ TMI. 5AM Carolyn is starting to appear!

NSV: Avg steps @ 9 .7k for 4weeks. A handful of days under 3k so that hurt… Moving forward, I’ll push for 10k steps but make sure off days are a minimum of 6k. ONWARD!

7/8 133.4 🤔 🚫70 min 💓Z2 only 60 min (I hit a wall but was still satisfied). I need to finish strong with 🏋️‍♀️two more & will end a satisfying round. Still flustered regarding weight /scale but so proud of my consistent movement & mobility strengthening past two rounds. I’m only wondering how long has the scale been off? These past 20 days have been spot on with workouts and calories. The only thing I can think of is that I’ve been eating a lot more dairy than usual… And studies have shown it’s not only calories it’s what kind of calories… Dairy and I have a very bad relationship. Other than that, the kitchen has been a W!  As much as I love the cottage cheese to add protein, my body simply cannot process it. (I re-learned something I already knew! Stick to what you know, silly!) I can FEEL the rejection of too much dairy. I’m hoping I’ll be back to normal in a couple of days. Yes, I am deflated re: ⚖️, but I am still determined to adjust & continue. 💪🏻 We now have a trustworthy scale so I am good to refresh & continue! I’m grateful & present.

7/9 ⚖️132.4. Better. I still feel bloated from dairy. 🚫🏋️‍♀️cuz heat from 🎾took me out. Finished day 💪🏻 with all measures. Today will add🏋️‍♀️- won’t make 5x this round but still a huge success. The extra 10 min of 💓Z2 on 🎾 days is next to impossible. I stay in Z3 & Z4 while playing tennis and the heat takes my strength away to complete later… Lately, I’ve been doing it before 7:30AM but just couldn’t get it done yesterday. Will accomplish in “snacks” today!

Minus the scale fiasco R301 was positive. TBH, with CICO I should’ve been down a couple of pounds the last 20 days… But something else is going on and I’m just not going to try to figure it out. (THAT in itself is an NSV!)  I’m going to hang my hat on “dairy” for now. At least, I now have a scale that I trust. (previous scale had white illumination… This one is bright red! It must know what it’s doing!) R302 is one JGMTD from TWO YEARS! ONWARD!

Just Give Me 10 Days – Round 300
    June 30 – July 9, 2025

63 year old female, 5’5”. I am married, semi-nomadic (we live in three states, Mass, Maine, Florida).
SW WW Sept 29, 2001 - 168.8 (initially lost 29.8, became staff, then up and down 18 years with low of 126.8)
SW MFP Sept 14, 2020  – 153 (lost 40, then stress loss if2.2 lb with low of 120.8, then stress gain)
    SW MFP Jan 1, 2023  – 146.6

GW Maintaining between 124 – 126 SW: 127.6 Since my weight is slowing coming back down, I’ve added back in history details INCLUDING my maintenance numbers. In January, it seemed silly including my goal was to maintain 124 – 126 when I was weighing 138. Those maintenance numbers are in sight now. Just need to get there.

    SW: 130.2

    6/30 – 130.4

    7/1 – DNW

7/2 – 131.0 Is it possible I did not report in for TWO days. I knew I skipped the scale yesterday, and then did not post. I had no idea until this morning that I did not show up here on Monday as well. So I skipped two, but the good news is that I ONLY skipped two. The bad news is also that I skipped two. :P Going to sit here and pre-track my day. Gotta get myself in order. Was in a good place last week. I need to return. Happy July everyone – only a day late!

7/3 – 128.8 Yesterday, was thoughtful. The only negative for the day was that I splurged on a cappuccino at the restaurant last night, and forgot to say decaf. Had a great evening until I could….not….fall….asleep, and I remembered I forgot to say decaf. Not sure how many hours of sleep I got last night, but certainly not what one wants. I wonder if I am going to get hit with withdrawls today. Otherwise, today should be good. :)

7/3 – 129.2 Posting super late today. Was up cooking early to bring things to my daughter, who hosted today. Middle of the day was party, which included my 88 year old, now disabled, mom. After running around with that (though a nice day), drove home, packed and cleaned some more, loaded the car and drove to Maine. Sitting on the couch now waiting for the fireworks out our window.

7/5 – 128.0 I guess I did better than I thought yesterday. I have to assume that I overestimated the calories in the calzone slices. The rest I pretty much knew.

7/6 – 128.6 I did make it to the gym yesterday. First time vising a planet fitness that is not my “home” location. Worked fine, but it was confusing trying to find the machines I wanted. I mainly used the dumbells, which they had a nice supply and lots of mirrors. Eating was acceptable calorie wise, but LOT of carbs and lots of salt. Also went to first IMax movie, and I smuggled in a 130 cal single serve veggie stix (more salt and carbs). So several reasons for an uptick today.

7/7 – 129.2 I did some bad math yesterday, but final number should not have been a gain. I did go walk part of the eastern trail yesterday. I found the mosquitos!

7/8 – 128.0 No walk, calories good. We are heading back to MA a day early this time, so only limited days in ME. Packing and cleaning this morning and leaving at 11, but should get home early enough that maybe I can get in an exercise session.

7/9 – 128.0 Got home (MA) yesterday. Swore I would exercise, but did not. Calories were good, yet I opted to go “over” about 125 cal later in the evening. But not a binge. Would like to get back to the 127 of round 299. Baby steps!

End of Round 301 count down: 67 days until the wedding!

Cream tea consist of a scone with jam & cream and a pot of tea (or in my case coffee). Often the scone is served still warm from the oven & is so delicious - a real treat when we are away.

@musicsax I thought it was simply a beverage. That does sounds lovely. Glad it was enjoyed!
