Not New/Back Again

Hi,I’ve used this app before, but it’s been a while. I’ve had so much happen over the past few years. In 2022 I had to put my best friend to sleep(boxer named Bella)after dealing with Covid and a kidney issue. In 2023 my husband’s boss passed away, we were all like family, then the day before Thanksgiving my dad passed away. In 2024 my high school friend passed away. In 2025 my neighbor passed away, known them for 40+ years, then in February I had my left kidney removed, and recently found out my furbaby Jasper(white kitty) had cancer and had to be put to sleep. I’m writing all this so you can see why I’ve gained so much weight.I know these are not excuses but I let it get to me.I’m at the highest I’ve ever been…208#!
Hoping to get my weight and life back on track…🤞

Hi. You might want to look at the "Serial Starters" thread under this category. We are all folks who've had to start over, more than once, usually.
You've had a lot of losses and I'm so sorry. That is hard and anyone who struggles with weight knows real life challenges matter. The things we can't plan for matter a lot.

Sorry about all that tragedy in your life. 😔
I second Maureen's suggestion of joining Serial Starters....I am a member there, too. We all understand the reasons for regaining the weight. Come and join is!
