🎷 67 yrs young F, 5ft 4 Round 313 (my 243rd).
Goals for every round;
- First and foremost, no feeding frenzies – I am not a shark or even a piranha!
- to weigh less at the end of the round than the start
- be happy because I feel that I have made the round count at the end
- to have a totally 10-day binge free round.
- Would like to lose a pound round.
I need to remain consistent - it does work! Good luck for success everyone.
Achieved goal weigh of 125lb in summer 2016 by losing 66lb and then gradually gained between 7 and 11 since then & didn't want to gain any more, it’s taken me 75 rounds to achieve target of 130 = back to maintenance!! But then I crept up again, so need to get back to around 135. A healthy lifestyle must be a permanent way of life.

10/27 140.6 – (trend 141.4) More or less knew yesterday’s number would not stick, but still happy, last weight in previous round was 144, so that’s a loss of 3.4 pounds. I know that previous weight was inflated due to a bad few days, but still happy. No structured exercise; met up with DS & family at Sudbury Children’s House, enjoyed the time with DGDs.

10/29 140 – (trend 141.2) met up with group of DSs & FF, went for a carvery: we were all very restrained in portion control. 6.44 miles walked before meeting up.
10/30 141.8 – (trend 141.2) woops, chocolate jumped into my mouth!! No structured walking – drove up to fetch 7-year-old DGS, he is staying with us overnight whilst his younger brother is in hospital for a routine procedure.
10/31 141.8 (trend 141.3) – second day with DGS so no structured walking, younger DGS came through his procedure well.

10/31 Weight 100.8kg I forgot to mention this yesterday, but whenI went to the doctors, I weighed two kilos less than my previousvisit! Yay.
Spent a lot of the day sleeping, watched some Law and Order than ordered pizza for dinner.

10/31 175.4 Yikes!!!! I am not surprised by this. There is definitely a pre TOM hormone factor. But the rest is empanadas, cider and chocolate from Trivia night.
I can say this with confidence- my team are fantastic hosts! But it was a complete time suck yesterday finishing the questions and getting everything prepped. I did not get any exercise and barely any movement. A desk job would kill me, it gave me anxiety to be sitting so long.I skipped bootcamp this morning, I needed some sleep. I’m feeling like an absolute slug but also like I’m ready to turn this around.

SW WW Sept 29, 2001 - 168.8 (initially lost 29.8, became staff, then up and down 18 years with low of 126.8)
SW MFP Sept 14, 2020 – 153 (lost 40, then stress loss of 2.2 lb with low of 120.8, then stress gain)

10/28 – 129.2 Yesterday was actually good! Yay! Calories were actually around 200 under, but I have eaten so much lately, I have a few extra calories stored on me. I don’t plan to do this repeatedly, but good to see no spin out yesterday. Let’s get through today!
I am going to make a point of doing the coffee thing in the morning and making sure I catch up on all your posts. When I am not, it is an indicator of where my head is all.
(haha, this year I remembered to update my about me instead of months later!!)
10/29 – 130.0 Ok, payback for cuddling grandchildren when DD warns me they both have colds. Sore throat and body aches, which make me want to EAT……
10/30 – 130.4 not surprised. I did zero tracking yesterday. Still feeling bleck, but grateful that is all it is. :)
10/31 – 130.4 no tracking yesterday, again. The cold is sticking with me and changing each day, first sore throat, then body aches, then congestion, now added ear ache and slight coughing. Need to check in on mom today, but will keep it short and mask up. Despite the cold, plan to join my DGSs trick or treating this evening. We will be outside, and heck, I can’t give it to them as then gave it to me. :P

Waiting until the end of the day to tally it up is usually disappointing.

10/28 – 194.4/ 4,036/19– no change today. I was thinking I would have a gain so I’m happy. Finally feeling better. Not many steps yesterday. My goal for this round is to get my step count up. I have become very sedentary again. Need more movement. Not much sleep last night watching the Blue Jays game till the bitter end. I’m feeling sorry for the fans on the east coast.
10/29 - 194.6/4,877/6 - a slight bump up but expected. Had a busy day yesterday. Happy that both the Blue Jays and Oiler's won last night.
10/30 - 194.8/5,924/26 - not liking this trend of upward movement on my weight. But I did add some more steps to my day yesterday. I ended up working the Spooktacular event for a second time (it's a fundraiser my office runs for a local foodbank).
10/31 - 193.8/4,081/17 - nice drop this morning. My step count was really low but with driving over 200km yesterday it was expected.

203(50 POUNDS GONE!!! I can't believe it!!! I feel amazing. Oh man I made the most delicious dinner last night. Chicken, spinach, sun-dried tomato ravioli in the crockpot! Turned out spectacular! Definitely a new staple in the house. I might even cook it for my family when they come over for bingo night one of these days. Only if my MIL likes sun dried tomatoes…she's pretty picky. Crazy Blue Jays game last night. I didn't snack once in the whole 6.5 hours!!! I'm proud of myself. We'll get 'em next game!!)10/29:
203.4(lost my milestone briefly, but it usually takes me a few days to adjust to a new low. My body reacts so quickly to salt and water fluctuations as well. I feel AMAZING though! I have been reflecting on what I can do now that I couldn't do 50 pounds ago and it is pretty cool. So many NSVs! One of my favourites is I can now sit cross legged. Unreal!I can't remember who asked but yes I am Canadian and we celebrated Thanksgiving a couple weeks ago. And thanks to everyone for all the support about my 50!!)

202.8(Feeling great! I think I finally found a rhythm these past couple months and the weight is just melting off. SO CLOSE TO ONEDERLAND!!!!! I have a feeling I will gain after this weekend because we are going away to Squamish for a couple days for our anniversary and will be eating out a lot. We have a kitchen but I reallllllly don't feel like cooking while away. I'm excited though! Never stayed in Squamish before. Apparently it's beautiful.)10/31: 202.8 (I'm actually really happy I stayed the same today. I had fast food and pizza and chocolate covered nuts yesterday! So surprised. I am proud of myself because my whole family was having these chocolate cake mousse things, but I said no and just stole a bite from my husbands. That was hard! But I did it! Now to just stay on track while in Squamish this weekend. My husband and I decided we plan to eat in for breakfast and lunch, and just go out for dinner. It will save me some points! Looking forward to a lovely weekend away, even though it's supposed to rain.)

Trying to also get my life together because I decided to move forward with the job. My start date is November 10. I feel kind of mixed about it but the extra income will help us. I feel slightly paralyzed this morning but it’s time to get a move on!

10/30 - 129.6 🚫 Gah, cannot seem to motivate to track again. Probably because I keep eating treats and junk that I do not need and should not be eating. I know that I’m not going to be able to get even into the mid-120s if I can’t start tracking again. I hate doing it but if experience had taught me anything, it’s how necessary it is. So far I’ve tracked everything today. Just need to keep going.
Got my workout in this morning and went to the doctor for my annual check up. Got my flu shot so mentally preparing to be tired tomorrow for trick or treating. My doctor pointed out that I’m down 5 pounds from my check up last year, which would be pleasing except that I know I was even lower in January - 123.8 according to MFP. Hope to be there again soon!
10/31 - 130.4 📝🏃🏻♀️🚫 Finally a mostly-on-track day just in time for the weekend. We had ramen for dinner, which I’m blaming for my gain today. Unfortunately, more challenges coming up over the next couple of days. On the positive side, this round’s dates allow some recovery following this weekend. It’s tough when it ends on a Monday!

10/31 175.411/01 174.8 I need to dig deep and turn this around. I sent DH to work with all of the left over candy, except I just looked and for the first time ever the “we give up” bowl left on the porch for late Tricker Treaters is still full.
It got incredibly windy yesterday evening so I think the festivities were cut short. We still had a decent amount of kids even though NONE of our neighbors participate, it would be easy for kids to skip our street but I lore them in…I will be getting lots of movement disassembling the porches and yard. I’m also throwing away that bowl full of candy. DH doesn’t need to know, he can’t handle throwing away anything edible.
Going to body combat this morning. It’s going to be a struggle after getting so little exercise all week. Plus approaching TOM and a low grade cold I’m fighting. But I really need some exercise for my mental health. I feel so much better in my body when I move it!

10/28: 165.9 My brain initially read the scale as 156.9 and I was super excited and then was like that can't be right, it wasn't!! But still pleased with this round start. Lots to do today, first work, then music lesson for my daughter, meeting up with a friend to discuss a project we are doing together, clean the house, grocery shop for book club this week, get book club discussion questions ready, and then work on more projects for an upcoming event…and hopefully find time for a family dinner!

10/28 – 194.4/ 4,036/19– no change today. I was thinking I would have a gain so I’m happy. Finally feeling better. Not many steps yesterday. My goal for this round is to get my step count up. I have become very sedentary again. Need more movement. Not much sleep last night watching the Blue Jays game till the bitter end. I’m feeling sorry for the fans on the east coast.
10/29 - 194.6/4,877/6 - a slight bump up but expected. Had a busy day yesterday. Happy that both the Blue Jays and Oiler's won last night.
10/30 - 194.8/5,924/26 - not liking this trend of upward movement on my weight. But I did add some more steps to my day yesterday. I ended up working the Spooktacular event for a second time (it's a fundraiser my office runs for a local foodbank).
10/31 - 193.8/4,081/17 - nice drop this morning. My step count was really low but with driving over 200km yesterday it was expected.
11/01 - 193.0/5,590/145 - a drop again today, I'll take it had a bit too much Halloween junk last night and was expecting a gain, probably tomorrow I will see it. I did get lots of active minutes yesterday going through and putting out the Halloween decorations. Today I am working an open house all afternoon so that will be on my feet. Then tonight we have a party, again on my feet outside around a big fire.

10/29: 175.5 📉🤯So what this means is…I lost weight on vacation!!! I guess I’m not surprised, since we were getting so much activity and the food wasn’t agreeing with me. It’s kind of a shock, because that is not what used to happen on vacation. 🤣I got to start tap class up again and that felt great! I’m so happy to be back with my regular food. I mean, vacation is fun and all, but there’s no place like home. 👠👠🌈

11/1: 175.0 📉🙌This is my goal for the round! 🤯One thing I know, I’m either less hungry all the time now and/or I’m getting better at living with my hunger feeling for a while. In the past, if I felt a little hunger, I ate some tortilla chips to get me through to the next meal. Granted, I was having difficulty figuring out what to eat and how to live with my Celiac diagnosis. Then my bookclub discussed THE COMFORT CRISIS by Michael Easter. This was a very thought-provoking read that pointed out how we seek comfort too much to our detriment, and he talked about the obesity crisis and our inability to deal with being uncomfortable (hungry).

🦃🦃🦃🦃 11/01-183.0 ✅ (Trend Weight: 184.1) Below is my Trend Weight graph for the past 6 months. I did really well starting around my birthday (May 10th) through summer. Then in September and throughout Autumn I have really become stagnant and fizzled out. No big permanent gains, just kind of like a firecracker that turned out to be a dud. It’s time to pick up some steam again, some sparkle. With the holidays directly in front of us, it won’t be easy but I’m going to give it the old college try and do my best to navigate it. I won’t settle for just “not gaining” during the holidays. The losses need to pick back up and push their way through. I never know what tomorrow brings, but today I feel ready! New Month, Fresh Start!

I am going to make a point of doing the coffee thing in the morning and making sure I catch up on all your posts. When I am not, it is an indicator of where my head is all.

10/31 – 130.4 no tracking yesterday, again. The cold is sticking with me and changing each day, first sore throat, then body aches, then congestion, now added ear ache and slight coughing. We will be outside, and heck, I can’t give it to them as then gave it to me. :P
