66 year-old Mimi who loves being outside. Retired except for Mimicare for the grands a couple days a week and after school pickup. Yet, somehow, I'm busier now than when I was working it seems.

    Highest Weight: 213 (in ~2005)
    Lowest Weight: 143 (in ~2019)
Weight in 2024 when I began MFP again: 191.3
    Goal Weight: 147

    SW Rnd 313—155.8, EW: 156.4
    SW Rnd 314–156.4

11/11—156.4 Happy Veteran’s Day my American friends. Thank you to all who have served to protect our freedom.
    11/12–156.6 Needed more activity yesterday.
11/13–157. Not sure what made this jump up. Nutrition was good yesterday.
11/14—155.6 Got in a good walk in the neighborhood with River. Training him to heel better is going well now. Driving up to Virginia this evening to take DGD to see the play, "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" at the Barter Theater tomorrow. Will get in an Aqua Fitness session this morning before we drive, then hopefully a walk on the Virginia Creeper in the morning.

@Chapter_3 At the bottom of your post I clicked on "quote" (obviously) and "hug." If MFP would let me I would also click on "insightful," Inspiring," and "like!" Thank you.

Yesterday went the way it should. Yoga and floor exercise to start the day. Then, a long road trip with DW for a Dr. appointment which included lunch out. The food was so good and ample. I logged it all along the way and restricted my supper at home by pre-logging it and adjusting to stay within goals. If only…

    Another day of meeting goals.
Today we travel 4 hours to see DD. Come home tomorrow. We always eat “well” when we are together. Should do some hiking as well. Weather breaking bad on Sunday.

The food at DD weekend was plentiful and salty and sweet. Pizza, Pancakes etc. We did get a nice long walk done on Saturday before weather broke.

A day of running errands and eating somewhat sensibly. I did my floor exercises.

I am not a veteran, but I TRULY appreciate all of them. Happy Veterans Day!

Slowly undoing the weekend away at DD house.

Heavy on our minds this week is the birthday party / anniversary party we are throwing for my parents. Not a lot of work, but still a bit stressful. They both turn 90 before the end of the year and they will celebrate their 70th anniversary in January. The highlight of the party will be when my parents play “twister!” (JUST KIDDING!!) We are holding the party at Dad’s nursing home. Looking forward to seeing some people I haven’t seen for a while.

    11/13: 222.0
    ✏️🎯💓
A diet coke disqualified me from the UPF goal. It was mindless. I didn’t even realize it at the time.

    11/14: 221.4
    ✏️☣️🎯
Yesterday was full of unscheduled helping for my parents and my children. Frankly I don’t do well with “unscheduled.” So thank you @Chapter_3 for your post. It puts things in perspective for me.

    JGMTD Rnd 314 #84

F 67, 5’6”, married, retired. Embracing a “growing younger” positive mindset - to be fully present to enjoy each day of this #HSF (healthy, strong, fit) journey. I fully commit to a daily renewal of #MindBodySoul. HW 172lbs in 2010. Optimum weight of 127 to 129lbs in 2015. Roller Coaster 🎢 ride with max of 145lbs every three years since 2015.

Round#314 is my JGMTD 84th round. I joined JGMTD in Aug 2023 @ 145lbs & reached my confident weight of 128lbs in Dec 2023.

I am a #foodaholic. I am on a lifetime health journey. Why? I want to keep up with my DH & fully enjoy activities with my grandchildren for as long as breathe!

R318: I’m ready for an uninterrupted round of progress, persistence, consistency & focus. AND LETS WORK IN SOME FUN! BHAG 128-130lbs. I was “there” for several months at this time last year and several months the year before. I shall do it again & remain. #HSF #MindBodySoul

I pursue a clean, whole food, WOE tracking macros and calories. 🏆 I pursue aging younger through an assortment of activities: 🎾 , strength-training 🏋️‍♀️, structured weighted -vest, walk🚶‍♀️, 8-10k steps/day👣, mobility, flexibility, movement🤸🏼 & plyo⏱️#MindBodySoul 📖 I’ve named my journey, “Healthy, Strong, Fit” (#HSF)

    ********

11/7 Ready to start this round! I remember  R300 was one of my most successful rounds because I dedicated it to all the JGMTD long-term participants. I honestly want to dedicate this to @skyleen75 because she has been such an inspiration … And of course, I seem to do much better when I put someone else before me. 😜 LETS GO!
oh, and I laughed so hard last night with my friends - I’m on my way to chalking up some good fun. ✅ I’m adding this checkmark ✅ to track laughter and joy to my day because I need to make sure each day is filled to the brim!

11/8 I am not any less committed this morning than I was at 6:15 PM last night. I had a perfect day until meeting family for dinner to celebrate my sister‘s birthday… Perfect nutrition (🏆) 🏋️‍♂️👣📖.  I was planned and prepared… Until, one alcoholic beverage (oh just one), and a “small” taste of the best pasta my mouth has tasted in years… Oh what FAKE delight! That was it! It was over from that singular moment. At least I stuck to only one alcoholic beverage, but I ate the entire plate of pasta then, THEN…. enjoyed a very small piece of cheesecake. I’m not upset this morning… I’m even more committed as it proves that my self-discipline can disappear at any moment. POOF! GONE! I will consciously avoid any temptation for the remainder of #318 & #319. I know that moderation is key, but I’ve been on this journey long enough to know that I’ve been giving too much lip service and choosing to not buckle down and staying firm to my ultimate BHAG (decision). It starts with getting a grip on my thought patterns. ONWARD!

11/9 Stayed on nutrition plan… and, will be active today. Focusing on attitude adjustments.

11/10. Calories on target, macros off. Increase hydration today! Still not quite myself but journaling and challenging my thought patterns. Glad it’s Monday!

11/11 Zero fun yesterday. Slept most of the day and almost 10 hours last night so I guess I’m fighting something. Hydrated well. Tracked & ate @ maintenance . Not the best choices but limited portions. I do have a much more positive attitude after an unplanned “rest” day. Today? Im hopeful. We are experiencing that 🥶 spell so I doubt I’ll get much outdoor activity. Give me 🥵 HEAT over 🥶! And, 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 sincerest gratitude to our veterans!

11/12 Discipline & attitude slowly returning. Step count is down tho. Today - 🏆🤸🏼🎾🚶‍♀️💗👣✅ I reconfirmed my nutrition plan is spot on! Just need to continually set myself up for success & follow-thru.  Keep the momentum flowing. #HSF #MindBodySoul

11/13 I had planned to go on an extended WV walk yesterday, but decided to visit with friends (✅) after tennis match. Nutrition🏆, attitude, mindset flowing well. Still struggling a wee-bit with time change….?! Today is planned. Note to self: The night out with my sister last Friday proved one evening can derail an entire round (for me) per the “scale”. My body (like many) super quick to gain (retain)  & slow as molasses to remove. My “processes” are unique. Can be discouraging but it’s how God made me! Self-hug!!!! No whooshes for me - EVER! I’m super glad to know this. Knowledge helps. Years of tracking and data are valued. Know thyself! 😍 #HSF #MindBodySoul

11/14 on target all day AND enjoyed a small piece of cheesecake after early dinner. That’s it. 😊Looking forward to today.

Thank you! ❤️ I’ve read your supportive posts. From my ❤️to yours. ❤️. Have a wonderful weekend!

@Zaxa2021 having a disabled child is hard I can't imagine having 2. My daughter now 20, has the fine motor skills of a 2 year old, gross motor function of a 4 year old, emotional maturity of a 4 to 6 year old and the vocabulary of a drunkin sailor and the hormones of a teenager. Thankfully she can be funny and loves to please me and her father and her caregivers. She has a neurological defect of unknow source that is under investigation ( meaning that after 15 years of looking the specialist all don't know what is going on). genetic testing did let us know that he also has a very rare blood disorder and that she has several genetic deletions that may or may not be the issue. I hope that you have some help with the kids. If you don't start looking for some, another mom with special need kids, or an oragnization that helps. for a long time I didn't get help, looking back now I wish that I had taken some breaks, I thik it would have made me more able to roll with things.

@Chapter_3 So sorry about the loss of your friend ALS is an awefull disease. My uncle was 5 years from diagnosis to death. It was brutal to watch him.

@BrenM1985 question if you don' mind. Are you following the original hard 75 or a modified one?

@SheilaBoneham slow and steady wins the race.

@pezhed That is an amazing increase in your strength 😊

@Jane022896 I love to bake and try out new recipes, unfortunately unlike you I also like to eat what I bake so I have had to curb my baking.

    Round 314
    Nov 7 - 16, 2025
    Female, 54, 5”1’
HW: 209.5 **was higher but I just did not get on the scales.
    RSW: 192.2
    RGW: 190
    FGW: 175
    UGW: 125

I am Kira, working, an empty nester, and married. I live in Edmonton, Alberta with my hubby, dog, Farley, cats Shadow and Hunter. I have tried all diets and programs out there over the years, but nothing has worked for long. Now I am working on loving life and trying to be healthier.

A smile is a curve that sets everything straight.
    Phyllis Diller

    Goals for this round are:

    1. Eat with purpose.
    2. Drink 50oz of water daily
    3. Get my step count to 6k daily.

    My format for posting
    Day/weight/steps/active minutes

11/07 - 191.8/5,289/125 - I didn't expect a drop this morning with all the chips and chocolate that I ate last night. I did get the shed reorganized and ready for winter and, found my Christmas decorations for the front lawn.

11/08 - 192.6/4,640/4 - I got the uptick I expected yesterday this morning. Hopefully tomorrow I will be back down. I get to go out and shovel this morning so that the front walk doesn’t get icy. I enjoyed watching the snow all day yesterday. Today I will be going out first to shovel then for a walk around the bock in the cold fresh air.

11/09 - 192.4/4,347/6 - was hoping for a bit more of a drop but life is what it is sometimes. I'm going out for lunch today with an old friend that I never seem to get together with. Looking at my goal to eat with purpose, I have not been doing that much lately. I need to think before I chew.

11/10 - 193.0/4,214/22 - yeeks!! not sure what happened!! Okay maybe I do know what happened. I am an emotional eater, Yesterday my dd was supposed to come home for a few days and I was really looking forward to seeing her. By lunch time I hadn’t heard from her so I knew that she wasn't coming, at 2 I finally heard from her and she said she couldn’t come up, the excuse didn’t sound right so I know it was really the boyfriend who didn’t want her to leave. I finished off the Halloween candy plus had caramel popcorn and sprite while watching a movie. Today is a new day and I am going to move forward from this. I have got to learn a new way of dealing with my emotions. I am getting better in that I'm down to only 1 day instead of a week but still.

11/11 - 192.6/3,840/5 - glad to see the slight loss, hoping to keep it that way. Today is Remembrance Day, I am going to take some time today to remember those that fought for our country.

11/12 - 192.6/7,277/27 - no change in weight but I did blow my step goal away. I took the time to walk to the grocery store instead of getting in my car. Today I am going to look for ways I can increase my steps.

11/13 - 192.4/2,985/4 - weight seems to be steady. My step count was not good at all. Just didn't feel good yesterday. Started with a headache early in the day. I ended up in bed by 7pm. Way too early but I needed it. Thankfully today is a new day and another chance to course correct.

11/14 - 191.4/3,818/9 - I like the drop, not happy with my step count. Why is it that in the morning I am full of determination to get moving, but later during the day I seem to forget and fall back into chillin. I might not have a weigh in tomorrow as I am taking the red eye across the country tonight. Going to be a long night, hoping I get some sleep.

    ENDING WEIGHT LAST ROUND 185.0

    11/07-183.6 ✅ (Trend Weight – 184.0)

    11/08-182.2 ✅ (Trend Weight: 183.8)

    11/09 – 180.8 ✅ (Trend Weight – 183.5)

    11/11-183.4 ❌ (Trend Weight: 183.2)

    11/12-182.0 ✅ (Trend Weight: 183.1)

11/13-183.4 ❌ (Trend Weight: 183.2) Eyes popping out of head over here, arms crossed, brows furrowed. I did have an extra small snack last night but then got back on exercise bike for another 30 minutes (for a total of 75 minutes). You can’t outride the fork. Meals were on target and I got in lots of extra steps and movement with more housecleaning and organizing. This is a shock and a disappointment. Bad sleep (again) probably played into this as well. The neuropathy has been horrible in my feet the last few nights and there is just no getting past it. My fitbit readiness level showed 18 out of 100 today which is very low. DD and DGS will be back later this afternoon. We also have the book fair at 6:00 pm at school for DGS.

🦃🦃🦃🦃 11/14- DNW ↔️ (Trend Weight: DNW) No Weigh Friday for me. Today was still a school day for my DGS so up I was for the bus, as usual. Normally school is cancelled for opening day of hunting in our schools and all the surrounding counties’ schools but this year the 15th is on a Saturday so the kids don’t get that break. Obviously, most everyone hunts here so it is a big deal that the kids can go with their parents. (Yes, many of the women hunt too, even bow hunting). The kids take junior hunting courses available in the area first as it’s required. It’s a big weekend for our tiny town. Traffic will be heavier and we will have to wait in lines at stores, restaurants and other such things we are not used to. Most people stock up on what they will need before this week begins. I try to be one of them. I’m not sure what me, DD and DGS are doing this weekend yet. Hopefully no travel. We pass a lot of woods and a national forest or two in much of our travels. I often wonder if a bullet could come whizzing out toward the road on a fluke. I was born & raised in the city so I think very differently than my neighbors.

good morning, late starting this challenge but woke up inspired and eager to get back on track. So hello everyone. I’m 67 🤪and lost 40 lbs during Covid and became vegan as well and also gave up alcohol, so I guess I could say Covid provided gave me a kickstart to look after my health. I’ve kept the weight off, up and down a few either way. I’d love to lose the last 20 lbs I never did.

11/7 DNW ~ Went out to breakfast and dinner for my birthday. Had a green salad along with my omelet for breakfast. The salad was really good, and I'm not big on salads, usually. Dinner, had crab cakes for an appetizer and creole style catfish for my meal. All very good and ALL would have appeared on the scale for sure!!

11/14 230.8 Yet another crazy week that’s gotten away from me. Monday promised severe snow storms. We got very little, but I was ready. Wednesday is now G-Ma and Julian day as I get to take him to his Karate class. He’s got his green belt and just got another stripe on it. Thursday is a blur and today I’m babysitting at my son and DILs house. So let me get this off my chest as I would never say anything to them… André does not have his own bed. Well he does but it’s a queen size waiting on him to turn 5. They have the concept of the “family “ bed. The same was kind of true with Julian, but he did have a crib that he never slept in. While this idea is obviously ok for some…the kid never learns to go to sleep on his own. I just had André cry in my arms for 45 minutes until he wore himself out. Now I’m sitting in the dark in their bedroom???? Because he’s in the middle of a queen size bed with no safety mechanisms. Im sitting in a little rocking chair that I’m hoping I don’t break. Ok, vent over! On another note, Lola is 12.6 pounds!!! She finished all her shots today so we are safe to venture out for a walk. Well sort of..apparently there are lots of hawks in our area! AND my sister finally has a date and has been cleared for surgery! It will be Tuesday 11/18.

    🎷 67 yrs young F, 5ft 4 Round 314 (my 244th).

    Goals for every round;

    • First and foremost, no feeding frenzies – I am not a shark or even a piranha!
    • to weigh less at the end of the round than the start
    • be happy because I feel that I have made the round count at the end
    • to have a totally 10-day binge free round.
    • Would like to lose a pound round.

I need to remain consistent - it does work! Good luck for success everyone.

    image-a70455ab1dc3e-92f3.png

Achieved goal weigh of 125lb in summer 2016 by losing 66lb and then gradually gained between 7 and 11 since then & didn't want to gain any more, it’s taken me 75 rounds to achieve target of 130 = back to maintenance!! But then I crept up again, so need to get back to around 135. A healthy lifestyle must be a permanent way of life.

Updated 20.08.24 – I met up with youngest DB, first time after his DP passed away at the way too early age of 46. DB lives a long way from us, we see him very infrequently & is very introvert, so not a sharer of info 😞. However, he finally opened up to me, it seems that his DPs bad health leading to heart failure followed by kidney, liver failure & then a massive stroke, was originally caused by heavy drinking. By the time he realised he was abusing his body and went teetotal, the damage was too late to reverse. He was on the list for a heart transplant, but his other organs gave up before one became available. This has made me think about how I am abusing my body when I have binges with way too much sugar, fat & salt. I know I am a food addict. I'm going to try to think about this when I am tempted to overindulge, I need to start respecting my body more and think about whether I want to be in the best health I can be. My body has served me so well for 67 years, it deserves to be given the best chance to keep serving me well & I've been really lucky that life has not dealt me a raw health deal, so I must not jeopardize that luck.

I am the driver in my life & not the passenger, I need to drive my life to a healthy life."Health is wealth".

    11/6 140.8 (trend 141.3) – 8.34 miles walked. A 0.2 pound increase this round, onto the next!

    EW Rnd 313 140.8

    SW Rnd 314 140.2

    11/7 140.2 (trend 141.1) 8.44 miles walked.

11/8 DNW - away for the weekend in the caravan. 7.45 miles walked yesterday.

11/9 DNW - 11.45 miles walked along the canal to Kinver, took in a Christmas Craft Fayre & walked back. A lovely autumnal day for a walk.

11/10 139.6 (trend 140.7) loving this number, going to really try hard not to sabotage it THIS time! Managed to get in a 5 mile walk yesterday morning before we travelled home. Just noticed - what on earth happened to my post yesterday? Put it right in this one!! Have a good Monday & week folks.

    11/11 139.6 (trend 140.6) 9 miles walked yesterday.

    11/12 139.2 (trend 140.4) 7.87 miles walked.

11/13 139.2 (trend 140.2) less than 4 miles walked yesterday and all around the shops; the rain was in for the day, so we took the opportunity to do some Christmas shopping.

11/14 139.2 (trend 140.1) 9.49 miles walked. Doubt that will be able to get out today due to Storm Claudia☹.

11/15 139.2 (trend 140) no structured walking, grocery shopping, housework, ironing & broke the back of the Christmas present wrapping.

    11/16

    👍👍This is NOT A DIET. It’s a LIFESTYLE & I AM WHAT I EAT! 👍👍.

Whoah, there it is! Hormonal bloat is real.

I dropped the boys off with Gramma last night, they'll come home Sunday afternoon. I love them of course, but have been really looking forward to the weekend. We just dropped naps, so the little time I've had to get stuff done went away. It's hard to keep up with the housework with them around so I have a lot to catch up on today. I also need to menu plan and prep. I'm hoping to find a few good recipes that I can freeze for throughout the week. Again, really hard to cook with the little monsters around.

11/14 on target all day AND enjoyed small piece of cheesecake after early dinner. That’s it. Looking forward to today.

11/15 sleep deprived, I forgot to weigh this morning because I woke up at midnight and was awake till 4 AM. When I finally got up late, I went straight to hydrate & coffee and forgot about the scale. Terrific day yesterday. ✅ tons of laughter with a dear friend! We went out to an early dinner - one cocktail and two bites of dessert. A little over maintenance and macros were not in line (cocktail & dessert) I’m in a tennis tournament this weekend - will be active!

Tomorrow is a new week and I'm going to stay focused. It will be a challenge though because my husband is going away. Sometimes that means I act like an unsupervised 6 year old in a kitchen and make poor choices. Or I get skip the dishes because I don't like cooking a whole meal for one person. BUT I made a meal plan and found a couple new salad recipes for me to try that I'm excited for. I'm going to try my hardest not to order food in or go get fast food. I really really want to get to onederland.)

Apparently a lot of us have “getorganizeditis,” judging by @Skyleen75 and @_JeffreyD_ and @majork29 and no doubt more people I’ve missed. Is it the weather? 🤣 I too often get distracted from the real task by “necessary” pre-tasks. This is actually a common topic among writers and other creative people—can’t start until the towels are refolded and stacked by color and the spice cabinet is alphabetized. But—and I was going to report this before I read this thread!—yesterday I did a thing. I had two bins of “skinny clothes” in my closet—clothes that fit me when I was 50 pounds smaller. And of course they taunted me every time I opened the doors. So I went through them one by one and decided there was nothing there that held much interest anymore. They’re boxed and in the car for delivery to a resale shop—today, before I change my mind. Someone may as well wear them before they go too much farther out of fashion. Today I’m getting winter duds out of storage and packing up summer clothes to store, and I’m going to go through those, too, before I pack them away. I have way too many “I can wear it in the garden” clothes that I should rip into rags! Anyway, this is the sort of job that I hate to start, but am happy to have done, and I always feel lighter afterward. I need to do this with my yarn stash, and give a few I’ll never use to someone who will. What does that have to do with losing weight? Quite a lot, I think, for me. I seem to resist junk food and snacks better when my space is tidied up.

    11/08 — 197.7
Finally! I’ve eaten responsibly the past few days, and it’s nice to see a little progress.

    11/09 — 198
Shoot. Sometimes I wonder about the trend calculations, and this time I think yesterday was likely a fluke. Whatever, I’m trending downward. We got our first snow last night, looks like about 2 inches. Pretty, but I’m not ready! It won’t stick long, though. We did our last garden cleanup yesterday, so good timing. Today I’m going to make veggie soup and knit.

    11/10 — 198
Today is my weekly brunch and knit day with a friend. I have my brunch order planned out!

    11/11 — 197.6
Woot! Nice drop this morning. Yay!

    11/12 — 197.6

    11/13 — 197.4
Slowly, but downward without doing anything extreme or feeling deprived. I feel much healthier about it emotionally than I did before I took that long break.

    60 y.o. 2017-187lbs.

    RGW-134 UGW-124Thank you @musicsax !!!🌸

    11/7-136

11/8-136-Played Pickel ball and rode the horse (short nap required) would have made it down a pound, but baked a chicken for dinner and had some of that while fresh. Horse and yard work today, some quilting added to that.
11/9-135-Worked in the garage yesterday and will finish it today. Someone was talking about trying to organize one area of their house/life and see 20 other things that need attention. I find it hard to keep up with all of my quilting projects, yard projects while every room in the house needs attention. Meanwhile, I need to get our house/yard ready for Thanksgiving and Christmas. I absolutely have got to make lists just to survive.
11/10-135-Glad to stay here after a big tablespoon of peanut butter yesterday when I wanted a snack. Made a big list of what needs to get done, and a list of four things that I will work on for 15 minutes daily. Hopefully I can get caught up doing it like that.
    11/12-135
11/13-134-Finally. Lunch today with some gals and there is a steak salad I can get.

11/14-DNW-Heavy food that would be make the scale lie. Today I’m traveling to an out of the area quilt shop for the day with lunch out. Should get home early enough to get something done around the house.

11/15-DNW- For some strange reason, I ordered lasagna at lunch yesterday and ate it all. Back on track today.

    11/7: 175 😊

11/8: 173.9 🫢📉Unexpected loss. I was sooo hungry last night ALL evening! I didn’t have protein in my dinner, so go figure. So I munched on grapes, etc…healthy stuff. I had to help my mom a lot, so I got no exercise. I was expecting to weigh heavier. 🤷‍♀️Go figure! Today I’m hoping to get a bunch of stuff done and maybe some exercise. 🤞

11/9: 173.0 🤯📉Amazing! Again, unexpected! I did exercise an hour yesterday. We had an early dinner. 🤷‍♀️

11/10: 172.4 😊📉Exciting after such a painfully slow loss the past two months. I am learning patience—a hard lesson in weight loss. Today is lesson day, so busy, busy, busy. We always clean the house before my first lesson, so I’ll have some activity there.

Forgot to say yesterday that I made a new dish! I’m getting ready to learn some vegetarian dishes for my DC#1 and their GF come for a visit at Christmas. I made Vegetarian Butternut Squash Chili with Avocado. We weren’t confident that we would like it or even feel full (with no meat), but it was truly good and filling! Tonight we had it again. The only problem was that I mixed the spice bottles up and put too much Chipotle Chili Pepper in. Wow! Very hot. After reading what to do to calm down the hot spiciness of the dish, we suffered and split a cupcake. Apparently sugar helps. 🤣 I did add more other ingredients, as well fat free plain yogurt and tortilla chips as toppings. All of that helped…especially the cupcake…and the Tums!

11/11: 174.1 😳📈Well, I think I may have had quite a bit of sodium last night??? Tonight, we have dinner at an Italian restaurant. Yikes! We will actually have three days in a row of eating out. Fun times!

11/12: 173.6 😊📉Yesterday was a good day. I was expecting a gain this morning after last night’s meal, even though I exercised an hour yesterday and had a large surplus of calories left. So I’ll take this. I’m taking a friend to an appointment and out to lunch, in addition to dinner out with friends tonight. Don’t know if I’ll get any exercise. Tomorrow will be interesting.

    11/13: 174.4 📈😕

11/14: 173.0 📉Back on track! 🙌No more crazy eating out for a while. Exercised about an hour yesterday. I had my physical yesterday and all of my results are in the green range except for LDL…which went down 15 point from last year! 🎉It still needs to come down some more, but I’m on my way to Healthy Land! Woo hoo!!! No commitments today, so it’s catch-up time at home.

11/15: 172.9 📉😊One more day before the round ends. Here’s to hoping I stay where I am weight-wise. No exercise yesterday. Just controlled eating and lots of water. Not sure about today either.

Comments I intended to post yesterday and got pulled away from my tablet:

@SModa61 Pasta is killer for me too ! It doesn’t matter how on track I am with calories. If I eat pasta, I weigh heavier the next morning…usually.

@musicsax Storm Claudia ? I had to look that up. It always blows my mind how much those of us here in the US are ignorant of what is going on around the world. Even more embarassing was, I had to look up the 150mm of rain = 5.9” of rain. Wow! 😳Here’s hoping you stay safe and dry! 💕

@jrago47 I like love your incentive of adding a charm for every 50 pounds lost!!!🤩

@itladyee Somehow I have missed your posts. I have been wondering how Lola is. Glad she has her shots now. I don’t have grandkids yet, so how cool you get to spend time with them. I know that when we get grandkids (and if we get to see them), we will shake our heads at how our kids do things. I have to say, I couldn’t do the “family bed.” I had to have my sleep to be a good mom.
