11/14- DNW ↔️ (Trend Weight: DNW) No Weigh Friday for me. Today was still a school day for my DGS so up I was for the bus, as usual. Normally school is cancelled for opening day of hunting in our schools and all the surrounding counties’ schools but this year the 15th is on a Saturday so the kids don’t get that break. Obviously, most everyone hunts here so it is a big deal that the kids can go with their parents. (Yes, many of the women hunt too, even bow hunting). The kids take junior hunting courses available in the area first as it’s required. It’s a big weekend for our tiny town. Traffic will be heavier and we will have to wait in lines at stores, restaurants and other such things we are not used to. Most people stock up on what they will need before this week begins. I try to be one of them. I’m not sure what me, DD and DGS are doing this weekend yet. Hopefully no travel. We pass a lot of woods and a national forest or two in much of our travels. I often wonder if a bullet could come whizzing out toward the road on a fluke. I was born & raised in the city so I think very differently than my neighbors.
🦃🦃🦃🦃 11/15-180.2 ✅ (Trend Weight: 182.7) I strung two good days together in spite of DD and DGS being here. Last night I was brought a carry out appetizer from a restaurant about 2 ½ hours away from my oldest DD. I hadn’t been to that restaurant since she graduated from college a couple of years ago. Wow, so good and something we’ve never found anywhere else. I also didn’t exercise. So I was over on calories by about 250, Way Over on my carbs and no exercise. Otherwise, could I have dipped my toe into the 170’s? I guess we’ll never know. Today I am STARVING which happens after a drop (3.2 lbs in 2 days!). I’ve got to plan wisely as my mind is already wandering to things like Pizza. Hang in there Donna!

Highest weight 242 lbs Lowest weight 142 lbs (2019) Re-start JGMTD Feb 2024 at 200lbsRound 312 End Weight 173.0
11/08 173.2
11/09-11/15 Traveling no scale
11/16- 178.6 One week of eating every single steamed cake with custard or sweet potato or chestnut or red bean paste…
All of my fruit has been on a stick and dipped into the most delicate sugar coating. Oh and the melon pan- warm fluffy bread with a crunchy sweet crust.
And bowls of noodles with eggs and dumplings. Crispy fried salty EVERYTHING on a stick. Have I mentioned dango? Little balls of rice flower dough charred and covered with a sticky sweet and sour soy glaze. Also eaten on a stick! So yes over 5lbs in one week despite getting at least 20,000 steps each day! The Japanese are known for being slender- it is not from lack of delicious food but I think a combination of genetics and a culture of purposefulness that creates a very serene form of self discipline.
I am madly in love with this country. First week was based in Tokyo (using the public trains was my main workout both physically and mentally). Shrines, Gardens, shopping, crowds. Day trip to a beach town- even more beautiful gardens and shrines, antique shops, coffee house, beach stroll!
Day trip to Mount Fuji- more shrines and gardens, boat ride, sky gondola, eating eggs cooked in a volcanic hot spring!
And now part two- we’ve arrived at my auntie’s city in the mountains. We are staying at her family’s traditional home in town that she grew up in (no one lives in now). To be in a local home is an authentic experience that is a gift.
My auntie Asako, her husband and my Aunt I’m traveling with.
This experience is amazing. Today we go to a famous Kabuki show this morning, take a traditional mineral bath and explore the ancient mountain top castle here in Nakatsugawa. And of course visit with neighbors and explore our home for the next week.
I am going to try and practice some food discipline today. Nothing makes you aware of your body like trying on great grandmas kimono, except maybe taking a naked bath with thirty small Japanese women 🤣
Number one best fortune.

Back once again! Life threw me a couple of curve balls a in round 310 when I tried to jump back in, so fingers crossed all curve balls are behind me now (for the near future at least)!
38 year old female, 5'2", Australia. Just a couple of kilos to lose then back to maintenance.
SW - 90kg / 198.5lb - 2013
GW - 57-59kg / 125-130lb - Reached 2018 and again in November 2024 after having 2 kids
RSW - 62.8kg / 138.4lb
RGW - 62kg / 136.6lb
Round focus habits
- Drink water 💦
- No alcohol Monday-Thursday 🍺
- Home prepped meals 👨🍳
- Planned snacking 📃
11/10 - 62.8kg / 138.4lb - 💦🍺👨🍳 - drank my water, moved my body, avoided alcohol, prepped my food. A sneaky little unplanned snack tipped my calories over in the end, but it was balanced and not bingey so I'm still chalking the day up as a win!
11/11 - 62.5kg / 137.7lb - 💦🍺👨🍳📃- nailed all the goals today. Enjoying the motivation that comes with getting back on the horse, knowing this too shall pass but taking the losses while they come!
11/12 - 61.95kg / 136.5lb - 💦🍺👨🍳 - Added in an extra yougurt and fruit snack in the evening because I was huuuuungry. Big drop on the scale though! Just getting back to sensible eating so it make sense that the numbers are changing pretty quickly. Glad to have made goal for the round. Now to stay steady over the next 4 days. I am with my little kids at home Thursday-Sunday and I find it much harder to keep on top of snacking/stess eating/drinking alcohol. Being in charge of 2 toddlers will do that to you I guess haha. Any tips and tricks for managing these (the snacking/stress eatng, not the toddlers haha) would be welcome!
11/13 - 61.5kg / 135.5lb - Happy to see this number, but historically I get really stuck right here (it's like 61.5kg on repeat for weeks) so I'll be happy to pass right on by…
11/14 - 61.8kg / 136.2lb
11/15 - 61.9kg / 136.4lb
11/16 - 61.6kg / 135.8lb - Been AWOL from logging over the weekend (which is part of my usual maintenance approach where I try to focus on protein, whole food and reasonable portions) and have mostly been mindful about my eating. One big snack attack and two meals out but balanced with some running and walking and got back on my mountain bike for the first time in aaaages.
Happy to finish the round under goal! See you in Round 315!

🎷 67 yrs young F, 5ft 4 Round 314 (my 244th).
Goals for every round;
- First and foremost, no feeding frenzies – I am not a shark or even a piranha!
- to weigh less at the end of the round than the start
- be happy because I feel that I have made the round count at the end
- to have a totally 10-day binge free round.
- Would like to lose a pound round.
I need to remain consistent - it does work! Good luck for success everyone.
Achieved goal weigh of 125lb in summer 2016 by losing 66lb and then gradually gained between 7 and 11 since then & didn't want to gain any more, it’s taken me 75 rounds to achieve target of 130 = back to maintenance!! But then I crept up again, so need to get back to around 135. A healthy lifestyle must be a permanent way of life.
Updated 20.08.24 – I met up with youngest DB, first time after his DP passed away at the way too early age of 46. DB lives a long way from us, we see him very infrequently & is very introvert, so not a sharer of info 😞. However, he finally opened up to me, it seems that his DPs bad health leading to heart failure followed by kidney, liver failure & then a massive stroke, was originally caused by heavy drinking. By the time he realised he was abusing his body and went teetotal, the damage was too late to reverse. He was on the list for a heart transplant, but his other organs gave up before one became available. This has made me think about how I am abusing my body when I have binges with way too much sugar, fat & salt. I know I am a food addict. I'm going to try to think about this when I am tempted to overindulge, I need to start respecting my body more and think about whether I want to be in the best health I can be. My body has served me so well for 67 years, it deserves to be given the best chance to keep serving me well & I've been really lucky that life has not dealt me a raw health deal, so I must not jeopardize that luck.
I am the driver in my life & not the passenger, I need to drive my life to a healthy life."Health is wealth".
11/6 140.8 (trend 141.3) – 8.34 miles walked. A 0.2 pound increase this round, onto the next!
EW Rnd 313 140.8
SW Rnd 314 140.2
11/7 140.2 (trend 141.1) 8.44 miles walked.
11/8 DNW - away for the weekend in the caravan. 7.45 miles walked yesterday.
11/9 DNW - 11.45 miles walked along the canal to Kinver, took in a Christmas Craft Fayre & walked back. A lovely autumnal day for a walk.
11/10 139.6 (trend 140.7) loving this number, going to really try hard not to sabotage it THIS time! Managed to get in a 5 mile walk yesterday morning before we travelled home. Just noticed - what on earth happened to my post yesterday? Put it right in this one!! Have a good Monday & week folks.
11/11 139.6 (trend 140.6) 9 miles walked yesterday.
11/12 139.2 (trend 140.4) 7.87 miles walked.
11/13 139.2 (trend 140.2) less than 4 miles walked yesterday and all around the shops; the rain was in for the day, so we took the opportunity to do some Christmas shopping.
11/14 139.2 (trend 140.1) 9.49 miles walked. Doubt that will be able to get out today due to Storm Claudia☹.
11/15 139.2 (trend 140) no structured walking, grocery shopping, housework, ironing & broke the back of the Christmas present wrapping.
11/16 139.2 (trend 139.9) again – no structured walking; forecast to rain all day, so we travelled 93 miles north to visit the Wallace & Gromit exhibition in Nick Parkes hometown of Preston. Very happy with myself this round, moved back into the 139’s (trend is there too today!), recognising that this 1.6 pound loss is due to consistency & no binge. Let’s see if I can lose another pound next round.
👍👍This is NOT A DIET. It’s a LIFESTYLE & I AM WHAT I EAT! 👍👍.

Thank you for your concern for me; we were so lucky that we did not bear the brunt of the storm, heavy persistent rain & strong winds were the worst that we endured, others in other regions didn't fair so lightly.

11/7 Ready to start this round! I remember R300 was one of my most successful rounds because I dedicated it to all the JGMTD long-term participants. I honestly want to dedicate this to @skyleen75 because she has been such an inspiration … And of course, I seem to do much better when I put someone else before me. 😜 LETS GO!
oh, and I laughed so hard last night with my friends - I’m on my way to chalking up some good fun. ✅ I’m adding this checkmark ✅ to track laughter and joy to my day because I need to make sure each day is filled to the brim!11/8 I am not any less committed this morning than I was at 6:15 PM last night. I had a perfect day until meeting family for dinner to celebrate my sister‘s birthday… Perfect nutrition (🏆) 🏋️♂️👣📖. I was planned and prepared… Until, one alcoholic beverage (oh just one), and a “small” taste of the best pasta my mouth has tasted in years… Oh what FAKE delight! That was it! It was over from that singular moment. At least I stuck to only one alcoholic beverage, but I ate the entire plate of pasta then, THEN…. enjoyed a very small piece of cheesecake. I’m not upset this morning… I’m even more committed as it proves that my self-discipline can disappear at any moment. POOF! GONE! I will consciously avoid any temptation for the remainder of #318 & #319. I know that moderation is key, but I’ve been on this journey long enough to know that I’ve been giving too much lip service and choosing to not buckle down and staying firm to my ultimate BHAG (decision). It starts with getting a grip on my thought patterns. ONWARD!
11/9 Stayed on nutrition plan… and, will be active today. Focusing on attitude adjustments.
11/10. Calories on target, macros off. Increase hydration today! Still not quite myself but journaling and challenging my thought patterns. Glad it’s Monday!
11/11 Zero fun yesterday. Slept most of the day and almost 10 hours last night so I guess I’m fighting something. Hydrated well. Tracked & ate @ maintenance . Not the best choices but limited portions. I do have a much more positive attitude after an unplanned “rest” day. Today? Im hopeful. We are experiencing that 🥶 spell so I doubt I’ll get much outdoor activity. Give me 🥵 HEAT over 🥶! And, 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 sincerest gratitude to our veterans!
11/12 Discipline & attitude slowly returning. Step count is down tho. Today - 🏆🤸🏼🎾🚶♀️💗👣✅ I reconfirmed my nutrition plan is spot on! Just need to continually set myself up for success & follow-thru. Keep the momentum flowing. #HSF #MindBodySoul
11/13 I had planned to go on an extended WV walk yesterday, but decided to visit with friends (✅) after tennis match. Nutrition🏆, attitude, mindset flowing well. Still struggling a wee-bit with time change….?! Today is planned. Note to self: The night out with my sister last Friday proved one evening can derail an entire round (for me) per the “scale”. My body (like many) super quick to gain (retain) & slow as molasses to remove. My “processes” are unique. Can be discouraging but it’s how God made me! Self-hug!!!! No whooshes for me - EVER! I’m super glad to know this. Knowledge helps. Years of tracking and data are valued. Know thyself! 😍 #HSF #MindBodySoul
11/14 on target all day AND enjoyed small piece of cheesecake after early dinner. That’s it. Looking forward to today.
11/15 sleep deprived, I forgot to weigh this morning because I woke up at midnight and was awake till 4 AM. When I finally got up, I went straight to hydrate & coffee and forgot about the scale. Terrific day yesterday. ✅ tons of laughter with a dear friend! We went out to an early dinner - one cocktail and two bites of dessert. A little over maintenance and macros were not in line (cocktail & dessert) I’m in a tennis tournament this weekend - will be active!
11/16 DNW sleep deprived & ate quite late. Super competitive tennis but came up short after 2 1/2 hrs. Such fun! More tennis today. Looking forward to next round. Hoping to start AGAIN @ 133.0.

Yesterday went the way it should. Yoga and floor exercise to start the day. Then, a long road trip with DW for a Dr. appointment which included lunch out. The food was so good and ample. Slowly undoing the weekend away at DD house.Heavy on our minds this week is the birthday party / anniversary party we are throwing for my parents. Not a lot of work, but still a bit stressful. They both turn 90 before the end of the year and they will celebrate their 70th anniversary in January. The highlight of the party will be when my parents play “twister!” (JUST KIDDING!!) We are holding the party at Dad’s nursing home. Looking forward to seeing some people I haven’t seen for a while.

Tons of yard work yesterday which counts as exercise+. I am watching YouTube videos about how to solve my Plantar Fasciitis. I looks like I need to focus on my whole leg and lower back, not just the bottom of my foot.Today is the birthday party for my folks. There will be cake.

Looks like I didn’t post on the 15th, even though I wrote it.Yesterday there was a lot of sugar! DW and I were exhausted after the party so we folded like a lawn chair and got fast food.
Lost the battle this round, but not the war. There are so many land mines… I need to walk more carefully. Key word “care.”

11/08 - 192.6/4,640/4 - I got the uptick I expected yesterday this morning. Hopefully tomorrow I will be back down. I get to go out and shovel this morning so that the front walk doesn’t get icy. I enjoyed watching the snow all day yesterday. Today I will be going out first to shovel then for a walk around the bock in the cold fresh air.
11/09 - 192.4/4,347/6 - was hoping for a bit more of a drop but life is what it is sometimes. I'm going out for lunch today with an old friend that I never seem to get together with. Looking at my goal to eat with purpose, I have not been doing that much lately. I need to think before I chew.
11/10 - 193.0/4,214/22 - yeeks!! not sure what happened!! Okay maybe I do know what happened. I am an emotional eater, Yesterday my dd was supposed to come home for a few days and I was really looking forward to seeing her. By lunch time I hadn’t heard from her so I knew that she wasn't coming, at 2 I finally heard from her and she said she couldn’t come up, the excuse didn’t sound right so I know it was really the boyfriend who didn’t want her to leave. I finished off the Halloween candy plus had caramel popcorn and sprite while watching a movie. Today is a new day and I am going to move forward from this. I have got to learn a new way of dealing with my emotions. I am getting better in that I'm down to only 1 day instead of a week but still.
11/11 - 192.6/3,840/5 - glad to see the slight loss, hoping to keep it that way. Today is Remembrance Day, I am going to take some time today to remember those that fought for our country.
11/12 - 192.6/7,277/27 - no change in weight but I did blow my step goal away. I took the time to walk to the grocery store instead of getting in my car. Today I am going to look for ways I can increase my steps.
11/13 - 192.4/2,985/4 - weight seems to be steady. My step count was not good at all. Just didn't feel good yesterday. Started with a headache early in the day. I ended up in bed by 7pm. Way too early but I needed it. Thankfully today is a new day and another chance to course correct.
11/14 - 191.4/3,818/9 - I like the drop, not happy with my step count. Why is it that in the morning I am full of determination to get moving, but later during the day I seem to forget and fall back into chillin. I might not have a weigh in tomorrow as I am taking the red eye across the country tonight. Going to be a long night, hoping I get some sleep.
11/15 -DNW/5,487/177 - flight was long, didn't get much sleep.
11/16 - 190.4/5,377/179 - yesterday was a long day. Didn't get much sleep on the plane, made it to the ceremony of life for my hubby's aunt, nice to see some people that I haven't seen in decades, kind of sad that it takes a death for that too happen. Saw my dad at the home, he has really aged. I am very glad that I made the trip. Made my goal for this round!!! Didn't think that I would but maybe not eating on the plane for 7 hours had something to do with it, let's wait until tomorrow and see.

good morning, late starting this challenge but woke up inspired and eager to get back on track. So hello everyone. I’m 67 🤪and lost 40 lbs during Covid and became vegan as well and also gave up alcohol, so I guess I could say Covid provided gave me a kickstart to look after my health. I’ve kept the weight off, up and down a few either way. I’d love to lose the last 20 lbs I never did.

11/7 133.5 Going to a neighbors for coffee Taking a loaf of bread I baked last night. Baking more today.
11/8 133.5 Great Greek yesterday - I ate about 1/3 of my side salad and 2 cubes of grilled chicken. Baked a beautiful loaf of sourdough (if I do say so myself.) Had a tiny “heel.”
11/9 133.5 yesterday we went to Jessie Ray’s. I had a little bit of beef brisket and hot link. Today we’re having Thanksgiving dinner with our part-time neighbors. I’m taking dinner rolls and green beans. I know there will be turkey and ham, stuffing, cranberries, and mashed potatoes. I was at least a quart low on water - it sounds like I’m a car
11/10 135.5 I’m okay with this. We ate later than we usually do and I know it will soon depart. I didn’t eat potatoes and there was no stuffing. No desserts!!! I did have 2 glasses of red wine.

11/14 230.8 Yet another crazy week that’s gotten away from me. Monday promised severe snow storms. We got very little, but I was ready. Wednesday is now G-Ma and Julian day as I get to take him to his Karate class. He’s got his green belt and just got another stripe on it. Thursday is a blur and today I’m babysitting at my son and DILs house. So let me get this off my chest as I would never say anything to them… André does not have his own bed. Well he does but it’s a queen size waiting on him to turn 5. They have the concept of the “family “ bed. The same was kind of true with Julian, but he did have a crib that he never slept in. While this idea is obviously ok for some…the kid never learns to go to sleep on his own. I just had André cry in my arms for 45 minutes until he wore himself out. Now I’m sitting in the dark in their bedroom???? Because he’s in the middle of a queen size bed with no safety mechanisms. Im sitting in a little rocking chair that I’m hoping I don’t break. Ok, vent over! On another note, Lola is 12.6 pounds!!! She finished all her shots today so we are safe to venture out for a walk. Well sort of..apparently there are lots of hawks in our area! AND my sister finally has a date and has been cleared for surgery! It will be Tuesday 11/18.
11/15 DNW Today promises temps in the 60's, possibly even 70's. That warrants LOTS of outside time today because the COLD is coming!
11/16 230.4 ~ Since Lola finished her shots, we were able to go for our first neighborhood walk. She did well. My previous puggle used to mark every tree we passed by pooping…she didn't do that. She sniffed a lot and our treadmill walks actually encouraged her to "keep walking". Next round is busy + ends with Thanksgiving which actually is perfect timing.….then time to refocus (again).@AR10at50 ~ I had an inclination for Lasagna too, I made a ground turkey lasagna with lots of veggies (zucchini, spinach, mushrooms, broccoli). It was good.
@fermatamb7212 ~ I agree, I'd be afraid I'd roller over on top of the kid or I'd sleep so lightly I would not be refreshed.
@deepwoodslady ~ anxiously waiting… I hope you see that new decade today!
@Skyleen75 ~ Welcome back (are you back or just checking in) and you'll tackle those 5 in no time. You HAD to have the full experience of the culture. Great picture of your family, and that food does look amazing!
@majork29 ~ 5 hours is significant. Safe travels. Unfortunately, it does take a death sometimes for people to reunite.
Have a great Sunday!

Apparently a lot of us have “getorganizeditis,” judging by @Skyleen75 and @_JeffreyD_ and @majork29 and no doubt more people I’ve missed. Is it the weather? 🤣 I too often get distracted from the real task by “necessary” pre-tasks. This is actually a common topic among writers and other creative people—can’t start until the towels are refolded and stacked by color and the spice cabinet is alphabetized. But—and I was going to report this before I read this thread!—yesterday I did a thing. I had two bins of “skinny clothes” in my closet—clothes that fit me when I was 50 pounds smaller. And of course they taunted me every time I opened the doors. So I went through them one by one and decided there was nothing there that held much interest anymore. They’re boxed and in the car for delivery to a resale shop—today, before I change my mind. Someone may as well wear them before they go too much farther out of fashion. Today I’m getting winter duds out of storage and packing up summer clothes to store, and I’m going to go through those, too, before I pack them away. I have way too many “I can wear it in the garden” clothes that I should rip into rags! Anyway, this is the sort of job that I hate to start, but am happy to have done, and I always feel lighter afterward. I need to do this with my yarn stash, and give a few I’ll never use to someone who will. What does that have to do with losing weight? Quite a lot, I think, for me. I seem to resist junk food and snacks better when my space is tidied up.11/08 — 197.7
Finally! I’ve eaten responsibly the past few days, and it’s nice to see a little progress.11/09 — 198
Shoot. Sometimes I wonder about the trend calculations, and this time I think yesterday was likely a fluke. Whatever, I’m trending downward. We got our first snow last night, looks like about 2 inches. Pretty, but I’m not ready! It won’t stick long, though. We did our last garden cleanup yesterday, so good timing. Today I’m going to make veggie soup and knit.11/10 — 198

11/7: 175 😊
11/8: 173.9 🫢📉Unexpected loss. I was sooo hungry last night ALL evening! I didn’t have protein in my dinner, so go figure. So I munched on grapes, etc…healthy stuff. I had to help my mom a lot, so I got no exercise. I was expecting to weigh heavier. 🤷♀️Go figure! Today I’m hoping to get a bunch of stuff done and maybe some exercise. 🤞
11/9: 173.0 🤯📉Amazing! Again, unexpected! I did exercise an hour yesterday. We had an early dinner. 🤷♀️
11/10: 172.4 😊📉Exciting after such a painfully slow loss the past two months. I am learning patience—a hard lesson in weight loss. Today is lesson day, so busy, busy, busy. We always clean the house before my first lesson, so I’ll have some activity there.
Forgot to say yesterday that I made a new dish! I’m getting ready to learn some vegetarian dishes for my DC#1 and their GF come for a visit at Christmas. I made Vegetarian Butternut Squash Chili with Avocado. We weren’t confident that we would like it or even feel full (with no meat), but it was truly good and filling! Tonight we had it again. The only problem was that I mixed the spice bottles up and put too much Chipotle Chili Pepper in. Wow! Very hot. After reading what to do to calm down the hot spiciness of the dish, we suffered and split a cupcake. Apparently sugar helps. 🤣 I did add more other ingredients, as well fat free plain yogurt and tortilla chips as toppings. All of that helped…especially the cupcake…and the Tums!
11/11: 174.1 😳📈Well, I think I may have had quite a bit of sodium last night??? Tonight, we have dinner at an Italian restaurant. Yikes! We will actually have three days in a row of eating out. Fun times!
11/12: 173.6 😊📉Yesterday was a good day. I was expecting a gain this morning after last night’s meal, even though I exercised an hour yesterday and had a large surplus of calories left. So I’ll take this. I’m taking a friend to an appointment and out to lunch, in addition to dinner out with friends tonight. Don’t know if I’ll get any exercise. Tomorrow will be interesting.
11/13: 174.4 📈😕
11/14: 173.0 📉Back on track! 🙌No more crazy eating out for a while. Exercised about an hour yesterday. I had my physical yesterday and all of my results are in the green range except for LDL…which went down 15 point from last year! 🎉It still needs to come down some more, but I’m on my way to Healthy Land! Woo hoo!!! No commitments today, so it’s catch-up time at home.
11/15: 172.9 📉😊One more day before the round ends. Here’s to hoping I stay where I am weight-wise. No exercise yesterday. Just controlled eating and lots of water. Not sure about today either.
11/16: 171.8 📉😊Good ending to the round. Hoping to get some exercise today. Last night, I made New England Clam Chowder…inspired by our recent trip to Cape Cod. 🍜 It was a winner and will go into our winter rotation!
@Skyleen75 Love hearing about your trip so much! Also love the pic! Keep sharing!!!🫶
@itladyee You mentioned treadmill walks with Lola. Umm…does she walk with you on the treadmill? If so, could we please have a picture? If not, I’m conjuring one in my imagination. 🤣
@majork29 Traveling is so exhausting! And eating while traveling, going through airports, sitting on planes, is just crazy! Love that you are happy with your trip so far. ✈️
@_JeffreyD_ ”Folded like a lawn chair.” 🤣 This is now permanently added to my repertoire of idioms. (PS I’m disappointed not to find a lawn chair emoji.)

Just Give Me 10 Days – Round 314
Nov 7 - 16, 202564 year old female, 5’5”. I am married, semi-nomadic (we live in three states, Mass, Maine, Florida).
SW: 131.6
11/7 – 130.2 Did not expect a down as I did not track well yesterday. Did do the 6.5 mile walk, my first walk in months. Definitely feeling some pain, but that happens with jumping in fast.
11/8 – 131.0 Tracking not happening, but I again got in a walk, 4.5 miles. If I can re-establish exercise this round, that would be wonderful.
11/9 – DNW
11/10 – DNW
11/11 – 131.4 I dreamt that I got up to 138. I think that is a clue that I need to get back together. The one thing I am doing well is I am walking almost every day. Today, at little over 5.5 miles before posting here. Yesterday 5 miles, and the day before I walked with hubby so 1.75. Today will be a day of no eating out, or entertaining, or eating leftovers. I should be able to do ONE well tracked day.
11/12 – 130.2 Choices were better yesterday, though not entered into my tracker. The negative to all the walking I am suddenly doing, I am in pain 24/7. Sad because that did not used to be the case, and it just tells me the fitness I have lost and need to get back.
11/13 – 130.6 No walking yesterday. Food choices decent, but not tracked.
11/14 – 131.6 Jumps in weight that day after pasta has been standard for me. Walked 6.5 miles, ate “ok”, but not tracked. Tonight is out for pizza with friends.
11/15 – 131.2 Pizza did not help with any post-pasta decline. Walked 5.5 miles. I fly north on Tuesday, until the new year. I am hoping that I am at least re-establishing daily exercise.
11/16 – 131.2 Not a great number, but not higher than I started! :)3 -
thanks @itladyee
@fermatamb7212 Hubby and I noticed the pasta and scale relationship during our WW years. My weigh-in was on Wed, and his on Friday. So at a minimum tues and thurs became banned from pasta nights. :P

Jane 50+ 5'5
Starting Weight 173.3 lbs.
End Round 311: 168.9
End Round 312: 166.0
End Round 313: 163.1
Goal Weight: 136 lbs.
11/7: 162.2 I'm mentally so ready to be in the 159.x range, now let's see if my body will cooperate!
11/8: 162.0 Went out for Mexican food last night, so really happy to see a drop! Was mindful of my choices and quantities, just had a couple chips with queso, a skinny margarita, and then portioned off a much smaller serving of steak fajitas, rice, and beans without the tortillas. I probably can get 3 more serving of the fajitas as leftovers! Happy to have safely navigated one of my favorite places without resorting back to old habits of overindulging!
11/9: 161.8 Beyond exhausted. Today is my only "real" off day of the week and I loaded it with a planned brunch with friends and then to race home to clean my house before my daughter's music lesson in the afternoon. Woke up and canceled both! Then DoorDashed Starbucks as a reward and am still very happily in bed. My Starbucks order fits into my allotted breakfast calories, so no derailment there. I'm staying in PJs all day and will eventually clean my house (but on a relaxed timeline - not in a rush) and will make family dinner tonight but definitely sending my husband on the grocery run. I have a big day at work tomorrow and this relaxing reset is needed.
11/10: DNW Up way too early before my normal weigh in time, so skipped it but tracked and was in a deficit.
11/11: 161.0 How are we halfway through this round, time is flying!! Today is a difficult calorie day to navigate, out with friends this evening, will just try to do the best I can, but it's a wine and cheese tasting, so making smart choices isn't an option, so will just have to focus on portion control.
11/12 DNW Was up and out the door much to early, so did not weigh in. Had a great time at the wine & cheese event, they only give super small tastes of the cheeses, which helped with not overindulging food wise, but definitely overindulged a little on the wine.
11/13: 160.2 So close to my 1st weight goal! Making test cakes today comparing 2 recipes for friend for next week, will only have a bite to see which is best, what tweaks are needed. I love to bake but I don't really care about eating sweets, so there won't really be any temptation to go overboard in the taste tasting.
11/14: 160.4 Normal body weight fluctuations from different weigh-in time
11/15: 160.2
11/16: 159.7 Made my goal for this round! But think it likely won't "stick" until during the next round. I am hitting my goals every day, but my weight does bounce a little up & down before I count it as a real loss. See you next round!
