Pittsburgh 5k by May (currently a non runner)
Pittsburgh half marathon by May 2015

Also and this one is important to me, to go on any ride and not worry if I'll fit. It's just the worst feeling in the world going to theme parks and spending the entire time worrying that their going to say sorry your to fat to ride this ride. (It happened once, so I choose rides carefully now and pretend I'm to scared to go on the ones I don't think I'll fit in.)

I have many actually, most health related. But I've been toying with "the one that got away". Back many decades ago I was a Boy Scout. One summer I went to scout camp and we were scheduled to do 5, 10, 17, and 20 mile hikes. I had no problem at 5 and though my feet (no arches) ached at 10 it really wasn't bad. But 17 just about killed me and I skipped the 20 mile hike. On my short list of regrets sits that I didn't make that 20 mile hike, and I've decided it has to come off the list!

So as a pre-teen I couldn't hike 20 miles but now I want to do it in my mid to late 50s. It's a stretch, but those are the best kind of goals.

At my lowest weight I was able to fit into size 10 (Australian Sizing, so size 6? US sizing?) I would love to be anywhere between a 10-12 and be toned enough so that I have a body fat% under 20%. I have felt weak for so long because of injuries, so ideally I would just like to feel physically strong and that I'm doing everything I can to lessen the impact my injuries have on my life.

After 5 kids I have no desire to be in a bikini LOL but being able to buy clothes off the rack and know that they will look nice and not like a stuffed sausage would be great.

First, to fit into my smaller jeans.
Next, to fit into a bunch of clothes I got from a friend, currently two sizes too small.
Last, to love the way I look in photos and to set a great example for my kids as a balanced and healthy person. (They are currently 16 months (twins) and their admiration is based entirely on mood, so I have time to get there.)
  • Run a half-marathon. Do 10 unassisted pull-ups in a set. Look good naked.

Built some muscle, as I'm currently looking rather scrawny. I'm working towards a bulk this fall/winter.

Squat 1x BW, SLDL 1.5x BW. I'm currently at 0.56 and 0.93 x BW for these exercises, so I'm almost at my 1x BW goal for SLDL.

Great topic - and some great replies!

To be healthy, fit, and strong for myself and for my family. Not one but about a million NSGs, but ultimately about way more than the scale, so I'm going with it.

To be pain-free (or at least in less pain). I am sort of oldish. lol

To have a progressive exercise program including both cardio and lifting.

To be comfortable in my body again, in any chair or booth again, in my jeans again, in my life again...

To have fewer clothes in my closet, but to love the ones that are left.

    I have a few:

    1) Reduce my blood pressure back to a normal range! So far its dropping! :)
    2) To complete a 5K without having to stop and walk.
    3) To be able to cross my legs comfortably, at this point I have to practically hold my leg to keep it there!
    4) To have my kids see me get healthy and want to join (so far they have done this as they are joining me in the couch to 5K program, week 2 this week and so far they have said only good things about wanting to continue).
    5) Be able to shop with my soon-to-be-stepdaughter in NON-PLUS SIZE shops/sections!
    6) I'd love to be able to wear a size 12 or even 10. I haven't been below that since college, so I don't know if I could or not now that I'm almost 40, lol, but that's what I'd LIKE.
    7) To comfortably wear jeans that DO NOT have stretch in them or elastic waists to be COMFORTABLE.
    8) I love fashion, but can't wear most of the stuff because of my belly making me look pregnant when I'm not, so to be able to wear the stuff I like.
    9) Be able to wear a dress without wearing spanx crap underneath. ;)
    10) To see my collarbones again, I haven't seen them since 1996! lol

Told you I have a few! lol
