    115 calories per rasher? I don't really consider that low in calories...I miss bacon. It's just not something I can justify right now. Maybe once I hit maintenance :)

    Nope, I buy the short cut bacon. 100gm's is 222 calories, and 100gm is a lot!

    Here is something my husband wants to make

    Weave thick slice bacon cover with crumbled sausage and cooked bacon pieces with bbq sauce....roll into a log and cook.

    When done slice like cookies...

    When my neighbor made this, 5 of us finished it off in a couple of minutes. It was taste bud overload! :love:

    Someone posted something I never thought about - a bacon tomato lettuce sandwich on bread with some mayo really doesn't have that many calories. So its a delicioius sandwich that is really great for us here on MFP!

    I LOVE IT ... Though, I opt for the nitrate free stuff ... There are few things more delicious than pork fat ... Sadly, todays pork is a bit TOO lean for my liking ...

    My take is bacon is made of pork and that is it. There is no such thing as turkey or beef bacon. I am not sure what you bought but you need to take it back and get the real stuff because you have been bamboozled.

    If I could eat bacon everyday I would. I just need variety,

    Ditto, the other stuff is just meat/other alternative shaped like bacon. Knockoff's for those who say they can't eat bacon.

    The name of the game is... everything in moderation!
