Nope. I'm the type that if I say I absolutely can't have something, I'll want it more than ever. So if I let myself have a handful of snack-sized candies on Halloween, I'll probably be satisfied. If I say no sugar, I'll probably be pouring a cup full into my coffee in order to imitate a candy buzz :)

I vow not to eat any food with CANDY in the name.

    CANDY corn - NO!
    Cotton CANDY - NO!
    Snickers - YES!
    Almond Joy - YES!
Reese's Peanut Butter Cups - YES!
    York Peppermint Patties - YES!
    M&M's - YES!
    Hershey Kisses - YES!
    Sour Patch Kids - YES!
    Gummy Worms - YES!
    etc.
LOL. I'm definitely going by this.

Feel free to give me all your extra candy. I will find a way to fit it into my calorie and macro targets

I can completely relate. Halloween can be downright scary for anyone with a healthy eating lifestyle, and not because of the ghosts and zombies running around. I ACCEPT YOUR CHALLENGE! :)

I'm in! I have a candy corn addiction, LOL, and have sworn off it until 10/31 this year, and I'm not buying it when it goes on sale after Halloween either! :)

I'm going to not BUY any candy this Halloween. If it isn't in my house or my car or my purse, then it is awfully hard to binge!
But if someone offers it to me, I just might accept a piece... or two ;P A life with no chocolate sounds absolutely miserable! hehe

Easy for me. Cereal is my crack anyway, with peanut butter running a close second.
However, if I liked sweets that much NO WAY would I give them up. Two years of excessive deprivation brought me to this state...not going back there.
I'd just workout more, forego one or two other foods and try not to sweat it.

Nope - already bought it for the trick-or-treaters (and for us - all chocolate!!). Whatever is leftover (yeah, leftover!) a couple days later gets tossed into a ziploc and stashed in the freezer - then it goes into the plastic eggs at Easter! :drinker:
