Ladies, thanks so much for sharing your before and afters. They're such a great motivator. I haven't been sticking with my plan for a couple of months now for a couple of different reasons, but I'm ready to get back to it now. It can be a challenge to get back into the swing of things but seeing threads like this is really so helpful. I'm gonna go pump some iron!

This gives me hope. I am actually bothered more by my arm fat than any other fat on my body other than my face. I hate how flabby my upper arms are.
I can relate to this sooooo much...it's amazing how one (or two) spots can drive a person crazy!
Mine are getting worse as I lose weight b/c it's flabby skin, hanging...with less fat in them...I would love to have the
skin removed but then I am left with big scars...not sure which is worse?0 -
Okay, now that i was able to get on a computer instead of my phone, here are my arms before and after. I also was worried that they'd never get smaller.
This comparison is exactly what I want! This is inspiring to me and I really needed this today! You are amazing!!0 -

I have no pics..but I went from 17.5 inch arms down to 15.5 inch arms after losing 45lbs. However, if i tighten up the tape to get to the muscle, I would have 14 inch arms. That flab is here to stay for me. I still have another 25 to 30 lbs i would like to lose, but I don't think my arms will ever recover. I have stretch marks all over the underside. To put it into perspective, I can wear medium to small tank tops, but have to have large or xl shirts to fit my arms. Thankfully mens clothing are cut bigger in the arms, so I can wear a M mens long sleeved t or sweater, and the fit through the body is better then the womens xl shirts and large shirts.0

This is such a cool before and after! I love this!0 -
Awesome job to all of you ladies. The arms can definitely be a huge problem area. I have been lucky enough to get mine to shrink and tone. It can be done!0

bump thanks for posting this!0

Oh my goodness. You look amazing. Please share what you did to get your nice toned arms.0 -
Thanks for asking this. This is a concern for me also. My arms are smaller then they were when I started. They still have a way to go. I do lift weights. I think this helps. The pictures of others are encouraging.0

Beaches... Most of it was just from lowering my body fat by losing the weight. I do lift my son and do reps with him but maybe only 20 a day. I know that sounds funny but I totally use him as a weight lol.0

Our skin has an amazing ability to adapt. However, this will decrease with age. Everyone's mileage may vary. Good luck OP!0

Wow you ladies are majorly inspirational! My arms are not my problem area, they're actually fairly small but still big if that makes sense. Anyway I was worried they'd be the place where I won't lose anything!0

Bump....these pics are very motivational.0

I had lost 83 pounds over 2 years. I have stretch marks on my inner arms and my stomach. Sadly, once the skin is stretched out it doesn't bounce back. It will a little, but you will still have sagging skin. I think the only solution is getting the skin removed, but then you're left with a huge scar. I can't decide which is worse. These before and after photos are incredible. Well done, all of you!! My arms are the one part of my body I struggle with in regards to having self confidence. The rest of my body being the size it is can be frustrating, but I never feel self-conscious over it to the same extent. My arms have always been a bit on the bigger side, even when I was healthy, but as I've gained weight they only became worse. I know over time they will shrink back (along with the rest of me), but I worry that I will have saggy arms when I reach my goal weight. I'll definitely add more weights to my routine seeing how it's helped others so much!
For you MFPers who have lost inches in your arms, do any of you have stretch marks? Specifically on your inner arms? From basically my armpit to about 4-5" From elbow I have them. Most are faded now, but I am concerned about the skin becoming wrinkly. I have some major stretch marks on my belly from pregnancy and when I'm thinner I have loose wrinkly skin there. However, less people are going to see my belly than my arms!0 -
I am loving these arm before and afters!
Even when I was very slim in my teens and 20s my upper arms were out of proportion to the rest of me, I have always hated my upper arms. I have often had to buy a bigger shirt or jacket to fit them in.
Now I have some hope that, with exercise (I do dumbell flies for my arms, pecs amd shoulders) they might end up as toned and lovely as some of these. Thanks for the photos :flowerforyou:0
