I'm liking where this is going...
  • I have always been a fan of the right tattoo in the right place... I currently have 3 (Crown in my Neck, Theatre Masks on my Wrist and a really big mechanical heart with wings and a chained key on my Hip) - not the smallest, but I love them to bits... This is just a way for some people to express themselves, and most of us do it really well. You get some people who go a little overboard and cover every inch of themselves - which to me is not very attractive, but covering a leg or a arm looks really good.

I too am planning my next masterpiece - putting my wedding date and my husband to be's signature on my collarbone. :)

That's freaking awesome! The black light ink tat on the back of my neck is my mother's signature.

i have an ohm combined with a lotus flower, it represents my believe that there will eventually ocme something good out of everythin, if not else it will help us grow in some way we do not know yet.

the other one is a small one, and represents the child that i had a MC with.

now we are doin a dreamcatcher on my ribs, pretty big, and itll be combined with words that kinds...tell what i am / what i believe in.

so in love :blushing: table or counter top? or both?
  • That sounds good! Sorry about your MC ...

I got my crown as a 21st present - always been a little princess...
My Theatre masks was done with my Mom when she got Diagnosed with Cancer for the seconds time - to represent the good and bad in life - she survived :) (so we basically have the same tat on the same place and got them together)
And my hip was something I've been designing for many years and finally one day decided to do something about this picture... and voila...

    :)

Tattoos are so trashy. I like to keep my temple pure.

Says the woman hiking up her skirt.

    that's a woman? :noway:

Yes, I am very much a woman. :drinker:
  • Perfect example; Left= hot, Right = disgusting.

  • I love tattoos :) I've got four myself, all meaning something to me.
My own personal rule is never get a tattoo that I won't be able to hide on my wedding day, but that's just my opinion - each to their own! :D

How perfect is it that the OP misspelled Tattoo.

I've seen a few that look ok, but that is far and few between. For the most part they look awful.
  • Love good ones. Hate flash art even though my 18 year old self got some. It will be covered. This is my fave. An ambigram of my daughters' names. Kali and Emma. It is on my left arm.

^^ That is frickin' AWESOME!!!!
  • it's one of my life's goals to be on the cover of a tattoo magazine.

And i'm pretty sure I will someday :)

    this is AWESOME!!

I don't mind some classy ones here and there, but the ones with full arms, neck back, chest is just disgusting and not to mention it looks retarded.

Perfect example; Left= hot, Right = disgusting.

Oh please, both of those are so Photoshopped she doesn't even look like a real woman.

Love them! I have my grandpa's name, Sonny, on my inner ankle and the Ford Mustang emblem on my lower back. I'm revamping the Sonny tattoo very soon and my next tattoo is a rather long quote going somewhere either my back or possibly my thigh if I can figure out a way to make it look "right".

At the time I didn't care about the stigma associated with lower back tattoos and honestly I still don't but figuring out placement for future tattoos on my back is a pain now because of the Mustang.

Well, if they are trashy then that makes me trash. I have 4 currently and planning my 5th. All have meaning to my life and I love them and do not regret any of them!
