MFP has taught me -
1. I don't have to feel 'hangry' or miserable while losing weight
2. I do feel better, sleep better and have more energy from exercise and not eating crap
3. Plateauing just means I need to adjust a few things
4. Losing weight is possible, if you hold yourself accountable
5. MFP is a great tool, if used properly
On a separate note from MFP: I can't do this on my own. Support of friends and family, and giving the situation to God makes all the difference.

I'm not alone in this journey. Most of us share common goals and desires.
Yeah, this too.
When I was 300+ or even 262 and starting MFP, I felt like I had nothing in common with average to smallish sized (let's say 150 lb and below) women who were eating healthier, trying to lose a few pounds, etc. I also kind of assumed that all women that size or smaller were really happy with their bodies and not even THINKING about their flaws very much or comparing themselves to others.
So wrong!! haha0 -
- Cauliflower can be substituted for ANYTHING.
- Waffles are not actually blue.
- Diet soda won't kill me, but the aspartame may or may not give me a toomah.
-Lifting won't make me bulky
-Gifs exists for every situation in life.

What you do every day means so much more than the few days you do too much or too little. Consistency is how water moves mountains...apparently water knows best.0
