What is the most effective weight loss/ metabolism booster cleanse? I have a regimented diet and excerise plan but would like to try a cleanse out for the experience.

8 cans a day of Red Bull would do it.0

Taco Bell is usually pretty good. I've heard White Castle has some good ones too. Tainted seafood has really worked for me a few times.0

None, just eat at a reasonable calorie deficit and you will lose weight. Cleanses are pointless.
Although....I did do the *undercooked store-bought sausage* cleanse once. Definitely felt cleaned out after that one. =P0 -

On the seafood note... gas station sushi should do the trick.0

A friend of mine swears by this woman's blog and did her cleanse she wrote about here:

You might have to scroll down a bit to find it.0 -

Joking aside, "cleanses" and "detoxes" don't do anything beneficial. The diet industry makes millions off suckers who buy into their fraudulent hocus-pocus. The only place they make you lose weight is in your wallet. Here's a good read for more info:

A few years ago my roommate made a delicious, all organic, vegan dish. She did not wash the produce first because "it's organic, there's no nasty chemicals on there to wash off." Apparently she did not know how organic food is fertilized, or didn't think about other people's nasty hands at the grocery store.
I lost 6 pounds that night. I don't recommend that particular cleanse...but it was effective.0 -
I would be inclined to let my kidney's and liver do what they are designed to do, but that's just me....... Best of Luck0

There's no need to cleanse. Your body detoxes itself. When people do cleanses they get angry, feel hungry etc and when it's done they gain weight, The only weight that is lost is water weight not fat. There's really no point.0

Why would you want to cleanse? Are you having medical issues? Constipation? IBS? Honestly, unless you're having a situation like that (which should probably be addressed by your doctor) a cleanse isn't really necessary.0

Well, there's always backdoor.
It's safe, natural, and at least enjoyable
*OP, I seriously wouldn't suggest a cleanse.....our bodies don't need it

I personally feel cleansed when I'm hydrated.0

You need to be more specific. There are colon cleanses or cellular cleanses... Among others I am sure..
I practice a 5:2 meal plan and use a cellular cleanse on those two low calorie days.
Best advice, Google to see what cleanse type you are looking for. Then comeback for which products to use.0 -
Going to try to avoid snark, because the recent popularity of cleanses drives me up the wall and is way too reminiscent of disordered eating... feeling that the food and subsequent natural waste in one's body is "unclean" and must be flushed, believing that one can "detox" despite the fact that one's organs do this very efficiently every day, the need to "kickstart" one's metabolism (how does a cleanse achieve this?)... These feelings are the result of a disordered relationship with food and a lack of understanding or appreciation of the very sophisticated processes of the human body.
Cleanses prey on frustrated dieters who want quick results, which they will see when they drop the first few pounds of water weight. Afterward the results will mainly be loss of lean body mass combined with fatigue, and ultimately likely gaining back the lost weight after returning to normal eating patterns. I cannot discourage you enough from doing a cleanse. Please save your money.0 -
I prefer Dove body wash and a poufy sponge thingy (not sure what you call those). My husband likes to use a bar of Irish Spring.
There are lot of choices out there, just pick one that smells good to you.0 -

I believe the term you are looking for is Loofa0 -
Personally I'm a fan of Bath & Body Works men's line, but I've heard Dial works pretty well, too.0

Ahh. See, I thought this was a loofa:
I didn't realize that this was also a loofa:
But OP, either kind of loofa should still be effective for your cleansing.0 -

The other day I shared with my FL on my wall that I had cornbread muffins, coffee, cuties oranges, a huge salad, orange juice and bran flakes all on the same day. The evenings events were momentous to say the least. I can't imagine a more cleansed situation.0

*cough cough* the sarcasm...so palpable...i would hate to be a newbie on here. the 5:2 diet works well for many people and it sort of incorporates "cleansing" and much less scoffing0
