i remember reading somewhere that men tend to lie about height (if they are below 5'10) and their age and women tend to lie about weight and age. also the same article said that the for shorter guys who lie about their height, 5'10 was the most common fib and any guy reporting his height as over 5'10 it was more than likely true
Since apparently I've got nothing better to do, I've tracked down the article. It claims that everyone lies about their height and it's pretty convincing:

My husband is an inch shorter than me. I'm 5'9. I don't really care what height a man is...just as long as he's a decent guy.

    So true.
  • 5'8 or less I won't date, but then again I am 5'10 1/2 and I like to wear heels....sorry I've tried dating shorter, it NEVER works.

Well I'm 5'2" so any shorter than that I probably won't be attracted to (I won't say never though). I feel very uncomfortable around anyone (male or female) shorter than me, since it rarely happens lol.

I am 5'0", so that's an almost completely inapplicable question for me.

But seriously. Anything shorter than me. Wait, I take than back because I have some pretty huge heels, so a guy needs to be at LEAST 4 inches taller. Based on my height I don't think that's an unreasonable criterion.

i'll have to look for the one i read (i dont think it wa OKC0 but it says about the same thing.

and i think that's pretty funny about shorter women doing better. IRL i do find lots of taller men who are pretty much looking for spinners

LOL!!!, apparently it comes to much more. I just want someone to treat me the way I deserve, no BS, no games. Not like a queen, just like someone who matters in their life.

Funny, at 5'0 I always tended to seek out the short guys. First husband was 5'8, not short to me but, and my husband now is 5'1. And my favorite pc of eye candy at the gym is probably 5'0. LOL! Yeah, I like the shorty's

2+ inches taller than me. I wear heels a lot and would not want to be taller than them. I am 5' 3"

Yeah, threads like this do wonders for a short guy's self esteem (5'4" here).
