    Nothing good ever came from a cat. horrible sneaky self centred creatures

    I have recently become a cat owner, and I am definitely not a cat person. But it's freezing outside, and her owners are irresponsible drug addicts who don't care for her properly. Also, she is a sweetheart who acts more like a dog than a cat, and my dog loves her. This is my life now. :smile:

    Our old cat was more dog-like. She would come running when we pulled into the driveway and put her paws upon the door of the car. She'd also come when called and she'd follow my husband around the yard when he was doing work, lay down in the sun and take a nap next to him and then follow him around some more.

    We called her our "P*ssydog"

    That's cool!

    I have a cat to go along with my dog. I don't let the cat out though, she's tiny, and thar be coyotes. Little Eva... she wouldn't realize she's tiny, particularly when she tees off like Mayweather on the dog.

    Husky owner here (3 actually), furry b@#%#$%$! AND, they can't hold their licker!!! But, I love my fur-babies, needy or not, I love them!

    Yep got me there. I had a schnauzer in my Psychology understudy... He beat me every exam... and wouldn't you believe it when we were up against eachother for promotion, he got that too... clearly the superior species! bahaha... but realistically a dog killed my child, so yeah. I'm entitled to my feelings on them. You can enjoy your fur babies all you want, does it make you a worse person? No... and Me not loving them doesn't make me any different than you. Keep that in perspective and have yourself a good day!

    Honestly, It blew my mind that grown adults could not accept a different opinion. All I had to say was I hate dogs and 20+ people decided to personally attack me. They didn't ask why (not that they had too), they just assumed I was dumb, a "see you next tuesday", rude, a troll, a bad parent etc etc
    Very interesting to say the least...

    But...then why didn't you just say that in the first place? :huh: Would have avoided a whole lot of time wasted arguing on the internet. You could have done something so much more productive..

    Personally, I can't trust someone who doesn't like dogs at least a little. It just goes against human nature.

    I don't have kids....but I'm still ok with being around them for short periods and especially when they're in "cute" mode. Dogs are cute a LOT...how can anyone not like that??

    See the collie in my profile photo. Somebody threw her away 7 years ago, which was lucky for me because I was able to adopt her from the collie rescue group that found her starving and matted and saved her life.

    She needs me and I need her, especially since my husband passed away. She is truly my best friend... gentle, smart, loyal, loves all people, all dogs, all cats. She also comes to work with me and has perfect manners in the office. Everybody loves her. Dogs are wonderful companions.

    I love all pets but this cracks me up! I currently have 3 dogs and 3 cats. Kids, I love kids too. I'm just happy like that. :laugh:

    We obtained our German Shepherd almost two years ago when someone abandoned him at the end of our road the day before a snow storm. It took me over an hour to get him into my car and it was game over after that. :laugh: We even went out in the snow storm just to get him some food, treats and toys. Love the crap out of him. He cracks me up all the time. He's spoiled as all get out but that's ok.

    He's my baby boy. I'm actually glad he was abandoned on our road. He's so much better off.

    He LOVES to be outside no matter what the weather. We fenced off an acre of property and plan to fence off more for him and he sulks when he can't be outside.

    Winter is his favorite season. He practically pees himself when he wakes up and sees snow.
