Even if it's just a one-year subscription to the jelly of the month club, who gets them and who doesn't ?

Edited to include my bonus...$100 that they turn around and put on my W-2 to make sure I pay tax on it, so....yeah....

I get nothing, and I'll like it...ok, I don't like it, but I work for the State of Wisconsin and apparently the tax payers don't want to pay me a bonus, go figure!

what's that?!?!? I think it is great that all of the salesmen that hit their numbers get them but us in Operations (the ones making sure the customers get their products and salesmen hit their numbers) don't get anything

It's the gift that keeps on giving the whole year.

I do. Smallish amount of "cash" (check form).

That has been the norm at most of my jobs, minus the bigger retail stores I worked at during high school & college, most of which gave no type of bonus at all.

    I get a bonus.
But 20% of it went to federal taxes.
And overall I get 52.3% of my bonus.

in to see who actually gets them in this day and age. I thought the bonus was we get to keep our jobs.

Mindblown...people getting bonuses. Those of you who are getting or are giving bonuses what type of industry do you work in?

Yeah, same here. Mine was small enough that I don't even really care - but it does kind of suck to get less than the full bonus amount due to taxes.
