What yummy food is worth being obese for?

:drinker: This holiday season has brought me to bad habits of eating sugary things. Emotions are a big part of this. I just want to keep repeating this question to myself, "What food I want/crave is worth being obese for?" --So when I see fudge, cookies, pie etc. how long am I willing to give into them? How long do I want to remain obese?

Sugar is tricky like that but remember nothing is worth your health and happiness.

Except for beer right? Beer makes everyone say I look good too even if I am fat. At least till the next morning.

    Beer

    Ice cream

    Cookies

    Bacon

    Sticky Toffee Pudding

    Pork, generally.

Eh I guess not "worth" being obese for... but makes it damn tempting.

Personally, I enjoy the looks on people's faces when I explain why sugar is actually healthy in proper portions.

Chorizo, right? And cheese. And my momma's apple dumplings. I'd stay fat for those but she won't make me a pan of them just for me, lol.

but as far as your question goes....

the answer is fettuccine alfredo with cheesy garlic bread and fried mozzerella-stuffed rice balls.

  • Thanks gang, I've got some great ideas from this thread for dishes to try!

Oh and nothing is worth being obese for. But to answer your question, anything with cheese in it.

If that were actually true then Americans wouldn't have a weight issue.

    this is very true.

it has been proven scientifically, with many unpublished studies (some of which are my own), that tacos indeed taste better than "skinny" feels.

Well, I used to be obese, and I don't believe in "Nothing tastes better than thin feels." Donuts taste way better. Cookies. Chocolate. Steak. Little Debbie snacks. Scotch. And it's possible to have that stuff and still be thin. Don't make me say the M word.

You realize you can have all the yummy foods without becoming obese, right? That's what portion control is about.

This. I love being my current size way more than I love any food. Besides, I can have anything I want as long as I burn it off.

Yeah, I agree with everybody else, none is worth it. After that first bite, the food euphoric high goes down and each bite thereafter, loses its value. I love being slim and cute anyways, so being obese for a piece of yummy food is not worth it. But, if I want a chocolate cake bad enough, I will hack the hell out of it, cutting it into eighths even, just so I can fit it into my calories daily. Now, that I will do...
  • Absolutely none. You can still have it though, just not as often and do a "cheat meal". I still eat at Taco Bell, and have a donut now and then but don't make it a regular meal.
