I moustache you a question...my beard is getting to be about two-three inches long. Do any of you use conditioner? I see that it's getting a little dry. I do have to brush my beard every morning which by the way brings me great pleasure.

I may or may not have called myself a handsome beast this morning, but that's beside the point. Please, share your caveman secrets.

If you have a beard *nods head* in approval.

I used conditioner on mine when it got to that point to help soften it up a bit.

Try different things to see what works for you. I know some guys who put lotion in their beard, or leave-in conditioner.

I grow my goatee into a full beard in the winter...got to go for the grizzlie adams look. I do use conditioner in my mine other wise it does get really course and it will itch. As it gets longer you have to keep up the grooming, trim the stache hairs and brush it, wash your face after you eat etc

Former bearded guy (too much gray for my taste right now, so it's clean shaven for the moment). Anyhow, yes, conditioner and regular grooming help tremendously based on my prior bearded state.

Mine is short and I condition it. I use Nature's Gate(Aloe conditioner), good ole top o the head stuff. I condition my beard but not the hair on my head. Weird.

What if somebody is a beard, can they be here?

    I'm not; I'm just asking.

My husband had a beard for a little while this fall. He liked to use sweet almond oil on it. We also keep bees, so we have beeswax. I bet the two of those mixed together would make excellent mustache wax.

And another thing, why does everybody hate on the full 70's mustache? I personally love it! Ron Swanson for President!

Bearded clams can coat your beard in a glossy krispy kreme donut like condition. Preserves it better than embalming fluid in a corpse, and smells good to boot.

Might you sell me some of your gloss? How much for a 2oz bottle?

Do what I do, dip it in soup. Or I can ask Nips McGee to help you out. If you like.
