    THEY ARE THE SAME THING

This is about all I can manage without it being painful on my face.

I got nothing.... but in order to go down swinging, I leave this for everyone's enjoyment.

I take one bottle into the shower. Head to foot. Taking more than one bottle into the shower is for women.

If I could brush my teeth with it too, I would.

I like my skin soft and I like my hair to smell good. And I want my beard to not be coarse. I'm okay with "taking" more than one bottle into the shower.

My husband conditions his when it gets too rough, but when even with daily grooming it doesn't feel right or look right, he shaves and starts over. Normally 2-3 times a year.

    Checking in....

I keep mine trimmed pretty tight. Though during no-shave November I did use a conditioner :)

My boyfriend has an epic beard and the only product he uses on it is a special beard oil. Right now he uses "Wild Man" which we got on Etsy (https://www.etsy.com/listing/79196292/man-gift-beard-conditioner-oil-wild-man), but he's also used Moroccan oil (also called argan oil), which is quite nice.

Well I am embarrassed to say, I have to blow dry mine every morning, but oh it is super sexy if I do say so myself! No conditioner, but that is a thought....

The last few days I've noticed drops falling out of my beard when I get to work int he morning. I forget that I now have to towel dry my beard. I foresee blow drying in my future. I approve sir.

Shouldn't be embarrassed at all. That is one quality chin wig. Well done.

I'm looking forward to getting out of the navy in a month and growing the mandatory "I don't have to ****ing shave anymore" beard for at least 1 year...

Just don't try starting it early if whoever has to sign off is a d!ck. They wouldn't let my husband cross the quarterdeck until he shaved off his non-reg sideburns. You know, just so he wouldn't forget what it's like to get the big dry jammie once he was a civilian again.

  • My husband's beard was LONG when he had to shave to go back to being a paramedic/firefighter. I cried. He used shampoo and conditioner in it!

    I love beards.... I miss it. :(

I made the mistake of trying to trim my beard with hair clippers. It didn't work, it looked scruffy. I had to shave it off. I'm sad.

Conditioner is a must for maintaining a well groomed beard.

Being a Man, of course I'm not bright enough to properly groom myself.

About every couple weeks my youngest daughter takes it upon herself to straddle me on the couch, while I'm trying to watch television, and tweeze, pluck and clip my beard, nose hair, ear hair and neck hair.

Seem's like I can grow hair everywhere but the top of my head. If she didn't get my ears, they would be like curb feelers (for those of you old enough to know what curb feelers were).

I moustache you a question...my beard is getting to be about two-three inches long. Do any of you use conditioner?

    First, size doesn't matter.

Second, I wash and condition my beard daily. It can dry out.

I have grown a full beard for Christmas (what? I want to look like Santa...) but have had a goatee for much longer...

    I would say:

    a) Let it grow sufficiently before clipping
    b) then clip using a decent beard trimmer
    c) when you are in the shower washing your hair use the same shampoo / conditioner on your beard
    d) when you are moisturising your skin then use a little on the beard as well
    e) tell people to keep their grubby hands off it - it seems like if you have a nice beard people think it is public property and try to stroke it without prior permission!
