Time.
Meaningless sex to remind yourself that you still got it and can attract a man.

nothing mends a broken heart. when your heart gets broken, whoever/whatever broke it takes a piece with them, so that no matter how many times you puzzle it back together, it'll never be completely whole again. such a cruel game.
Yeah, idk if i agree. I've had my heart broken a few times, and got over it and feel nothing towards those people anymore. One of whom I have a child with. When you're over it, you're over it. It doesnt always "haunt you" or anything like that. If it still bothers you once you think you're over it, you probably aren't and maybe have deeper issues...

Bacon....
I see this bacon obsession frequently on here. I loathe bacon though, and pork too. Filthy swine is no meal of mine.0 -

"" A Successful woman is one who can build a firm foundation with the Bricks others have Thrown at her"!"
I'm not sure who gets the credit for this quote, but my sister sent it to me. Keep busy, be with friends....try not to dwell on the situation (easier said than done). Time heals.0 -
Lots of epic answers. Thanks everyone :-)

I was at the gym Monday with a woman who had buried her husband last week. I think she's handling it well.
Or if you like biblical advice: "Give strong drink to the one who is perishing, and wine to those in bitter distress; let them drink and forget their poverty and remember their misery no more." Proverbs 30:6-70 -

Just broke up with my ex of 3 years/father of my child in October.
I am:
1. Fixating on my child. If you do not have children, this does not apply, although I definitely recommend spending time with a kid. Seriously. Their laughter is the most beautiful sound, even to the saddest ears.
2. Flirting with anything and everything (trust me, the self-esteem boost helps).
3. Going to start P90X3 and get super sexypants.
4. Focusing on my career.
5. Doing what I want to do. You don't realize how much you sacrifice to be with someone else until you have all that time on your hands to sit and think. And, let me tell you, getting to a point where your happy with yourself when you're alone is the best place to be.0 -
You'd have to fall in love to get a broken heart, and I don't fall in love.
