Your story is extremely compelling on so many levels! First, your discipline and willpower are fantastic, and I aspire to such. What an amazing story and what an amazing transformation!!! Congratulations!

I just read your post to my son and showed him your pictures. He has been heavy most of his life and your story sounds a little like his. He is over 450# and has tried to lose a few times but always gains it back. The last time he lost 50# and then gave up when he hit a plateau. He has a mental illness and takes a lot of medication and in the last 6 years since he's been sick he has gained at least 170#.

I'm hoping your story will spark something in him that will give him hope and motivate him to try again. I know God is good and when you lean on Him all things are possible.

Holy, moly ! What an inspirational story. But one thing I will say, you are totally wrong when you say, "I’m no one special". YOU ARE VERY SPECIAL!
