I got really used to fitting into mostly M (occasionally L) past few years... following the size charts, I had to order a size XS dress (I'm still on the top end of normal BMI but hey, i tend to go by how my clothes fit more than my weight anyway)

Oh sorry I forgot to answer your other questions. My starting weight was 135lbs, I now fluctuate between 111 and 113lbs. It took me about 18 months to shift the weight slowly, and there were lots of setbacks before it stuck. Exercise wise I was quite lazy. I did a few rounds of a lifting programme. Dabbled with running and cycling. However I was mostly lazy. It's only in the last few months I've started lifting properly using the stronglifts programme and I am seeing results almost weekly. I'd recommend finding something you enjoy doing and just doing that. Don't force yourself to do an exercise you don't like.
Thankyou so much for the advice 😊. I’m 135lbs at the moment same as your start weight. I’ve been really consistent with the gym it’s just the healthy eating part I struggle with! I’ve been doing heavy weights at the gym and I’m starting to feel more toned so I’ll definitely keep that up 😊5 -
I’m still a work in progress. I’ve struggled with my weight since I was a child. But finally I have something worth posting. I’ve gone from a size 26 to a size 12, 300+ pounds to 189 as of yesterday. Still in disbelief.122 -

Glad to hear it. Remember to also stick to the calorie goal given to you, and you will smash your goals in no time2 -
@VeraJMali That is amazing, well done! Your hard work is really showing1

After finally getting rid of my “fat clothes” to goodwill I felt the need to be able to dress up my new body. Brain still processing fitting into a size small anything! Hopefully my old clothes will help some people in need. Little scary not having any clothes to backup into but maintenance is just like losing right with slightly more food, right?71 -
WOW!2

No longer counting calories or weighing food. I eat what I need to when I'm hungry and I don't ignore small cravings that will just build up over time. The less I work out, the less hungry I am that day. If I want to cut down fat, I just pick a day or two out of the week and fast. It's the kind of freedom I never thought I'd be able to have.82 -
Is that really the same guy?
Congratulations on finding your way!3 -
Wow, Great transformation!2

He's talking about I've been on this fitness journey for 5 years now. I've lost over 60 pounds and gained a lot of muscle. I will never turn back.69 -
I had my last photo removed ! Didn’t realise I’d broken the rules !
I’m 80lb down and at that stage where I don’t feel any different mentally and still think I look the same. Why do brains take so much longer to catch up. I want to lose another 25lb before reassessing where I’m at. Photos are 302 and 222. Uk size 18 to 14

I understand the feeling about looking in the mirror and thinking we still the same. But your photo proves it's not true. Just look at the same t shirt in both pics and how big it looks on you now. I've found this a helpful way for my brain to catch up with my lose. As it seems to work better than looking in a mirror. Well done on your acheivement.9 -
