Niles' Florida: Acquiring the New Territory. {from the Niles' Weekly Register/ 1811-1822} Compiled and edited by David D. Fowler.

I love me some dusty old history. Add Seminoles, double dealing Creeks, Georgians and Florida Crackers, I couldn't be any happier.

    Who has time to read?

    6498132.gif

Well, lots of people if this thread is anything to go by.
I guess you make time for it if you want to do it - just like other people make time to watch TV, go on Facebook, whatever.

I have just finished reading. And the mountains echoed, another really good book by Khalled Houseini, the author of The kite runner and A thousand splendid suns.
