Really? Which team do you root for? I grew up in the Seattle area so I rooted for the Seahawks through all the bad years. If I can root for them for 30 years of misery, I'm not going to give up on them for having the Superbowl slump.

Hmmmm I am so not a sports person so I have no idea what's going on, lol. I'm just going to sit here and keep knocking back water to get rid of the linger tendrils of this slight hangover. Thank god it's dead here. Bring on slow season!

A win today against the Titans means nothing....they have got to get more consistent and their receiving core along with Flacco have GOT to get on the same page.

Heard that the Cardinals QB may have a torn ACL in his knee and could be out for the season. Though I cheer for the Seahawks, I feel bad for the guy considering how well the team is doing this year.

Yep. I wouldn't wish that on anyone. However, if it has to happen, it couldn't happen to a better team.

I think my autoimmune thrombocytopenia dog may pull through. He is starting to get more active. That's ITP for you nurses.

Steroids, Azothioprin and Fresh Frozen Plasma if the platelets get low enough.

Do you have to do cross matches like we do on FFP's and PRBC's?

We purchase Dog Eurethrocyte Antigen 1.1 free plasma and PRBCs so with traumatic injuries no. For autoimmune stuff we do.

We have nine donor dogs that we use for cross match blood. I went through all nine before I got a match last time. I was starting to wonder if I would get a match. I thought I was going to have to just pound steroids and hope for the best. Luckily I got a match. Still needed steroids but not ulcer creating doses.

Yep, that would lead to hangovers. Get IV fluids and lots of Motrin and you'll be fine.

I hear that they are ACTUALLY setting up IV treatment centers for hangovers...I haven't personally seen them, but I guarantee there would be many more alcoholics created from it
