Strippers please help!!!!

I'm not a stripper, but I do sugaring. I usually only do it once a month on my legs and arms and epilate in between that time. But I sugar my armpits and *ahem* weekly to keep it up (it's much more bearable when it's only a few hairs rather than a whole bunch!). I also make sure to keep myself exfoliated to avoid ingrowns. I make all my own stuff, so my soap is my homemade papaya and aspirin soap (for chemical exfoliation) with my exfoliating gloves (for physical exfoliation) and after an initial scrub, I'll use the gloves in the same way you would use a body brush (tips to heart). Makes you super smooth. I make sure to stay moisturized too. Again, I make my own stuff, so in the morning I use my olive and oatmeal body cream and my coconut shea whipped butter at night. Keeps me very very soft with glowing skin, no ingrowns, no hair (and no shaving!), and it's fun to make. Sugaring takes a bit of time to master, but once you do, I doubt you'll go back. Much easier clean up too since it dissolves in water!
Edit: Oh, I make my own sugar wax too. So if you want the recipe and how to do it, let me know. It's crazy cheap and easy to make, but you don't use it like regular wax.0 -
She said with time and doing it often enough eventually the hair gets so fine that it is as soft as a baby's bottom when it grows in... but it takes time. She also said that lotion is your best friend as it helps with the smoothness of her skin.
This is so weird to me. I am not a stripper, but I am a pole dancer and most pole dancers I know do not use lotion. period. the oils in lotion cause problems with staying on the pole for both you and anyone else using same pole. even after using alcohol on the pole, it has to be roughed up if it has gotten oil on it. many of the polers i know are also strippers. what a mystery!0 -
Not a dancer by any stretch of the imagination, but I am good friends with one. She says that a lot of the girls go through and get sugaring done (which apparently isn't as harsh as waxing. *shrugs*).

I know they have sugar exfoliants, but do they sell sugar wax? A regular exfoliant isn't going to take the hair off, though following up with an exfoliant would probably also keep your legs pretty smooth.0 -

I have nothing substantial to offer but have to say, I LOVE the title of this thread!
:laugh:0 -
I'm not a stripper but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night, use aloe vera.
Thanks for this post i could do with something to make my legs a bit smoother0 -
oh, I got this, I used to work with tons of strippers (srs). try shaving with lube... it's like magic. otherwise, as someone said, tend skin works great but it is pricey. I recommend the one with the roller.
eta: forgot to mention, they always said they DON'T use lotion because it makes their legs too slippery.0 -
I only shave one of my legs. PM me if you want pics...0

Not a stripper (mainly because I am fat. And would hurt myself on those shoes.) But I have started waxing my legs. Love it. Super smooth and less maintenance. Amazon has microwave roll on wax that also makes it easy and not so Damn messy.0

Two of my best friends in town are strippers. Its amazing how much they know about weight loss and how to look good. Its like they all attend a secret camp or something.0

Some women just have really thin hair and so there is never a 'stubble' feeling, even as it grows back in. I have this, and while it makes for some nice smooth legs, the hair on my head goes limp and lifeless about 5 minutes after styling and hairspray.0

I um.... knew a stripper for a while back in my single days. Her skin was freakishly smooth. She always used hair conditioner to shave rather than shaving cream or soap. She said it eliminated all the bumps. I'm not if that was the whole trick as silky smooth seems to be a bit more than bump-free, but on the bump angle she used normal conditioner that you would use on your hair.0

I must look into the sugaring...sounds promising
In the meantime, I use hair conditioner as a shaving cream. The razor totally glides, no nicks, and my skin is super soft when I'm done.0 -
I don't shave my legs. The bit of hair that grows is super thin and light. No one even realizes its there. But baby oil gel and coconut oil or a good body butter work wonders.0

This thread is useless without pics.
No...this thread is useless without strippers. :grumble:0 -
just to throw my two cents in here. I know some girls who did the sugaring thing. They said it hurts like a b!tch so... be warned. Consider your pain tolerance.0

For sugaring, she goes to a tanning salon near the club that does if for her... After they do the sugaring they apply a vitamin E lotion to her skin
With regards to using lotion... Never before performance, but when not performing and at home she uses it. I helps keep the moisture and lipids in the skin. She uses some cocoa stuff... It's in a brown tube/bottle and smells like vanilla. She used to use a coconut smelling lotion from Victoria Secret. The important part of the lotion is that it does not have a greasy left behind feel to it
She's actually pretty crazy with the applying of her lotion... She does it after she wakes up, after her shower she re-applies, actually any time she gets wet she does it afterwards (e.g. swimming). She was terrible to go out anywhere because she had to lotion up before we would leave. On the plus side of all that maintenance... She has got AMAZING skin and so smooth.0 -
I'm only a stripper if I'm a) too drunk or b) twirling the poles in my basement between sets
so I'm really not at all qualified to answer this question. However, I do love strippers and had the EXACT same question after my first lap dance in Montreal a couple of years ago.
I learned that I am for sure straight but dammit I loved how soft her legs were *sigh*0 -
no idea i never shave/wax0
-
Montreal strip clubs are certainly an intense experience... A lot of the dancers in Niagara Falls clubs come from Quebec/Montreal... I am a sucker for their English speaking French accents.
Sorry, got sidetracked... there for a second... So yeah, smooth legs.0 -
No strippers in this thread.
I like the feel of well groomed female legs.0 -
The real question is, leg hair? Gross or not?0

When I let other parts grow out a bit and shave said parts it's SUPER smooth, but if I jump the gun and shave said part the moment I see a follicle I get bumps . If the stripper was part timing it maybe she was waiting until the last moment and shaving with baby oil and following up with a ton of lotion and a sugar scrub? Just a thought!0

I use conditioner to shave and baby oil gel after getting out of the shower. I still have to shave often but my legs are super smooth and soft0
-
Thank you Asian genes, no need to shave my legs haha though I've heard using conditioner helps!0
-
I use a combination of Nitromors and wire wool. Lovely results.0
