I do my husband's laundry and cook for him, but he does the same for me. Be prepared to do 50% of the work or more on some days :)

At what age or point do I settle for less just so I can 'be in a relationship'? It'd be nice to stop doing my laundry every week, stop cooking every meal for myself, stop spending valentines day alone... etc.

No one's interested, because of that ^

Oh, hey. That'll change your weight, too. And your workouts will need to be modified...see, it's good you haven't found her.

Ask your mom/dad if you can move into the basement...problem solved. [/endthread]

I'll date you. I've been looking for someone who will tolerate me so I can cook for them and do their laundry. Sounds ideal on my end.

I know what you mean! I'm so tired of having to pay my own bills. And the lawn doesn't mow itself, you know.

Quote twilight to girls..seems to work for the other guy...

But in all seriousness, why would you be with someone you don't truly love and care about? Isn't that worse then being alone? To "settle" for a woman wouldn't be fair to you or to her, cause she should be with someone who loves her unconditionally not someone who's just settling for her. And it's not as if you're in your 50's, you have plenty of time to find someone you actually love. Being lonely on valentines day isn't a good reason to be in a relationship.

It's not about settling for less, it's about looking for different things. People create an image in their mind of what they want their relationship or significant other to be like, and it's usually never how it ends up happening. I'd suggest being more openminded about the kind of girl u expect yourself to end up with.
