    Personally I find it offensive, it suggests a predatory nature. I never chase younger men, they pursue me

    For some women its an insult for others its a badge of honor I guess it would depend on how someone said it..I say if you got it flaunt it some people don't like that but oh well

    True. When I was 18 my gf at the time was 46.. one of the best ever! Been with much younger women then her since and sex depends.on the chemistry as much as anything else.

    Depends on the attitude of the person calling someone a cougar and the attitude of the woman on the receiving end.

    Some are quite proud to be called cougars others not so.

    Sometimes men over 40 just don't do. :wink:

    Really though, all women are beautiful! Young and old. (Just have a thing for older experienced ladies. They don't play around or do drama. I hate drama)

    That's the thing. There's plenty of drama with a younger woman. Though I wouldn't call a 40+ woman "old."

    Since my last birthday, my husband has joked that I've entered cougar territory, but it just doesn't hold water. I prefer men my age or a little bit older... (And he knows that, he just likes teasing me... :wink: )

    I wouldn't ever consider it an insult to a lass if I heard them described as it but also would probably only use it tongue in cheek or with someone who I knew would take it as a compliment.
