Good morning and happy hump day! I have a busy day of work and errands so this will be a quick post. Today was a strength training day so I completed the Burn Circuit 2 dvd from the Chalean Extreme program and the Fast Abs dvd from the Kettleworx series. I'm trying to use my family trip to Jamaica this summer as my motivation to continue w/my ab work. I have arthritis in my lower back so ab work really aggravates it for some reason. I'm sure it doesn't help that I have week lower back muscles. Whatever the reason I tend to want to skip ab or core work but I've been making myself do it for the last few weeks and I think it's helping. When I measured it sometime last week I was 27 1/2 inches. I would love to decrease this by at least 2 inches but we'll see.

    Have a great day everyone!

I'm up a few ounces from last Fri when I weighed before being gone all weekend. However I'm happy with it since I wasn't home all weekend & didn't work out at all, then yesterday I ate out both for lunch & dinner AND I had a beer AND an ice cream cone!

Anyway - I redid my goal for Jan as well....there is NO WAY I'm making it to 190 by then! I've been trying to get to ONEderland for over 2 months now....so hopefully I can get there & never see the 200s again!

So I went to the gym today (still on my free pass) and I ran a 35min 5k!!! WOOT WOOT!! I'm so stoked!! And to think I was seriously gonna quit halfway through! That's 9min off my actual 5k I ran outside!! Happy Bru Dance :drinker:

I like having the gym access, but I don't think I'd use it as much if I knew I could use it whenever I wanted. Knowing that I only have 7days to try it makes me kill it in the gym. But that's a good thing because I'm shaking things up a bit and confusing my body. Not too much exercise for a few weeks, mostly light stuff then a few days of running and such.

I'm not expecting a loss tomorrow, but I hope I break through shortly after the New Year

Good afternoon everyone! This will be a quick post b/c it's a very busy work day and I have a headache. Since today was a designated cardio day I completed the Burn Intervals and Recharge dvds from the Chalean Extreme program.

Good morning everyone and T.G.I.F.! This has been a good exercise week for me despite TOM at the beginning and lower back pain towards the end. Today was a strength training day so I completed the Burn Circuit 3 dvd from the Chalean Extreme program and the Fast Abs-week 3 dvd from the Kettleworx series.

I have no real plans for this evening but considering renting a movie. I have a lunch engagement with a college girlfriend tomorrow afternoon so we can plan a mini college reunion. While in college we (12 girls) lived in an off campus boarding house and became great friends. We've since relocated to different areas of the U.S. and haven't had an opportunity to get together as a total group since 1998 so 2011 is the designated year. My girlfriend and I have already started the planning process so we're meeting tomorrow for updates. I'm really excited about the opportunity for all of us to gather again. The biggest difference this time around is that many of them now have spouses and children so it will be an awesome experience.

I've been invited to a holiday party Saturday evening but do not think I'll be attending because I don't have the appropriate attire and don't feel like going shopping and spending extra money.

Sunday my book club members and I will have brunch and discuss our book readings and outings for the upcoming year. We ways have a great time so I am really looking forward to that. Otherwise it will be a pretty low key weekend.

Good morning all! Today was a boot camp day and as always I had a great time. We did a variety of circuits (kettleball swings, weighted squats, shoulder presses, windmills, bent over rows, push ups, reverse lunges, burpees, mountain climbers etc.) and I was able to get a great burn. It's a bit rainy this morning so I'm going to relax before I meet up w/my college girlfriend.

    Have a great day everyone!

It's been a great workout week but today my book club members and I had our annual Christmas brunch and I ate everything I desired (including dessert and two mimosas) with no guilty feelings at all. Today I completed the P90X stretching dvd from the P90X program and once again it was definitely needed because my body was a bit tight from this week's workouts.

Went to a housewarming party with CJ Saturday night, and then yesterday I had my parents and sister over for my mom & sister's birthdays. I made my mom's favorite Ham & Bean soup with cornbread. So lots of sodium...:grumble: So no big surprise that I'm up a few ounces....I was down to 202.6 a few days ago however! :explode: Hopefully I will have a good loss this week!

Yea, I don't think I'll make my new goal, but, maybe I will. I'll be ok if I don't. I can't wait to get the new challenge started :) I'm not trying to make excuses for myself, but this part of the year has been so hard. Starting with losing Nick's Grandparents back to back and the many weeks leading up to that were horrible. And now that it's been a month and a half, the family (mostly Nick's parents) have been so cold- hearted and greedy. I hate that. So that has put extra stress on us both. I'm glad taht I had the chance to use the gym though, all the bottled up emotions came undone last week and it was nice to burn it off. Hope you all have a great week :)

Today I completed the Burn It Off dvd from the Chalean Extreme program. I had a wonderful weekend but my arthritis has flared up in my knee and back so I'm in a little bit of pain. I plan on completing some type of workout everyday this week but it the intensity may vary depending on how I feel.

Good afternoon everyone! Today was strength training so I completed the Burn Circuit 2 dvd from the Chalean Extreme program.

I am still undecided about what program I will begin in the new year and I need to make a decision quickly since it is upon us. Does anyone know of a place to purchase the Turbo Fire program cheaper than on the beach body site? I would like for that to be my next program but don't really want to spend the money since there are other pressing issues that need to be tended to.

I skipped the gym last night as I had tons of errands to do and too much to do at home....Christmas with my family is TONIGHT! So again, I will be skipping the gym tonight :grumble: AND I have NO calories left for tonight! Its cookie day at work & I had 3! :noway: Anyway....I don't care for today. I'm off work the rest of the week & I will be hitting the gym, since I really don't have much else to do with my Christmas celebration being tonight. HOWEVER.....I want to just give myself one last Christmas present to myself.....ONEderland and hopefully 50 lbs lost - both would be FABULOUS, but as of this morning I need to lose 2.7 lbs for ONEderland and 3.6 lbs for 50 lbs GONE! I'm SOOOOO close!

Good evening everyone! Today was an extremely busy day and I'm just finally getting around to posting. Since today is my designated cardio day I completed the Core Cardio & Balance dvd from the Insanity program. I love that I have so many programs to choose from so when I get bored I can switch it up.

I am also happy to announce that I purchased the Turbo Fire program today and I'm hoping to begin that program on January 17, 2011. I chose that day because it's after my birthday and all the celebrations should finally be behind me and I can begin concentrating on healthier eating. I was able to purchase the entire program off of Ebay for $78.00 so I'm extremely happy. This was my first time ever using Ebay so I'm hoping this will be a positive experience.

Kintegra: Hope you enjoyed your Christmas celebration with your family.

Since I know I will be indulging later I decided to rock out today's workout. Today I completed the Burn Intervals dvd from the Chalean Extreme program.

Good morning and Merry day after Christmas. As of today, I have logged onto this site everyday for an entire year. I did not start out trying to achieve this goal but as I began accumulating more and more days I started pushing for it......challenges keep me motivated. My next challenge is to workout everyday for an entire year and I will have accomplished that on January 4, 2011, so the countdown has begun.

Since Sunday's are my designated rest days I try to keep my workouts light so I completed 30 minutes of Yoga and 30 minutes of Stretching.
