I'm back on the dating market and I'm curious to know what are some of the worst offenses that someone has committed when you've gone on a first date with a person or in the early stages of dating someone?

    Going on ONE lunch date with someone and afterward he assumed we were in a committed relationship. Whooaaaaa slow down there, bub. Then he got all friggin' weird when I told him my daughter's father is involved in her life. Why would that offend anyone? Wouldn't you want her dad to be involved? Weird.

    I had a date on Friday who did this...and I'm not okay with that. It was a first date. I would rather not hear about your ex-girlfriend(s).

    Don't consume the conversation just talking about yourself. Ask lots of questions about the person you're with to show interest. I went on a date once and was so nervous I just went on and on about myself and then afterwards I thought, "oh, no. I don't think I asked him one single question about himself because I was so busy trying to impress him." ha. Oh well. Eventually I figured it out and married a fantastic man.

    I have given up on dating. Always seems to be the extremes! "marry me" or "hey baby, lets mix our genes" (or worse: "I love my wife, but she isnt' into sex. She knows I get it elsewhere. Join me and some friends for a party?")
