Not sure I'll make this goal of 1,440, but I'll try my best to do so. For me this is a true challenge as I don't exercise as much as I should in the winter. They're calling for another snow storm Tuesday into Wednesday. We already have 16 inches of snow piled everywhere from the last snowstorm we had. Hard for me to find what to do in the winter as I exercise outside and I'm still figuring out what I can do with a bad back inside. The doctor has already told me no pushups, no situps, no stair machines, no treadmills, no jogging. I can do the elliptical, walking.
I have a yoga mat, resistance bands, weights, handles for the jump rope, a step, a stability ball (not ready for this yet as I have a weak core and I can't get or stay on it yet), books, the pedals for the eilliptal. Just trying to work out which things I'm capable of doing with my bad back, arthritis in hands, feet, knees, and back.
Won't be surprised if I can't make it, but will feel a nice sense of accomplishment if I do make it.0 -

So sorry to hear about the bad weather. I don't know how you all stand the snow!! It's 70 degrees right now in Florida. :glasses: and its 5:20pm. I would be worse than you about exercising if I had to deal with all the snow too!!
What about some DVDs? Leslie Sansone is GREAT!! They are all walking workouts, but as you get better you can up the intensity. LOVE HER!! I know that some cable companies have some of her workouts available for FREE. Also, on YouTube there are FREE workouts available.

How about yoga videos or one of the Leslie Sansone Walking videos? I hear a lot of good things on the walking videos and a lot of people do them. You can also find youtube videos for her as well. Also do some resistance training and stretches, it all adds in time and burns calories!!0 -
