    I only am able to run on the week-ends and I am going on vacation during the last weekend but I will join in.
    All my runs are outside on the ice and snow.

    3/1 – 5.11 miles (Ortega River Run – 5 miles – 48:48. First timed race.)
    3/2 – 5.09 miles (easy/slow run)
    3/3 – Rest Day
    3/4 – 4.07 miles
    3/5 – 1 mile run plus cross training (strength and bike)
    3/6 – 5.37 miles (12x400 intervals)
    3/7 – 2.13 miles (plus strength and bike)
    3/8 – 7.08 miles (bridges)
    3/9 – 6.0 miles (plus bike 5 miles)
    3/10 – 4.3 miles
    3/11 – Rest Day (6 hours of yard work. No time or energy to run.)
    3/12 – 3.24 miles (easy)
    3/13 – 5.3 miles (Was supposed to be a rest day but couldn’t keep myself inside. Hope I don’t pay for it on Saturday.)
    3/14 – Rest Day (15 K race on Saturday)
    3/15 – 9.59 miles (Gate River Run-15K 1:35:28. Accomplished goal!)
    3/16 – 4.05 miles (recovery run)
    3/17 – Rest Day
    3/18 – 6.06 (negative splits)
    3/19 – 3.1 miles

    Having a rest day today. Ran 1.5 miles yesterday and went to step aerobics last night. Got up this morning feeling like I hadnt slept! So having a rest day and will be back at it tomorrow. On the plus side, my class instructor complimented me on keeping up with the class better so the running must be helping to improve my stamina!

    Good run today! It was a little on the nippy side and very cloudy, but I can now run wearing only one pair of gloves and no face mask! Small mercies...

    Race day is May 4th. If it snows, I will cry!

    Was meant to be another recovery run as I am feeling tired this week after the HM on Sunday.

    Turned out I felt better when I started running so turned into a 5 mile tempo run.

    All right! 17k today, and it felt good (even though I was freezing for at least half of the run). I don't think I'll run tomorrow - may do some cross-training, but give the running muscles a rest.
