I had some peas and ham ready to carry to work, but forgot them. A search of my work freezer turned up this Black Bean plus 13 Soup. I was late eating because I had several people come in my office and not want to leave.

Green beans, mixed veggies and stir-fry veggies. Today was my lifting day, so I had calories to spare. I had some late night ice cream and peanut butter granola but didn't take a picture.

Didn't take a picture, but last night we had baked chicken pesto with tomato served over zucchini "pasta".

All this food looks amazing! I'll have to take some pointers cause I'm bad at meal planning.

Larro, I was trying to figure out what to eat, saw your post, and those yummy looking eggs jumped at me. Except I put mine in a sandwich. Thanks for the inspiration!

Glad to be of help. Margie still had some of her eat one/take one from Olive Garden, and she told me she had half of her sausage omelette from breakfast, so I didn't plan any supper. But when she got home, it was less than a quarter of an omelette. I was in the mood for eggs by then, so.....

Kids wanted breakfast for dinner which included frozen waffles, scrambled eggs and bacon. I turned mine into a sandwich with some cheddar cheese and guacamole!

Mmm it was so good! Sesame Spiced Turkey Meatballs from the Smitten Kitchen cookbook. I actually forgot the sesame seeds so they were more like "Spiced Turkey Meatballs," but delicious with cumin, coriander, cayenne and paprika. Also raw bell peppers and some basmati rice as well as a side of a quick refrigerator pickle I made today (also from Smitten Kitchen website). And a little glass of white wine.

The meatballs are going to be a new staple here. Not spicy at all, but they introduced some new flavours to my son, who loved them - and he is not an easy to please toddler.

Heated up some of those black-eyed peas (with new potatoes and Brussel sprouts) I made last weekend and added some chopped mushrooms, asparagus, raisins and a nitrate free hot dog. Just got back from the dentist a few hours ago and my mouth is still a little wonky, but I think I can eat this.

Last night we had to dig out a drainage ditch that had become clogged before it rained again today. By the time we finished, it was late and I was too exhausted to cook, so dinner was just a salad (lettuces, chard, kale, tomatoes, cucumber, jalapeno, pickled squash, kidney beans and Parmesan - dressing was a little juice from pickles) and a fresh ear of corn with butter.
