PIZZA-- 1/4 of a DIGIORNO RISING CRUST 4 CHEESE for approximately 500 calories. It's my splurge, & I'm compensating by eating low carb/ low fat for the early part of the day.0

Last night was Shepherd's Pie which was supposed to have enough leftovers for lunches, but apparently it was the 'best ever' according to the hubster, and so there was onbly enough left for one lunch (his, apparently).
Tonight I'm having pork loin steaks with roasted cauliflower, pumpkin and asparagus tossed with pearl couscous in a dijon vinegar dressing.0 -
Sloppy Joes with mac n cheese I think, and hopefully start my Thanksgiving preparations...0

Chicken and green beans with augratin potatoes0

I had a big lunch, so dinner will be something light like yogurt and some fruit. Lunch today was this mildly spicy chicken tortilla soup and a good portion of this massive salad (mixed greens, grilled chicken, brocolli, cauliflower, onions, red bell pepper, artichoke hearts, greek olives, raisins, mushrooms, beets, kidney beans, garbanzo beans, parmasean cheese, celery).

More Spicy Jambalaya. Since I'm not working again until Saturday, I added all the leftover sausage and bacon in my work fridge to it. Very good.

I had a late night snack when I got home from work. Bacon and sausage turkey burger with pepper Jack, tomato and pickle. I ate it before I thought to take a picture. Sure was good though.0

Made some salmon teriyaki and Japanese vegetables simmered in broth. There goes all my sodium!0

Oh my gosh, working late then Thanksgiving shopping meant takeout.
Wendy's fries(no salt) and a small chili with cheese poured over them.0 -
Supper was a ham and chicken sandwich with pepper Jack, onion, tomato and pickle. Also corn and green beans. I was thinking about frying an egg to go on the sandwich, but decided against it. It was was very good without it. As early as we ate, there will likely be some kind of snacking before bedtime.

Since I ain't feeling well I cracked open a can of Progresso Light Chicken Noodle Soup.
I might be eating in a little while again. Going to my mom's(she just called and invited me over for a bit, so have to get ready soon), so that might help. Just don't want to spread whatever I have to my sister or my daughter.0 -

Baked potato with cheddar, chives, and sour cream. Didn't feel like cooking since that's all I'll be doing tomorrow.....0

No pic, but more of what I had to add:
Raspberry glass candy w/ powder sugar, popcorn, a cookie, some bisketti noodles, pumpkin pie filling, and beef and bean enchiladas with the rest of my(now stale) Diet Pepsi 1litre.
Hungry again right now so am having a whole can(yup because one I can and two because the whole can fits literally in my bowl) of Progresso Chicken and Herb Dumplings soup.0 -

Back in March I was still losing. I've been at my goal weight since about June, so my suppers are much more calorie dense these days. Sometimes too much so.

My Dad and I went to a restaurant called Seasons 52 for our Thanksgiving meal today. It was our first time there, and it was really nice.
We started with some rosemary rolls with pumpkin butter. I'm not usually fond of the flavored butters, but that stuff was soooo good!
The meal was really yummy. I made it through half the plate before I cried mercy and had them box up the rest. Turkey (white and dark meat), mashed potatoes and gravy, fresh green beans, sweet potatoes, stuffing, cranberry sauce.
Their desserts were deconstructed variations on standard desserts. They brought us a plate of about 15 different deconstructed desserts to choose from. I had the deconstructed cannoli and Dad had the deconstructed pumpkin pie. They were both good, but we decided we prefer a little construction in our desserts.
I hope you all have had a lovely Thanksgiving!

Supper tonight was the last of last year's peas, and a ham, chicken and bacon sandwich with Pepper Jack, tomato, pickle and onion. Very good. We are doing the big meal tomorrow so BIL could spend the day with his kids and grandkids today. I cooked a big pot of the peas so they will be on the menu again tomorrow. And Margie has been in the kitchen all day to get a head start on tomorrow. Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

Leftovers from this afternoon's dinner:
Turkey(white meat), green bean casserole(both spicy and non spicy), baby carrots with whipped cream to dip in, gravy, two dinner rolls and a glass of iced tea to drink.
I did take a pic, but I don't have much time to put it up. I might be able to post it later(if I am awake later).0
