    This. Good GRIEF, people.... Who CARES what guys or gals want? Do what YOU want. What makes YOU happy, because then you can be confident, knowing you did it for YOU. Then, guys (or gals) will come crawling out of the woodwork for you.

    The one that killed was a few weeks ago when a MARRIED woman started a thread asking the internet about whether her husband would like her if she got thinner. Number one, just ask him. Number two, stop caring about husband's opinion of whether you want to lose weight or not. He married you, so I'm sure he liked other things about you besides your looks (one can hope anyway).

    Please stop this nonsense. I understand that we want guys to find us attractive and we worry about our flaws, but if you are constantly worrying if a guy will like your ____(enter insecurity here)_____ you aren't going to be happy.

    I have been at all ends of the spectrum. Guys liked me when I was fat or when I had abs, when I had big boobs or when I had no boobs, when I had short blonde hair or when I had long black hair. There were also guys who told me that they were not attracted to me because of any one of those factors.

    Do what you want, look how you want to look and live how you want to live. If you are happy and confident guys are going to be more attracted to you anyway.

    As long as I bring him food, my husband doesn't care how I look!

    Just to "weigh in", I met and married my very in shape husband when I was 250 lbs, and he has always loved me and found me to be beautiful because he loves who I am as a person. Our goal together is to get/stay in shape and eat healthy because we want to live a long and happy life together.
