    I am a touchy feely person and hugging is just part of it. Italians greet each other with hugs and cheek kisses. Throws off my English friends. Lol

    As some others have said it all depends.... My son, I hug and kiss and cuddle him constantly and he cuddles me back also. We are very lovey with each other but he is only 3 :) (hopefully never grows out of snuggling his momma)

    With adults... it must be someone I'm very close to, intimately or emotionally... my close friends know that I have kind of a weird thing about touch so only if I'm upset about something would they ever pull me in for a hug.

    With a lover though... I'm very touchy feely, I want to be touched and touch him as much as possible at all times.... to bad he's not the same, this man can't even hold my hand in public.

    I love a good hug, I like to give them and love to receive them, but I am not one to initiate the hug. Weird, I know. I don't think my family was into hugging as I grew up, this has changed now, we all hug now.

    Hug a lot. Family, friends and such. Hand on shoulder, hand shakes, etc with acquaintances.

    Most of my family are big huggers and even kissers. I hug lots of people if they ask or initiate. hugs are good for your mental health.

    Sometimes but if it's forced it can be quite awkward or I tend to have the habit of patting people's back when I hug especially guys lol. One guy was like that's what you do to your brother.... Lol

    Only with my toddlers. Other than that I have a large personal space requirement. I normally don't want people touching me unless they have my express written consent. lol
