    I'll try this challenge. I lost 10 lbs in 5 weeks so 5 lbs in a month shouldnt be difficult. (I hope)

    I'm in. I'm 3 lbs away from normal "BMI" so I'm really hoping this October challenge will get me there. I've been stuck on this plateau for a month now. Would really love to be below 120 and see the teens again.

    Count me in, I am VERY new at this but so encouraged by all the posts. i hope to lose 10 lbs this month but I keep telling myself that slow and steady wins the race!

    I am in. 1st time on this thread. I lost 3 pounds in September. At my size I could lose more weight but slacking big time. But I am still happy with 3 pounds and I am not gaining weight overall.

    Wow so many pages already! So here is a little history, I just want to put it out there to remind myself:

    Started my first weight loss challenge in August

    Goal was to lose 5lbs in a month

    Aug.1 - 157
    Aug. 8 - 154.3
    Aug. 15 - 153.2
    Aug.22 - 151.7
    Aug. 27 - 147.5

    So goal completed and weight lost = 9.5lbs

    Next challenge September lose 5lbs

    Sept.1 - 147.5
    Sept. 6 - 145.5
    Sept. 13 - 144.8
    Sept. 18 - 142.4
    Sept. 26 - 142

    Goal completed and weight lost = 5.5lbs

    Now on to October! Somehow I have lost weight between Sept.26 and today I think it might be an error but I have had a rough few weeks and the loss has makes me happy and focused so I am recording it...lol.

    October challenge to lose 5lbs.

    Oct. 2 - 140.9 (.9 away from my happy weight :) Another 10lbs and I will be at my ultimate goal )

    I also wanted to say that I have lost 4 inches around my waist since august and 3 around my hips. I am also back into the same pants I wore before my 2nd daughter.

    That's great motivation for the rest of us too! At least for me, since I lose slow, and gain quick, the same 5 lbs.

    That's so great! Congrats! That's like, a whole new body!! I was excited when I just lost 1" from waist and 1" from hips! :laugh:

    Morning all. going to start P90x today..but will have to wait til later today....busy again this morning/afternoon with my sons activities...have bee doing pretty good (for me) on the sodium this week....will try to continue those efforts....Hope everyone is succeeding with there goals...talk to you all later!!......:flowerforyou:

    I want to join. I only have 5-6 pounds to go to hit my goal weight. I lost 4 in September, so this should be doable since I didn't do a great job of working out during September. My original goal was for our Halloween party, so this should be perfect.

    I really need to start running again. I have stopped exercising almost completely. I move around a lot more than I used to but I need to actually set time aside everyday to exercise.

    You guys need to hold me accountable! Ask me on Monday how things went on the treadmill!

    i completely understand where you're coming from since i use to able to run for 1hr and more. ran 10ks a few times now i can't even do it for a good 2min - i love running since it just that i concentrate on when compared to aerobics

    so since monday i cut my sleep short no matter how late i go to bed and on the treadmill starting all over again and kicking myself while i'm at it

    Let's beat the treadmill again
