I am a bilingual CSR ( customer service rep. ) for a big manufacturing company..

I talk / deal with customers all over the world and most of my colleagues are french ... and I don't speak french xD so we sometimes have funny conversations trying to explain things to each other while not knowing the right words lol

Most of my day is spent sat down in front of the PC but I also get taken out a lot for meals and flown around the world a bit =) however most of the time I meet a lot of my colleagues from other parts of the world when they come to my office to join in on meetings

feel free to add me and ask questions ^__^

I'm an Assistant District Attorney prosecuting mostly felony level drug and gun arrests. I will be trying my first homicide in a few weeks so that's pretty exciting. I am constantly running back and forth from court all day, so I am rarely sitting for long periods of time, but my schedule is so crazy that I often don't have time during the day to sneak in a workout or to eat a decent lunch.

wow! and here I am sat in an office all day just facing paperwork.
I very much look up to women like you :flowerforyou:

what subject are you teaching (is it still called teaching if its at a uni?) ?

I am the Director of Human Resources in a nursing home. I spend way too much time at my desk. I work with employees, help them with personnel issues, insurance and whatever else they need. I am in charge of interviews, discipline, worker's compensation, and just for fun I do the payroll and accounts payable as well. My day's are hectic and sometimes stressful but I try and get out of my office several times a day to walk around the building and visit our residents and follow up with employees.

My absolute favorite job is I am a mom two teenage girls (17 years old) and a 12 year old autistic boy. Doesn't leave much time for exercise, but I do my best to get to the gym for at least 45 minutes a day five days a week.

I am a wife and mom to two kids (three if you count my hubby and I usually do!). I am a Finance & Accounting Manager at a local hospital and also am an Accounting Instructor at a nearby university. I sit on my butt all day staring at a computer screen and sometimes find myself so focused on whatever I'm working on that I won't move for hours and when I do I suddenly realize holy cow I gotta pee! lol I think that level of concentration comes from growing up with four noisy brothers and being an avid reader. :)

I am a social worker for the department of family and children services (child protective services). Some days I do a lot of sitting with meetings, court, and documentation and then other days I do a lot of running from house to house. I am also a mom to a 5 month old.

    "Business Performance Specialist"

It actually means that I tell people that they suck because they aren't following established process/policy, or I tell the people who write the process/policy that they suck because the customers are getting screwed. It also means I am surrounded by fellow nerds who either got their degree in the wrong field, or they didn't finish their degree for whatever reason. We have fun though!

Damnnnn, you're essentially the business police. Have you ever repelled out of a helicopter when you had to bust someone? You know.. just for effect..

I could use the business police in my job as an IT Change Manager......mainly sat behind a monitor all day...luckily we have a gym on site so when I get too fed up of people ignoring the process I can go and work out my annoyance.:explode:

i have to ask, as a mom and someone who generally sees how some children are neglected do you find this improves your parenting skills?
