I'm a social worker and sex therapist. Working out gives me the opportunity to take care of myself even though I have a profession where I work to make sure the needs of others are met. I sit mostly, so my job doesn't help with losing weight. :-\0

Hang out with (alleged) felons!
AHAHA
I like how you edited this and put in (alleged) .. JUST IN CASE ..
And I babysit all those innocent felons0 -
I too hope to argue in front of a judge often, sometimes as a lawyer.
I don't see a judge very often, but when I do, I'm like:

I retired 3 years ago. Before that I was a child support officer for 22 years and a financial worker for 13 years, all for our county social services department. I was never so happy in my life, than the day I was able to get out of there. Even though I retired young, I haven't regretted a day since I left. Retirement is wonderful. I highly recommend it for everyone just as soon as you can.1

Add me to the list of criminal justice/legal field folks - I do process and outcome evaluations for criminal justice and social welfare programs.
ETA: And yes, mostly conducive to a healthy lifestyle unless I am traveling a lot.0 -
I've got an office job (exec assistant) and I do run around a bit on errands for my boss, but mostly it's just sitting.
But I live and work in an urban core so I bike to work and to my recreational activities and on errands and stuff. I do my best to make the cube-farm-highrise lifestyle as active as I can.0 -

I'm a desk jockey extraordinaire. I stare longingly into a computer screen, fire off dubious emails, and kill trees by driving up unnecessary demand for paper . . .
Edit: I also typo extraordinarily well0 -
I work for a medical software company. Normally I am a Product Support/Trainer, but I have moved over to the development side of things for a while just to help out. I sit behind a desk and stare at a computer screen all day. Its actually worked out good for my health. I've been able to keep the weight off at this job. Probably because it is a low stress job and I have a lot more free time to work out.0

I'm a pastry chef. Being required to taste sweets all day has made weight loss tough, but I'm making progress!
Oh this is my dream job! I would not be able to control myself though.
In my day job I'm a health and safety advisor in the oil and gas/mining/construction industry and work away on remote sites for sometimes weeks at a time which is not conducive to a healthy lifestyle at all as the camps cater very much to the big burly construction workers. Lots of deep fried foods, lots of processed convenience foods and limited fresh salads and vegetables The gyms are good though, and free. I'm also a small scale property developer in my spare time and hope to do more of it so I can retire soon.0 -
