    Sorry, I'm too old to work out to Pantera or even Metallica. I work out to Frank Sinatra; it's the perfect pace for Wii Bowling.

    My first concert was Slayer when I was 18. I went with a friend and his friends and they introduced me to the wonderful world of lesser known underground metal. I totally fell in love.

    My fave bands:
    Cryptopsy
    Macabre
    Dimmu Borgir
    Children of Bodom
    Emperor

    Pretty much anything, black, death or thrash.

    Metal for the win!

    I've been in love with metal ever since I heard slayer back in middle school.

    Currently my big thing is any kind of speed/power/heavy/thrash and tech death. The fast paced music keeps me pumped while sitting on my as programming all day. But my favorite sub-genre is any kind of doom.

    Currently listening to the new electric wizard!

    I am super into all subgenres of metal, but lately I've been especially big into black metal (mostly Darkthrone, Burzum, Judas Iscariot, Leviathan, and Taake). That being said, I've been working out to Volbeat's "Outlaw Gentlemen and Shady Ladies" pretty regularly now. I'm also going to see Amon Amarth with Skeletonwitch and Sabaton in like two weeks so WOO! I was also lucky enough to see Black Sabbath back in April. But like I said, I'm super big into all subgenres, so yeah. Go metal!

    Current faves include Skillet, Three Years Hollow, SOAD, Seether, Godsmack, Five Finger Death Punch (seeing them this weekend!).

    I think I am in a minority in that I have been listening to metal since early teens (20yrs ago) and I really do not understand all these various subgenres people talk about.
