    At this point my perfect boyfriend (or fbw....let's not beat around the bush hahahahaha) would be one that is honest, respectful, and funny. I'm not at all jaded :laugh:

    A local radio station did an online poll of what attributes make up the perfect boyfriend, and now they are rolling it into a contest to find the area's "perfect boyfriend". So let me know if you meet the following...we can split the prizes:
    - brunette
    - blue eyes
    - 6 foot 3 inches tall
    - 215 pounds
    - Has pecks and a butt
    - Makes at least 70K a year
    - Likes include: fruity drinks, shopping, and "Orange is the new Black"

    the perfect boyfriend is as follows:

    tall enough that I can wear heels or secure enough that he doesn't care if I do
    makes enough money to support himself
    treats his mom (or mother-figure) and mine with love and respect
    shares hobbies and fave TV shows in common with me
    agrees with me on The Big Stuff like marriage and children and faith
    makes me laugh and makes me think
    sexually compatible
    secure enough not to care that I have guy friends (and some of them are straight)
    I don't care about hair color or eye color, but laugh lines and useful hands will get me every time
    great booty

    and I think most women would agree with the majority of this list

    Things not mentioned that I like is a man who knows how to fix things around the house. Will go out on a cold morning and get my car started when it doesn't want to work. Fixes my computer when it goes blank or gets stuck. Mends things like a broken leg on the coffee table. Collects screwdrivers, wrenches, pliers, nuts, bolts, nails, tape measures. Owns tools like sanders, drills and saws. Keeps my yard mowed and owns a weedeater. Installs security lights, things like that, where he makes my home safe for me.

    Can build a fire in the fireplace to perfection.

    Looks sexiest in a flannel shirt, well-worn jeans and work boots.

    Knows how to calm a screaming baby, change a diaper and warm a bottle just right.

    Keeps me nice and warm at night and never wears pajamas.

    Wow...I'm a way better Perfect boyfriend than Perfect girlfriend or Mistress..YUSSS I found my place! I just need some 7 inch heels, some brown hair dye, and some biscuits and gravy....then I'm perfect!

    This is pretty sexist. How would you feel if some guy was like "double d cups" "24 inch waist" "perfect face and *kitten*"? Probably wouldn't feel so good.

    Let's see if my husband measures up:

    - brunette -used to be. He's a silver fox now.
    - blue eyes - crystal blue persuasion eyes
    - 6 foot 3 inches tall -Yes, but used to be 6'4"
    - 215 pounds - used to be 225 in his 20s; now he's plus 100!
    - Has pecks and a butt - oh yeah, even though his pecs aren't that visible any more.
    - Makes at least 70K a year - no comment on that one
    - Likes include:
    fruity drinks - Drinks a daiquiri or Sangria once every 10 years or so.
    shopping - Not in a million years
    "Orange is the new Black" - No; I don't even watch that show.

    He comes close! But that isn't why I fell in love with him. It was his :heart: and soul that got me. But I do have to admit that at 5' tall, I was infatuated with his height. :love:
