That’ll show them! I don’t think any of the other soccer moms can deadlift as much as you!” 😂😂 you tell them, son!
My son has used that one! :laugh:6 -

You know it's working when you go down a panty size!!!4 -
I had 2 people tell me they can tell I've lost weight. That's the first since i've started over 4 months ago. I also took another full length photo and last time I was happy because I didn't HATE the photo. But this time, I actually really love it12

I have been running 1.5 miles every single day before work for 5 weeks now, to try to get my time below 14 minutes and 30 seconds, which is the requirement of the police academy test, and I am looking to take the test this fall.
Today is the first day I would pass that test, at 14 minutes and 27 seconds.42 -

I really didn't want to work out this morning, like at all, but I got out of bed and went to the gym anyway. Squats, Lunges, Glute kickbacks, Step-ups, Crunches and 25 minutes on the elliptical all done! Some days you just have to suck it up and do it anyway23

Amen, sister. Discipline is what gets me moving when motivation is lacking. And you always feel better when the workout is done!14 -
Dropped my car off this morning for some work to be done. They offered me a lift home, but I declined and walked back!
Now it's 11am, I am back home, and already met my daily 10,000 steps goal.17 -
Allowed myself a s'more on vacation today. Enjoyed it, logged it, and carried on:) No guilt, no remorse, and no spiral down the binge hole!!23

Tried on several shirts today from my closet that I hadn't fit into for a long time. All but one fit! I'm on my 30th day of MFP logging whole, low fat, tasty foods. I also use a wheelchair and everyone says it's so hard to lose using a w/c. I have found it isn't super hard when you set your mind to it and maintain discipline about what you eat. So I'm totally feeling like I have some control over this body32

Thank you for the reminder. It got me to spin yesterday when I really wasn't feeling like it, and I'll remember it today when I go lift weights alone bc my partner is out of town.4 -
hubby says you can tell when a woman gains weight by her arms. He said mine looked good. What a compliment! Maybe working out with small weights over the years has helped.7

Glad that helped. That's what I love about this website - the mutual support and encouragement is the best!

) I haven't heard that from anyone in many, many, many moons. Uhhh...BOOM!

YES! I have 3, 7 hour plus marathons to my name, and I'm aiming for a sub 5 performance in Jan/March of next year. Following a Higdon marathon plan this time. Good work, and good luck on your next cycle!9
