There was no major flexing, filters or anything here just lifted my leg , slightly flexed and bam!
Muscle is visible now in ways it wasn't before it's visible through my jeans it's visible even when I am not working out (here I was, obviously). It's just so cool. 😁😁
Not sure why someone would disagree with this. I'm impressed with your muscle tone and how far you have come along. Congratulations.
I am gonna guess they think it's a filter when it's just poor lighting 🤣🤣🤷. It's ok doesn't hurt my feelings any. I am proud. I work hard.
Thx!16 -
The veins on my forearm are a lot more visible for quite a stretch, in the past it was just right in my wrist.12

Doing hip abduction exercises I've been really conscious of making sure it's my abductor/glute med muscles working, not my TFL muscles. Today, I could actually see those muscles working, meaning not only was I doing it correctly, but they're getting stronger.
Those pesky weak abductor muscles have been the root of some pain, so glad they're getting stronger!14 -
I got pregnant.
Definitely not a scale victory, and not even really related to weight loss. For the last 6 months most of health-related efforts were on mental health and reducing stress, and now I’m pregnant and my head is on straight to prepare for becoming a mama. Being a healthy mom has always been a huge underlying motivation for my weight loss efforts, and now I’m here, committed to being the healthiest mama I possibly can.56 -

Congratulations! It's a great reason to be healthy in both body and mind.8 -
RHR is in the low 50s.
Having slacked off on all logging ad fitness most of this past year I was way back up on the scale. While I was out a few weeks ago I picked up new running shoes and without too much effort I'm back to a sub 30 minute 5k.17 -
I spontaneously suggested to walk home from swimming lessons with my eldest, and we had a great time. A bit hot, and thongs (flip flops/jandals) were a poor choice, bit a lot of fun. I didn't even get sad when we had to backtrack back up a hill when a path was closed off.21

I'm down 11 inches since Jan 6th! Even some of my hockey gear is starting to fall off of me and it's even more expensive than replacing the clothes that don't fit anymore.17

I usually take weekends off, but yesterday was a great day and I felt it. I’m finally getting back to where I need to be!🙌🎶💃🎵18 -
Emergency plumber called 'cos the heating wasn't working – he commented that he'd try to get it going quickly as a "skinny little thing like you will feel the cold"! I've been at my target weight for over a year now but I still think of myself as big (I'm towards the upper end of the healthy BMI range but I started out at twice the weight I am now) so that was really validating after the initial confusion had passed!26

went to the san diego wild animal park. first time in 20 years. it took 2 years and 210 lbs but my second major weight loss goal is complete. lots of hills and i lasted 3 1/2 hours.37 -

I went into a clothing store for the first time in a year and tried on new jeans. The sales lady gave me a pair of size 10’s to try on and they fit! I had been as high as a 16, but have been wearing 14 and 12 more recently. It was a nice surprise.20

Logging back into My Fitness Pal to start again after many months away👍🏻21

Put on the slightly bigger jeans and was okay with it.
I have both 16 and 16W jeans, and currently the 16s are a fraction tighter in the waist than I would normally wear my jeans. Yes, they were fitting just right in October, and the 16W's were falling off my butt. Right now I've got a lot going on in my life and despite eating within my calories, I'm holding onto weight. But what I'm not doing is panicking, purging, or hating myself. Right now the 16W is a little more comfortable, and that's okay. And I'm okay.
This is a pretty big deal for me.33 -
This is such a simple NSV I am almost embarrassed to share it but, I was able to clip the toe nail on my left pinky toe for the first time in a while. It is not much but I was able to, in a sitting position, fold my bowling ball of a torso in half and trimmed the nail without gasping for air and straining to reach it.38

Me too! First day logging in a long while. Weight has crept up a little with the cold and 2020, trying to keep a lid on it.
Also having some digestive upset and I want a food log.11 -
I wore a shirt on Saturday that I haven't worn in about 18 months!
Also, on Sundays I allow myself unlimited calories up to my target daily average for the week (1750). For various reasons, my calories during the week were low, so I could have eaten up to 4000 calories and still been below target for the week. I told myself that I could have up to 3000 calories, but only ended up eating 2150.
I had a blowout breakfast. But then was just not that hungry so didn't have lunch. Then dinner was pretty low key chicken. I treated myself to my first doughnut in three months! And I sat down and really enjoyed it over the space of about half an hour. It feels like even on days when I can basically eat as much as I like, I'm eating more sensibly, which is a victory for me.22 -
Being able to wear my high-tops. I couldn't for over 3 years due to excessive edema around my ankles and feet. How this is happening due to eating clean. Cooking my own meals and eating 6 x's a day. Who would have thought that by eating more, one would drop weight!12
