Or even not related to weight loss, but related to getting fitter/healthier/...6 -
Being able to wear my high-tops. I couldn't for over 3 years due to excessive edema around my ankles and feet. How this is happening due to eating clean. Cooking my own meals and eating 6 x's a day. Who would have thought that by eating more, one would drop weight!
Congratulations on making some positive changes! Keep doing what you're doing, but don't fool yourself that you will lose weight by eating more. If you are losing weight, you are eating less. Well, fewer calories than you expend. You might be eating a larger volume of food if you switched out some high calorie small foods for things that fill you up with fewer calories. Just be aware that losing fat comes from eating fewer calories than you oxidize, and there's really no way around that energy balance equation.7 -
While reffing hockey last night, one of the guys asked me "How much weight have you lost?!". Not "Have you lost weight" plus I was wearing my ref gear so it's harder to notice. The difference in question feels important but also, this is the first comment I've had after starting back on my journey back in November!24

@Mewlingstork. That is extra impressive given the ref gear. Way to go.

Spartan race this year: I'll be 66 when I race - registered and training for it. Never in a million years would I have even considered such a thing just a few years ago.29

Completed my 30-day plank and pushup challenges. I managed a 5 minute plank (even though I felt like crying part way through) and 50 pushups! Woot! Next up, 100 pushup challenge!23

This is such a simple NSV I am almost embarrassed to share it but, I was able to clip the toe nail on my left pinky toe for the first time in a while. It is not much but I was able to, in a sitting position, fold my bowling ball of a torso in half and trimmed the nail without gasping for air and straining to reach it.
Big victories are often the culmination of many small victories that may go unnoticed. It doesn't matter if it's "just" your pinky toe. What matters is that it was something you weren't able to do before, and now you are able to. Success!16 -
I just bought a tank style bathing suit in size large - just plain large, no X or anything - and it fit. Was actually a little big in certain areas. It's SO much cheaper to buy a swim suit in normal sizes - like $11 when the next size up was $30!19

I have a couple today
- went climbing for the first time in about 6 years last night. My harness was a bit too loose and I had to borrow another one.
- I got some new pyjamas, sizes S and M.
- I’ve started selling some of my larger clothes, I feel ready to take the step and get rid of some of them.
- I had a doctors appointment and articulated some of the concerns I have around my food intake and running volume. I left with a referral to both a therapist and dietician.24 -
This week for me marks half a year. Half a year of logging (not always very consistently) but logging in. Each day thinking about what I am going to eat and how to move forward. I’ve lost some weight in that time around a stone (14lbs/7kgs), maybe more but I’m fitter, stronger and happier20

So... I started 9/1/20. I was winded walking up 15 steps in my house. Fast forward to February 2021... I jog up them in sets of 10. I am both very proud and very humbled by what my body can do.26

My 17-year-old granddaughter lives with my hubby and me. She's taking a Global Foods class in high school, but because she is a virtual student, I get the privilege of buying the supplies for all of her cooking projects (and also have to put up with her messing up my kitchen in the process........) The up side is that we get to eat everything she makes. Last night, she was up until past 11:00 chopping dark chocolate, whipping heavy cream and slicing strawberries. The result is a gorgeous cream pie that my hubby and I do NOT need to eat! We also have a daughter and her 2 kiddos living with us. Yesterday the youngest turned 5 so we also have mermaid cupcakes and the makings for ice cream sundaes. Instead of keeping the pie around to torture us, I brought it in to school today and put it in the faculty room fridge. I can guarantee it will be gone by lunchtime! Last year, I would have just eaten my way through it (whether I was truly hungry or not) just so it wouldn't go to waste!18

I felt like my stomach was feeling a little firmer under my squishy belly fat; I was like, it might just be wishful thinking, but, when I measured, I was 1.8 inches less than the last time I measured (~2 weeks before)!!28

Ok this is a big one! I'm wearing the Dragon Pants! Not just to try on, but actually wearing them. And I think I may need a belt. Just for some background, they are white, low rise bell bottoms that hung in my closet for years that I desperately wanted to wear and honestly never believed I would.

2) I moved one notch tighter on my Apple Watch.
Feels good!

Pulled a 565 lb rackpull yesterday, but screwed up the video. I do have video of the 545 lb pull. Both were PRs!

My jewelry fits differently, especially my rings. They used to feel too tight, so tight, that I seldom wore them. Then, I used to need a little lotion or baby oil to remove them. Now, I can remove them with little effort at all.18
