Not sure what NSV stands for, but I think this fits...
I've read through this thread hoping someone would ask. Now if someone will just answer.22 -
I was switching from winter to summer clothes...Tried on jeans with tags on them still and they fit...Size 20. I have been a tight size 24/size 26 since my daughter was born...she just turned 15 years old. It was a good day!85

Tashat, thank you.19 -
Having to bunch up my yoga pants at the waist and tie off the excess fabric with a hair elastic to keep me from running or jumping out of them! It's time for me to invest in some new workout clothes soon!58

Mine recently was this past Saturday I went to Kohl's and bought some clothes!! Now this may sound all stupid but I used to not fit into their clothes unless I went to the Women's plus sizes which i wouldn't wear because they had nothing but floral, polyester, or things my MOTHER would wear! Not only was I able to walk in there, I was able to leave with 2 pairs of size 12 jeans!! I haven't seen that size in over 20 years!!! I started my journey as a 24-26 so this is just a huge motivator to keep pushing on!!152

Not sure what NSV stands for, but I think this fits...but in class the other day I was able to do 15 push ups on my toes with knee tucks and walkouts! I made it through 3 rounds of those along w/ my other various exercises for that round! Yay me!
Nsv is non-scale victory. Great one by the way!6 -
Mine is that I have a brand new muscle.19

Saw my pulmonary doctor yesterday and he said he "graduated" me from having to use the CPAP machine ... All due to weight loss. That and I am able to wear my mothers ring again. I am so happy and grateful for both. Happy days.78

1. One of the guys I work with told me I look "wicked healthy".
2. I rode my bicycle 150 miles in 2 days. (When I first started riding almost 2 years ago, I could barely make it 1 mile.)85 -
When I went for a walk this morning, I noticed my shadow and something was missing. I no longer noticed my belly in my shadow ( I actually turned several different ways to see if it was just the angle.).103

Yesterday I went down another belt hole on 2 different belts with 2 different pants (jeans and work pants). Woohoo!!!! :bigsmile:38

I've had a whole bunch of cute summer clothes from pre-weight gain (about 5 years ago) sitting in a storage box in my closet. I tried them all on the other day, and most of them fit! It's like I just a whole new summer wardrobe59

Last weekend, I went to the beach and actually wore a string bikini. First time since I was 16 that I wore a bikini in public.69

I managed to do 10 squats without holding onto the kitchen counter. I have had to use the counter for assistance for 12 weeks and yesterday I was able to let go and do 10 complete squats. A major victory for me.112

I went out on my bike today for the 1st time since last Oct and was a little bit nervous as I knew we were going on a path that I have struggled on before as it's slightly uphill for 2 miles, I had been able to do it no problem by the end of last summer, well today I rode it at a nice steady pace, a little slower than last year but I did it in one go with no stopping.33

First I love these threads so much inspiration from amazing health benefits ( meds), to the everyday temptation victories, meeting very long term goals ( pull up) and the clothing victories that I know have given me such feeling of satisfaction.
Mine getting from Prasarita Padottanasana into tri pod headstand and back in yoga class last night with some semblance of gracefullness. Particularly since my 12 year old track star daughter was with me and not able to pull off the headstand yet - more fear than physical ability I suspect. But it feels good to be a positive role model and still be able to take her on a few things for a little while longer.31 -
This has been a good week for me. Tuesday, my endo actually reduced my thyroid medication for the first time ever, and today I'm wearing a dress that a year ago I couldn't get past my thighs when I tried to step into it.47

Mine is that I have a brand new muscle.
YES!!! Every week a new one grows for me, it sounds so bizarre but I find myself rubbing my arms and legs constantly feeling the new muscles because I've never had them before!! Nice job when you can notice them growing, means you're working hard!!25 -
It's been a pleasure and an inspiration reading all of these. I want to quote each one and say "Well done!"
This morning I found I am unbelievably down four pants sizes. I bought those pants as a far away goal and I am astonished it is done; and now having seen your successes, I am setting new goals of doing a pull-up and working off my cellulite :drinker:42 -
I wore my "skinny jeans" to work today. The first time in a year!38
-
I was able to fit into my size 11/12 jeans that I haven't been able to wear for a few years. Funny, when I wore them last, I was 10 lbs lighter. Love those barbells with weights!29

Buying new underwear!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My "old" underwear, which were only a few months old, no longer stayed up. I took my dogs for a walk last week or so, and my undies were only held up by the crotch of my sweatpants. And... my sweatpants were too big too. To get the crotch in the "right" spot, I had to pull them up to under the girls. Yeah, it was interesting. I ended up having to hold the dogs' leashes in one hand and my pants in the other hand. (Holding the pants up, not actually carrying my pants.)
Anyhow, so now I have a huge stash of Victoria's Secret underwear that are too big. RATS. The good news is that I've found that I really like the Fruit of the Loom boy shorts. So, they cost much less and are actually more comfortable. I guess that's a win-win situation.70
