Almost none of my clothes fit me anymore. And yesterday a lady in my office said, "You look so tiny in that shirt." It was an old one that was previously too tight. But most importantly my blood pressure and cholesterol were perfect when I went for my annual checkup this week.101

I've accidently 'drowned' some buddies before because I wasn't able to lift them :frown: now that trickiest part was tovremve his weight belt without grabbing his crotch (which would have been awkward since I haven't trained with him as much as some of my other male buddies)8 -
Didn't have to buy larger summer clothes for the first time in 3 years.77

Well, my boss just found out he's prediabetic and needs to start losing weight right away ...... he's upset that his major food groups (pizza, soda & candy) are now in jeopardy
My NSV ....... he's asking me how I lost all that weight !82 -
The awesome red suede boots (with the biggest calf I could find) that I got for my birthday, the ones that wouldn't zip up past my ANKLE and made me cry...I just put them on and zipped them ALL THE WAY UP! They are still a little snug, but they went on! (and seriously, they make me feel like a a superhero) Those boots were my main motivation to start this, because I was so ashamed, and depressed that they were so awesome and so seemingly out of my reach...and they weren't, i just had to get off my butt and work towards them...and it really worked!128

I swam 3000 yards for the first time ever this morning and didn't have to stop and rest!74

Being told by my docter that I don't need to lose any more weight and that the BMI chart doesn't apply to me because I am quite muscular :O I am still classed as overweight on the charts ... Agreed on a maximum of 30 pounds more weight loss, which he feels is more for vanity, but hey I DO want to look my best. I never knew I was vain and always hid for photos, but now I ALMOST like how I look ><74

I was at a function last night and saw people that I haven't seen for a year. They kept commenting on how slim I had gotten since they last saw me. The thing is, I have actually gained a couple of pounds but I have been really working on lowering my BF% with some cardio and moderate weights. That was one of the best NSVs I have had in a long time. Shows all that hard work is paying off.47

My NSV doesn't really seem like much but was really positive for me. I struggle with getting to the gym enough during the week, the past few weeks I've been running outside instead of going to the gym. Well yesterday it was raining so I went in and the folks behind the desk said "hey, haven't seen you in here for a couple weeks, where ya been?" Doesn't seem like much but the fact that I go to the gym often enough now that they noticed when I wasn't there just made my day!
:drinker:122 -
Finished Day two if a C25K program yesterday. Never thought I'd be able to run that much at one time. Getting some initial weight off has for sure helped! I am on the road *hopefully* to being a runner
ETA: Got told this am I'm looking great and asked how much weight I've lost. I'll take it!46 -
In September 2011, my brother-in-law was badly injured at the Reno Air Races when one of the planes crashed into the crowd. He was in a coma for 6 weeks, and once he began to come out of the coma, he struggled hugely in trying to do even the simplest things, like sitting up on his own. As I watched him work so hard, I decided to take on a physical task that was a challenge for me. I wanted to honor his amazing attitude and commitment to becoming stronger by doing something that I had never been able to do -- and that was to do a pull-up. A few months later, he was beginning to lift small weights and to exercise regularly. I told him about my commitment to do a pull-up (I was still a long way away), and he challenged me to a race to see who could do one first. I agreed, convinced I would beat him. He was, after all, recovering from a serious brain injury and had also lost most of the fingers on one hand along with the loss of an eye. Happily, Bill managed to do his pull-up about 4 weeks later, in February 2012. Me on the other hand? I continued to struggle. But, I'm proud to announce that I finally did my pull-up about two weeks ago, and I've done several since then. I cried like a baby when I finally accomplished my goal. So, yes, it's a bit sad that it took me 2 1/2 years to do a pull-up, but it's one of my proudest accomplishments ever!208

I bought a dress last summer which fit me pretty snugly, but I wore it yesterday and it was loose! I could probably fit in the size smaller now :happy:30

Not sure what NSV stands for, but I think this fits...but in class the other day I was able to do 15 push ups on my toes with knee tucks and walkouts! I made it through 3 rounds of those along w/ my other various exercises for that round! Yay me!54

I actually liked a picture I was tagged in. Sounds stupid but usually I cringe at any picture of me because I always feel like they expose all my negatives and make me look worse than I feel. But this picture, it was actually very beautiful and I felt that all my hard work really was paying off.72
