I ran 4 k today in just under 30 mins. I have tried and failed c25k so many times. For me, this has removed a huge stumbling block. Today, I AM a runner.

That's really awesome!!! Congratulations! You ARE a runner!

Today, I realized that I don't have a double chin any longer when I tuck my head down to look over my reading glasses.
  • Just caught a side-view glimpse of myself in the elevator up to work. Thought to myself "dayum my booty looks good!" LOL.

It's not reeeeaaally a NSV, but it is still something that I am uber proud of!

I have planned my meals (breakfast and lunch) for Thursday in order to account for a treat that I have planned with my sister that evening!

Greggs Festive Bake!! UK people, are you with me?! Haha..

I have never planned that far ahead before, and I think it has been the moment where I have realised that this new lifestyle is sustainable and it doesn't always have to be a chore. So happy!!

The hoodie I wore last year is far too big this year.

This week I came across two pairs of jeans that only tend to fit with the help of oil (not literally, but you get my point)... Right now I've got to wear belts with them or they start showing my underwear.

His profile indicates he's lost 226 lbs - that sounds realistic to me. Bravo, TheSatinPumpkin!

Thanks. I started my WOE at a tight busting at the seams size 66.
    Day 1 @ 432lbs

It's times like this that I wish MFP had some kind of up/downvote system. Astounding progress, man!

I did 40 minutes on the elliptical. Not very far (about 6.5 laps), but by far my longest stretch!

My dresses for church were getting to large again {gastric sleeve 12-30-2012} so my dad took me shopping because he is proud of how far I have come. I now wear a size 18 in a dress and a 22 in jeans {that starting to get to large}. I have not been that small since high school [which has been 40 years]. Big change from the size 28 dress and never wearing jeans before surgery. Thank you God.

So ever since I'd gotten my first job, the days after Halloween were always my time to go 75% off candy shopping. For the first time in 9 years, I didn't go. I caved and had some candy people brought in at work (ugh) but I don't have ANY candy at home to tempt me.

I took a photo of myself for non-weight-loss related reasons and I have COLLAR BONES. I haven't even lost that much extra since I last took a photo so, I guess the weight just ... redistributed itself away from my shoulders? Baffling, but welcome!

I got a bag of chips from the vending machine (not good for me but oh so tasty), but it went in the diary along with the couple of pieces of halloween candy. I'm very likely to be well over today but it's still getting recorded. THis is not normal, I see I'm going to go over and give up recording for that day.

    1. FB post by someone else where family members thought I might be "sick" due to the how much weight I'd lost.

    2. Wearing HS Football Jersey and Letterman jacket for my halloween costume (and having them nearly fit)

I randomly tried on a bustier today that I've had since I was 17, but couldn't throw away because I love it (and it's still in excellent condition since I've been too big to get any real wear out of it, I could just get it on but it was a lumpy, uncomfortable, overly-tight mess.) It fits now! The cups were perfect, it hugged my newly-appearing waist and didn't pinch in under the arms or bunch up my back-chub. My fella was stunned when I showed him and very pleased with the result, lol. He said he loved me in it before anyway but wearing it now, he can really see the change in my figure. ^_^

Tried on an old pair of skinny jeans yesterday and they were extremely loose and baggy!
My skinny jeans became my fat pants!!

Time to go down a size... or two!

Hmm, nope... I have some NSL and some SI (non-scale losses and scale increases - totz made that up). But if eating out for every meal for a month straight is a victory, then here I am!
