Thank you so much @SueSueDio. This whole process has been about building the momentum and enjoying the journey. And yes, my partner is very proud of me. He's taking me to Vegas next weekend to celebrate, in moderation of course, along with his mother who is visiting us. Of course, now after this NSV, he can ask me to sit in the backseat for part of the trip.

I'm a fairly new runner. I started with walking/running and running downhills. For the last two days, I've been timing my running so that I'm running up hills. I don't always make it all the way, but a month ago I wouldn't have been able to make it as far up the hills as I do now.

Awesome, enjoy the trip! That last bit would suck though, I get travel-sick in the back...

My husband commented that his shirts were wearing out and being a man he absolutely will not go shopping. So, I moved all my mens clothes into his part of the closet. The XLs were too big for me anyways and the larges fit but look frumpy. I can't believe I'm the same size, maybe even a little smaller, than my husband! Next goal will be to weigh less than him.

I held a plank for a minute and a half at my fitness class today! I was shaking like crazy, but did it! Felt pretty good considering I'm just now finally back to my pre-holiday weight.

The instructor also told me that I looked good and she could tell I've lost "so much weight!" She's a classmate, so we've known each other since before I started losing and before I started going to her classes.

Tried on a size 9 pair of jeans today. They were tight but I could zip them up. Just few more pounds and I should be there!

I just bought a target shirt in a size large! I always have to get XL or Xxl! Not ever again!

I brought my sibs chips n didn't have but yesterday the box was just sitting at the table walked by it a few times thought it was empty. On this last trip decided to throw it out but there were a few crumbs in it n my wrist fit all the way without tipping it. I cud have punched out the bottom. Lol I got excited n wore that sleeve around the house for a while. I haven't been able to see my loss so far so I guess I'm gonna take every crumb I can get lol...

It was cold. Very cold.

It was windy. Very windy.

The wind made it colder. Much colder, we are talking sub-zero temperatures which we just aren't used to in Southern England.

It snowed.

I cycled (but not for long as I was completely frozen after 30 minutes).

But I'll be going out again later as it looks like it might be warmer (and the snow has stopped for now).

I can get into clothes I haven't worn in 3 years! I dug them out of storage a few days ago to see how much more I'd need to lose to finally be that size again, and almost passed out from happiness when I tried them on. Now I'm only about a size away from my goal.

I completed week 2 day 2 of C25K and was able to jog a bit more afterwards with my wife.

This week I saw a colleague I hadn't seen in 4 or 5 years (or more). We had a brief conversation on Monday but yesterday when I ran into him again I found out that he didn't know who he was talking to the other day and didn't realize who I was yesterday until he heard someone else say my name. I love a good jaw drop.

I recently passed my one-year point on MFP, and was able to stay on plan through vacations, work-related travel, and the holiday season. However, last week, I think I subconsciously rebelled and I had an entire week of IDGAF. My NSV is that I didn't let that derail me, and I've been back on plan this week with renewed enthusiasm. I think I needed the break.

We were in the supermarket earlier; I usually go through towards the end of the checkout to pack the shopping scanned whilst my husband finishes unpacking the trolley onto the conveyor belt. He then pushes the trolley through to the very end to put the shopping bags back into it whilst I carry on packing the shopping.

I usually stand to one side of the end part, so I'm partially blocking the narrow aisle between checkouts. On every occasion that I can ever remember, bearing in mind that I've been with my husband for 29 years now, I have had to move to the very end of the checkout so that the trolley can get past me.

Not this time. My husband pushed the trolley past me without my having to move, breathe in, squeeze up against the checkout or anything to make myself smaller. I was like "Huh? What happened there? Did the trolleys get smaller? Did the aisles get wider?" My husband reassured me that nothing had happened except that I've gotten smaller.

Result!

Another skill to relearn - spatial awareness. I'm always looking at a gap thinking "I'm never going to fit through that tiny space" only to find that I can. And do. This is probably an extension of the "Although I know I've lost lots of weight, I still see myself as humongous" brain trick.
