-Dancing - Zumba, BodyJam, latin ballroon, swing....or just free-stylin' it in my living room with the kids
    -Eliptical
    - I used to LOVE riding my bike all over when I was younger. Not only was it a way to get around without asking my parents to take me somewhere, but I loved the wind in my face, the freedom. One day I hope I can get back into it

I have a lot of friends/family members that are runners. Most of them started it not to lose weight, but because.....not sure. I just don't get it.

I like running. And am not trying to lose weight, except maybe a couple of pounds, to help me run faster.

But otherwise, cycling and hiking are also good. Basically anything you can do outside.

    STAIR STEPPER!

But I guarantee you, you'll hate it a thousand times more than you ever hated jogging. It's hell. Sheer, torturous HELL. But it makes the legs nice.

  • Swimming is awesome if you can do it outside. But I find swimming laps in an indoor pool can get pretty boring after awhile. Eventually it becomes sort of like running on a treadmill except you're drowning too.

IMHO any cardio that can be done outside is pretty enjoyable. Perhaps try finding some nicer places to exercise, like parks?

HA HA..I literally laughed out loud at the drowning comment..

    I actually enjoy running.
    Biking.
    Hiking.
    Rock Climbing.

Spartacus Workout (from Men's health web site... it's great for women, too! wifey loves it... arguably more strength than cardio, but if you do it right with 5-10 second breaks it's all-around awesome)

    Trail running / hiking

    Tae Bo

JustDance (yeah, losing the man card on this one... did I mention I workout with my wife?)

I recently started playing ultimate Frisbee (ultimate). I was a little skeptical of how much cardio it would be. I thought it was just a bunch of people throwing a Frisbee around. To my surprise it is amazing, its a bunch of sprinting and keeping your body moving. Even if you are not that good so long as you keep moving its a great workout. Plus the people i play with are pretty cool!

Ice skating briskly. I burn so many calories in 45 non-stop minutes it's crazy.

Power walking with a purpose. I get my arms going, walk on a track so it's a continuous walk and I put some good tunes in my mp3 player. I get a great cardio workout in and the time flies by. In my fastest mile I can walk a little over 4 miles an hour so I'm very close to jogging but with none of the impact.

Between walking outdoors and using walking dvd's I get in around 3 - 6 miles everyday and I love it!

Edited to add: Tennis is great as well.

Welllllll I'm one of those weird people who actually enjoys running, but besides that I love dancing and spinning. I take this cardio dance class at my gym where by the end I am soaked with sweat and truly believe that I am Beyonce. It's awesome.
