I bought a new ice cream to keep at work, Turkey Hill Chunky Peanut Butter. It's goooood! I only had one big spoonful, and I'm going to have a spoonful of Jeni's Sweet Potato with Torched Marshmallow tonight. Yeah, I'm still working through that one slowly!

Have you tried Turkey Hill's Butter Brickle?

Brownies today. Kids' school show and they had cookies and brownies after. Some of the brownies were almost fudge like... so delicious.

Day 30- It was my birthday, so I had an oreo crème filled and a brownie filled chips ahoy, then banana tempura and like 3 slices of red velvet cake with vanilla frosting.
    Day 31- Devil Dog
Day 32- 3/4 of a strawberry Pop Tart, a cup of cherry vanilla ice cream and a Sara Lee Brownie Chocolate Chip Cookie Cake. It's really tasty but had I known it was so small, I probably would have gotten something else.
Day 33- Sara Lee Brownie Chocolate Chip Cake, Oreo creme filled chips ahoy
Day 34- Sara Lee Brownie Chocolate Chip Cake, 3 Keebler Deluxe Fudge Grahams, and a mix of cookies and cream/espresso frozen yogurt topped with mochi, crushed snicker doodle cookies and oreos.
Day 35- 3 Keebler Deluxe Fudge Shoppe Grahams and a slice of Pineapple Upside Down Cheesecake from the cheesecake factory. HOLY COW. This was amazing. It was nice and light, and even though it was over 1000 calories, it was well worth it.
Day 36- 3 Keebler Fudge Shoppe Grahams.
dAY 37- Had a reward for a free pastry, so I got a Peach Pecan Crunch Muffin from Panera. This was light and delicious.
Day 38- Sara Lee Brownie Chocolate Chip Cake and 3/4 of a serving of Ben and Jerry's Rockin Blondie
Day 39- Sara Lee Brownie Chocolate Chip Cake, a low fat strawberry poptart, and Ben and Jerry's Rockin Blondie. This ice cream is so good but I wish it had a bit more blondie chunks.
    Day 40- ShopRite Corn muffin.
Day 41- Corn Muffin and I'm going to the local beach today with my mom so I'm planning on getting a Chipwhich for my Friday treat. Have a good one all!

I finally got to try those Yasso frozen Greek yogurt bars yesterday. Bleh. It's pretty bland. Big disappointment.

Back from my month in Italy in which I ate pastries almost every morning and gelato AT LEAST once a day. Not to mention all the pizza, pasta and wine...

Weighed in yesterday and today, looks like about a 2 lb gain from my maintenance number but well within my maintenance range and a totally pleasant surprise since I had figured on at least 7-10 lbs the way I was eating!

Just wanted to say thanks to LOLBro for starting the gelato thread and then this one, and to all of you posting here for all the awesome suggestions, food porn pics, baking inspiration, and new friend requests!

Awww thanks! It was all the walking we did. Seriously, it was a little heartbreaking not to count all the steps b/c I couldn't charge my FitBit. Now that I'm back though, I seriously am going to start baking!

I'm convinced that's how I manage not to gain on vacation too. A week of walking, snorkeling, and bike riding cover a multitude of stops for gourmet ice cream.

I spent 9 days in Austria -- and while I didn't eat to the point of bursting, I wasn't watching what I ate either. If I was hungry and it looked good, it was consumed. If it was covered in whipped cream: consumed. If it was Sacher torte: eaten. (Btw, forget whatever Yelp reviewers tell you: the best Sacher torte BAR NONE is at the Sacher Cafe. Do not waste your time with other cakes.) Schnitzel? Done. Einspaenner (espresso with a giant dollop of whipped cream) was my standard drink.

The morning after we returned I weighed exactly the same.

I then lost 3 pounds in the next 2 days.

Metabolism and weight loss are strange, strange things...

I saw it at Safeway, but couldn't get it at the time. Went back the next day, and it was gone!

Wow! Very nice! If your carbs were lower when you came home, you probably dropped some water weight. Nice way to lose.

Haha yeah. I wish I was one of those people too... Leaving for a week in 3 days.

Yesterday I had a Starbucks almond croissant (they are actually quite delicious) and a piece of cheesecake (ricotta I believe). Nothing out of the ordinary otherwise. Keeping it low for the next few days now though.

Well, no vacations for me now or in the foreseeable future, so my updates are of the boring "what I can get at the grocery store variety." Here's what I've been up to:

Chuao Ravishing Rocky Road - chocolate bar with marshmallows and candied almonds. Yummy, and the marshmallows were actually soft and gooey, which was a surprise since I bought it at the store. Only complaint is that the marshmallows and almonds are whole and kinds pressed into the bottom of the bar, I would have liked them mixed in.

Chuao Potato Chip - chocolate bar with potato chips, and the potato chips were crushed and mixed in. It was like a salty Nestle Crunch bar. Had enough calories to eat the entire thing in one sitting and was glad I did. Would eat again.

Talenti German Chocolate Cake with Samoas - Chocolate, coconut, caramel, and pecan gelato with chocolate, coconut, and caramel cookie. I am a damn genius.

Glazed donut with bacon and habanero - No. Just no. Too much habanero, it overpowered the sweetness and ruined bacon. Got this from the farmer's market, not willing to give this a second try. Three people ate exactly 1/4 of this donut; none of us liked it.

S'mores brownie - from the same stall at the farmer's market as the wretched donut. Graham cracker crust, brownie with chocolate chunks, topped with marshmallow fluff and melted, torched marshmallows. Totally made up for the donut.

 Could someone please explain to me what we are doing here or trying to do? I understand that it looks likes eating sweets each day for 30 days but what about your calories for the day? I am quite confused. Rules. Please?
