Your Advice Needed

I have decided to attend a wine tasting next month. It is a sit-down sort of thing at a nice venue. I am going to be wearing my new Dolce and Gabbana blouse for sure, but I'm not sure what I should wear it with. I mean I can definitely think of things to wear it with in GENERAL - but the question is, for this sort of event, what would it look best with? You can also give me some advice as to what shoes to wear it with - don't be shy. I am thinking that for sure I will wear the Dolce perfume (I have received a sample of it with my order) but maybe I'll have used it up by then. Other perfume samples I have are
-Miss Dior
-Tom Ford Violet Blonde
-Coco Mademoiselle
-Jour D'Hermes
-Terre d'Hermes
-Valentina
-Marni
-Kilian
-Bottega Veneta
-Coco Noir
-Bonbon by Viktor&Rolf
-Carven
-La Vie est Belle
So you can tell me if one of those perfumes would fit the outfit that you would recommend for me, in case my Dolce runs out.

Don't wear perfume to the wine tasting. You'll ruin it for people around you

Wear no perfume, Smelling somebody would ruin my tasting of the wine. I'd ditch the perfume and wear a mildly scented lotion if you insist on smelling like anything. There is NOTHING worse at an event like that than somebody making me sneeze and filling my nose and mouth with the residual-alcohol scent of perfume.0

Okay so I should save my Dolce sample and wear it there :-) I hope it actually smells good, wouldn't it suck if the first time I apply it it smells bad? heheh
I think I'll wear some beige nail polish with the blouse...and I was thinking skinny black jeans would be great, and heels...I've got a pair of heels from LK Bennett....I could buy some black skinny jeans from a random store...but they would look cheap...so I guess it would probably be better to go with what I have....white True religion jeans rolled up like capris...with the lk bennett silver heels...not sure what to wear for makeup...
maybe I could wear the gold colour in dior's golden flower eye shadow quint and then gold glitter around it....that would look nice...or maybe all that glitters by mac
Sigh...oh, what the hell.....Don't wear perfume. It's going to mess with your nose and you need that for the tasting.0 -

I'm sure all the other people attending a wine tasting event are, you know, interested in tasting wine.
Your fashion statement? - maybe not so interested.0 -

Not sure if you're serious....
But please do not wear a stong perfume to a wine tasting event. Even if YOU aren't going to doing any tasting, other people presumably are, and any strong scents will interfere with their ability to smell and taste the wine properly.
I'd avoid white trousers in case any red wine gets spilled on them, and as for silver shoes with beige nail polish? Srsly?0 -

People like looking at my makeup and clothes. I know this because I have been complimented upon my makeup skills and people often ask me if a makeup artist did my makeup. So of course I have to make sure to provide people with the optimal visual experience at the wine tasting which is taking place at a nice restaurant.
Firstly, do not wear perfume to a wine tasting... It's just rude. The tasting involves smelling the wines aromas and if all people can smell is you, you are likely to Pisa them off.
Secondly, do I need to be the first to say it? Get over yourself, nobody will be looking at your blouse, your skinny jeans or your make up. Nobody will care so do it for yourself not for other people.
But I stress DO NOT WEAR PERFUME!!0 -
So I snooped your past posts to work out if you are trolling or just really shallow and I see you have concerns about animal welfareI am annoyed at people giving me a hard time for being a vegetarian. They ask me why I am a vegetarian and I explain that I don't like the idea of killing animals. I acknowledge that animals in the wild do kill each other as well, but that I'd rather not have anything to do with it.
So this doesn't stretch to worrying about animal testing of perfumes and cosmetics then?0 -

then do it and come back and lecture me
A glimpse of the real person? A bit snarky perhaps and not as unassertive and clueless as some of the previous posts written by this person would suggest.0 -
Well, this is someone who is happy to pay $700 for a top. That tells me plenty.0

The most interesting thing about any woman is her brain. The best preparation for a social event is to read a book.0

Excellent advice, Sherry! I like that one ;-)0

I will look stunning there~ And people will love to smell my perfume. I don't drink alcohol, I'm just going because it seems like a classy social event.
Okay, so you are going to a wine tasting event, but do not drink wine.....hhhhmmmmm. Something's not quite right there.0 -
