    The first time I went skydiving, after the canopy had deployed it was a quiet, beautiful world.

    Gotta agree. I did skydiving as well, such a amazing feeling and sight.

    It was a sunny summer day 12 years ago. A Saturday. I went over to a friend's house to hang out, and maybe play some guitar. He was outside washing his Jeep when I pulled up. One of our friends was there. She was a small girl with a very nice body. She had short hair. Not, shoulder length, short. Boy short on the sides and back and a little longer and spiky on the top. She was in a loose fitting white tank top and olive green shorts. She was wearing sunglasses but not wearing shoes and she sat on the stoop with her arms crossed on her knees. She was distractingly beautiful.

    And I knew her before that day, and had spoken to her and hung out with her.... but on the stoop that day with the sun shining down on her small frame. I eventually had something to say, but it is the only time I can remember being taken aback with someone's beauty.

    I've seen the Grand Canyon several times, but to me, it didn't compare to Waimea Canyon in Kauai, HI.

    I love to watch young children as they discover new things in their world. It is fascinating and beautiful at the same time.

    That is the entire reason I've been a preschool teacher for 26 years.

    The most beautiful thing I ever see is all 3 of my kids sleeping... at the same time. It's the most amazing and beautiful thing anyone can ever imagine.
