If this is still being answered...

for me, it was difficult because of my eating habits before I started counting. When I started counting I felt like I didn't eat nearly as much as I should have because I couldn't go over my intake. I believe the same could be said for those who don't eat nearly enough and start counting and find out they have to eat more.

So it really just depends on your habits before you start counting.

Considering buying a crock pot? Is it worth it? How often do you use yours?
Can you use it for breakfast?
Yep, it's great for breakfast... Fill it up, plug it in, go to bed, wake up to yummy smells.
I don't use mine much anymore... Haven't found any recipes my son likes. But that may change since he's into soups now. Hmmmm... Crockpot minestrone.

    Soup?

Can we talk about other crock pot ideas? I'm not the biggest fan of soup during the summer- which is a shame because the White Bean Chicken Chili at Cheesecake Factory is one of the most filling items on the SkinnyLicious menu.

The actual counting calories is easy. The mental aspect and figuring out the right balance of calories between meals, however, is a bit more of a challenge.

It's not hard. It's annoying as ****. It was so much easier to just grab however much I thought I wanted and eat until I was sick. But it's necessary for me to lose weight, soooooooooooooooo.

I'm doing the spare ribs and BBQ sauce (how much of each??) and chicken breasts and broth recipes (qty again??). These recipes showed up just in time because I'll be in training again next week. Which frequently means 12 hour days as I struggle to catch up after dinking around in some room for 8 hours

And let's face it, most of us were naughty before so had bad habits! I am with you though, it is all about your habits and getting your body used to health eatin'.

Mmm... Fettuccini Alfredo... This is more work than my usual crockpot fare, but looks like it might be worth it.

Lots of interesting chicken recipes here... I see several that make me want to break out the crockpot today.

And yes, minestrone. I'm gonna make my son happy by making this the next time I have a night meeting... and hope he saves me some for when I get home.

Counting calories is really easy. The rest is changing habits, making 'sacrifices', not always being able to have what you want, willpower, and actually wanting to lose weight enough to work hard and do it.

Exactly. My biggest bad habit was constantly snacking. /Constantly/. That and I could never have enough Pepsi. I've straightened all that out though.

I love the crockpot. Just throw everything in and let it cook all day. I don't use it often but with these recipes I will have to dust it off soon.

I do the same thing with my rice cooker/veggie steamer. I just throw everything in and I have a meal in about 40 minutes. I'm going to have to dig out the recipe book that came with it and see what else it can do.
